My favorite!!!!

I first found out about this game when a friend lent it to me.....I liked it so much, I bought it!! The graphics are excellent, and the different worlds are amazing!! The Sheila worlds are kinda hard, but I used some online walkthroughs to not only help me through the levels, but unlock some fun cheats!! (ex. All breath abilities, invincible, infinite lives, etc.) This game would be perfect for gamers new to the GBA Spyro series, and is well worth the money.

Dissapointed

I could barely get through the first few minutes of the game. Something about the shakey camera work style movement of Spyro made me really sick feeling. And, it was kinda boring.

Fun Game!

This was my first Spyro game to play on a GameBoy, and I was very suprised at the amazing color and detail of the game! This game has great graphics and color and music. The 3-D world also makes Spyro: Season of Flame more challenging. The only thing that disappointed me was the incredibly short amount of time it took me to complete the game. In this game, you have to save all of the fireflies and stop Ripto and company from taking over the Dragon Realms. There are 3 bosses in all. And, when you get tired of playing Spyro, you can takes a break and play Shelia the Kangaroo or Agent 9 the monkey in their own levels! This game has two mini-games: Dragon Draughts, or checkers with dragons as the pieces, and Sparx Panic. Sparx Panic can only be unlocked when the game is 100% complete and you have collected ALL 100 fireflies and ALL 8000 gems. The secret game is a great way to push you to actually COMPLETE the game instead of just winning. I'm not going to spoil the suprise, but I will tell you that it is a lot of fun and worth completing the game for. Actually, Sparx Panic is harder than the Spyro game itself. This game is a lot of fun and is definately worth trying!

It's good...

It's a good game. The only hassle is fireflies don't come that often, and for alot of zones you need alot of fireflies to open them. Also, those zones lead to Rhynoc hideouts, and you have to stop the Rhynocs from taking ALL of the FIREFLIES. Therefore, you wouldn't beat the game, which is a big hassle!!! Other than that, it has some great graphics, making the game look like a one-screen Nintendo DS game. Plus, there are some nice challenges, which leads you to crazy things! Also, it has some good music, the kind of music you would hear in Zelda. If you don't have this game and wan't a challenge out of Spyro, you should get this game.

His creator made these games pure GOLD.

A poorly made and annoying little game

I bought this game so I could have some entertainment on a car trip. I shouldn't have. This game is pointless and annoying. Parts of it are too easy, and other parts seem impossible. It doesn't make any sense. I mean, all you have to do is collect all the gems, freeze a few fireflies (which happen to be unrealistically big) and complete some mini-games. It is extremely easy to destroy enemies, because most of them go down with one hit. When you play on the Sheila the kangaroo levels, you die a lot because it's hard to jump on enemies. The Agent 9 levels have prehistoric graphics, and also, the music is never the kind that gets your heart pumping. In Metroid Fusion, for example, it has very scary music when the SA-X (the ultimate enemy) goes by. In Spyro, it always has a happy little tune playing. I advise all gamers to buy something else, and avoid Spyro at all costs.

I love this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go thruogh a portal and turn off while it says Saving game turn back on and play same game game will be started all over DIE ON PURPOSE DO NOT GET AN EXTRA LIFE .okay.keep going with game. You will have to do it all over again but you will have infinity lives. You will eventually go to 99 though.

Frustrating but fun

It is very frustrating and very easy to die or fall in the water but the controls are VERY easy. Try renting it first. I had to go through a level about 30 times and I'm NOT exaggerating!!![.] But it is fun in the first levels because if you fall in the water, faerie magic will get you to land so you won't lose a life :) DO NOT BUY IT RIGHT AWAY!!![.] I'd recommend it to kids ages 8-16 cause it IS pretty hard and I felt like throwing the game on the floor and setting it on fire. When I need a good puzzle game or fun entertainment I play this game!

Spyro!

This Spyro game is really cool and fun. In the game there are 30 levels which you get to team up with Agent 9 and Sheila. The levels aren't too challenging, but they provide plenty of fun and action. The graphics kick butt as well as the gameplay. The levels range from the desert to a gypsy place and even a bakery type level. Not to mention agent 9's blast-a-thon's with the Rhynocs. Sheila gets jumping in this game, as well as a good headbashing. The sound or music is cool. You should get this game. It's well worth the effort.

Let me just say something. This game is great. Make that GREAT!!!! There's all-new moves such as super headbutt ice breath, fiery breath and even lightning breath! If you liked the previous Spyro games your gonna LOVE this one. I think the only disavantages are that the game finishes quite quickly and that it can be really frustrating sometimes. If you like the Donkey Kong games then you'll might like it as they are both similar. I say if your thinking about action\aventure games think Spyro!

Good luck with playing Spyro!
