I am so addicted to this game. The graphics are awesome and it is so much fun. There are a lot of different options in setting up your park.

In this game you are able to desighn, build and do other cool stuff! Every minute you play is fun! I reccomend you to play this game.

Ever been to a theme park and wondered what it would be like to build awesome rollercoasters? If you answered yes (or you just love to go to theme parks), this game is for you! Rollercoaster Tycoon brings you into the magical land of the theme park industry. Amazing graphics and easy-to-learn features help you create the theme park of your dreams. A huge assortment of ride designs and types await you in this fun-filled software. Each guest is individual, with varying tolerances for thrill rides. Guests get hungry, thirsty, tired, excited, and a host of other emotions. Make sure your speakers are in good working order, because you'll need them. The sounds in this game are delightful. You hear everything that goes on, such as ride machinery, guest screams and squeals, and merry-go-round music. This game makes you feel like you're in real theme park, but without the blistered feet and motion-sickness.

You can track your financial standings throughout the game, allowing you to set park entrance, ride, and food/drink prices. Keep the guests healthy and happy, and they'll keep you in business...but build rides too scary and too nauseating and they'll quickly become dissatisfied. A dozen or so senarios will keep you playing until your fingers get numb, with an endless number of possibilities awaiting you. Each senario has a unique objective, helping you to be analytical and improvisational.

Rollercoaster Tycoon is sure to please any player, from young child to adult. It keeps you deep in the game, and keeps your imagination razor-sharp. This is a must have for any gamer, young or old.

Okay! RollerCoaster Tycoon is the best! It's just awesome. You get to build your own fair. It has a variety of many rides. Sometimes you make such a cool park you wish it existed so you could go! For many of the rides you can either use their design or you can create your own. You can also click on a person to see if they like it, what their thoughts are etc. This is seriously one if not the best game in the world. If you need gift ideas this would be it. I can't wait for the new ones! And remember it is the BEST!

I must say this is a great game! I'm not too much into playing computer games but this one got me. I love to play when I get a chance and when I do time flies. I say when I get a chance cause my 6 year old loves it too. She spends lots of time on this game. In fact we have to monitor it a bit (of course I have to monitor myself a bit too). Time does escape when you get absorbed into building your own theme park. I think it's great because you have to use your brain a bit and then you get to see the outcomes of the decisions you've made. Definitely worth the money and I can't say that for much of today's toys/games. Can't wait to try out the other ones!

Roller Coaster Tycoon's VERRRY addictive, whether it is played by a kid or by an adult. It's fun, it has cool graphics, easy goals, etc. I spent playing it once for 7 hours that I couldn't even hear my mother telling me to quit playing and eat my dinner. When I went to a friend's house, I brought this game and introduced it to my friends. They were all engrossed and couldn't concentrate on what we should have done and instead, played this game for hours. My biggest mistake was lending the CD to one of my friends and returned it to me a couple of months later.
Handling this game is pretty easy, with all the building of roller coasters, stalls, etc. I have a lot of strategies in this game like, prioritizing to build an information kiosk first so that if it rains, you could raise money by increasing the prices of umbrellas. Anyway, parents should buy this game for their children 'coz it doesn't promote violence, enhances strategies & experience the fun of playing it

Although this may not be the best game ever, it is a fun experience that has endless hours of gameplay. It's a unique, fun, and unpredictable game that many people have played. The graphics might not be the best (they seriously don't have to be), and the sound may be odd sometimes, this makes a solid game that is fun.

Basically, in this game, you build your own theme park. There's tons of scenerios (especially if you buy the expansion pack) in which you make a part with different rides and things at your disposal on a different landscape. There are a lot of levels that are all different, and all have their own theme.

At the beginning of a level, you get a goal that you have to meet to beet the scenario. From there, you go building and creating rides, shops, eating stalls, and more. You can build all sorts of things: from water slides to roller coasters, from haunted houses to swinging ships. You can even build food places, drink stalls, a balloon shop, and information booth, and more. You can even build you own unique roller coaster, or download one off the internet (if you're not happy with the prebuilt ones in the game). This game is challenging, since you have to manage your park, while keeping a large amount of money.

Right now, you can get this game for about $2, so I'd buy this cheap, fun game.

This game is so much fun--it keeps you occupied for hours and gives you a feel of what it must be like to be a money-managing amusement park owner! In fact, the only problem I have found with this game (I have been playing for over four years) is that the guests in the park are always brown-haired men.

I highly reccommend the Loopy Landscapes expansion in addition to this game especially if you want more scenarios, building options, rides, and more!

I was drawn to this game because one aspect of my work includes some antique carousel restoration. I have also been a long time afficianado of amusement parks. I am not much of a game player, but this addictive game quickly drew me in. I have been playing it (with the addition of the Corckscrew Follies Expansion Pack) for over a year and still have not tired of it. The varied scenarios and endless options including the ability to design ones own rides lead to endless options. Warning: It's extremely addictive....if it's subject matter is at all of interest to you, you will not be able to stop playing.

Roller Coaster Tycoon rocks! I think it is so cool how you can run your own amusement park. I love all of the different roller coasters and rides that you can build. It's neat how you can design and build rides yourself. It's also fun to run and try to achieve a goal that you have to do to earn new parks. That is my opinion of Roller Coaster Tycoon.
