This game is the best multiplayer tactical fps of all time...very realsitic, but dont lisiten to the people who say you cant use a 56kmodem for performance, it runs fine just a LITTLE jerky.So....I reccomend a pentium450mhrz geforce2.....
3d highquality sound card..........cable or dsl..........128mbram....aboutit that is.And for pentium2300mhrz I reccomend geforce3,4or radeon8500.I reccomend this game.

i have been playing this game before the retail version. this game is the best ever if you are into online mods and fisrt person shooters. i have a 56k modem, and for those of you that say you cant play online with one of these, YOUR WRONG! i am in a good clan and i rock with my 56k. i recommend you buy this game if you are into all this stuff. the only bad part about it is that you have to download upgrades for it which take me about 2 and a half hours to download! but deff buy this game, it rules all, im addicted to it! BUY IT NOW!

This Game is the best game ever made by sierra or any other company.U are a terrorist or counterterrorist. You can choose from 16 different weapons excluding grenades etc etc the only bad part is if u dont have cable dsl t1 t2 or t3 ur screwed and u want to download a map it can be slow or fast depending on the server. u also get a few flaws in the updates but they wont destroy your computer.Buy this game. i cant stress this enough u will enjoy this game completly. its worth your money. P.S. All YOur base are belong to us.

This is the best game I've ever played!!!!!You can choose from so many different kind of guns.The graphics are ok...but the game play is awesome!!!The best is playing online with other players.First you will have to download patches of the game to be up to date.[....]

In my life I have played alot of computer games but by far this had been the best game I have ever played in my life. I found out about it from my friend who loved this game and told my to try it, so I listened to him and it turns out that I got hooked on it. At first I wasn't that good, but the more I played the better I got at it. I recommened that if someone is planning to buy an action comuter game, I suggest you buy Half Life:Counter Strike

this is the best game ever made, the only game that has ever made me sit down, and never even THOUGHT about getting bored!, i play against friends on weekends (you can also chat during the game aswell) i recommend getting a cable modem, and you'll never ever have a problem.THE BEST!!!
p.s. i ised to hate shooting games, but c-strike is so realistic that its so addictive and it rox!

Counter-Strike offers realistic, strategy gaming where if you dont think your out! The weapons range from smoke grenades to sniper rifles. The 1st time a I shot someone I jumped around my room for some minutes (as killing someone is not as easy as Half-Life but twice the fun!) This game is a must for Half-Life fans & I strongly recommend purchase!

This game is bad [cool]. It tight when you are on the internet playing people from different countries. These graphics are so tight even without a good video card. This game can keep anyone up all night. Trust me, if it worked for me, it can work for you. This is by far the most exciting and most " Off your chair" Half-Life game made yet. Im hoping the next time you make a PC game purchase, you will choose Counter-Strike. My screen name on Half-Life is bigN. C-ya playing!!
