Best game on the market!!!!

For all those who thought the rpg genre was dead then look no further. Morrowind is without a doubt the most immersive game that I have ever played. Everything is amazing. The world is HUGE and you can roam every piece of land on the map. Including swimming if you prefer. The graphics are jaw dropping & the thing that completely won me over was the fact that you can approach this game however you want. You can join guilds, travel solo, follow the main storyline or do anything that you want. It is amazing. I could go on forever about this game but what's the point. If you want an unbelieveable rpg gaming experience then check out this game, and if you don't believe me just wait for the reviews to start pouring in. GET THIS GAME!!!!

Very good, deep game....

prepare to lose many hours of your life with this one. it doesn't pull you in the first second like Diablo, but after a few hours there's no turning back. great graphics, great gameplay, great storyline(but you don't have to follow it, there's just so much to do),Morrowind is highly recommended for any true RPG player.

Great Game

I've been playing the game pretty much non-stop since I got it yesterday, It's great fun. The world is huge, there is tons of stuff to do. The only thing I don't like is that it's real hard. Maybe I am just going to places that I shouldn't be at, but I keep getting the snot beat out of me, and that makes it hard to do anything else. But overall, a great game.

from what i saw in videos/previews Morrowind looks VERY good.

Will *probably* be my next purchase after Dungeon Siege.

However, one BIG concern:

Morrowind is a single player game - it's hard to imagine playing "single player" again after i have so much fun in games like "Dark Age of Camelot" and other multiplayer online games.

I am sad that they didnt make a multiplayer game out of it... :/

Edit: From all what i know (read the many previews on the net from people who actually *played* the beta/preview already!) this is the mother of all RPG games, no question that i will get that game and a "must have" for every RPG fan !!! Incredible !!!

an astonishing game

gameplay is well over a month, and with the construction set is virtually limitless this is the altime game of this year. anything is possible from owning a shop, guild, or castle, to having a gang of killers, murdering people left and right. the editors is just as good as the game unless you dont like making your dreasm game come to life. this is truly the altime game of the year with the best
graphics
gameplay
construction set
and music making it the game of the year.

Try before you buy

The game is great, and definitly worth playing if you can get it going, I've had minor crash issues, but normally, they only occur after a long session of playing, 6-7 hours solid playing, the game does need some serious hardware though, I'm now running a 1.8P4, with 256Mb, and a Geforce 4 128Mb - allows all the bells and whistle, and bot is there some eye candy, initially I was using a Geforce 2 64Mb, and had to tone down the effects, no nice water, no sunrises, no hot relections.
So as I say in the title, make sure you can return the game if your not sure it'll run on your system.

Best Buy RPG

Morrowind is the most enthralling RPG I have ever played. There are endless possibilities for the character to act on, and the game has the best graphics I've ever seen. There are probably thousands of characters, and equally as many unique weapons, scrolls, and special items. This game can provide hundreds of hours of playing time. Along with the construction set, this game should be worth, in my humble opinion, upwards of two hundred dollars. A totally awesome game.

OK game

I've played all three games in the Elder Scrolls series, and I still think the orignial, Arena, was by far the best. In Morrowind, the landscape and culture doesn't vary very much from place to place, and the combat action can get boring. It was fun in '94 with Arena, this is '02. They should make the opponants appear wounded, or let you hack of limbs, something other than just red blood splattering when you hit them.

You can still get a kick out of this game; there is a lot of places to explore and many things to do. It's just not a GREAT game.

Daggerfall is MUCH MUCH better!!!

all the other reviews talk of how HUGE the world is in this game but it is extremely small when compared to its predecessor Daggerfall. Dgrfall had about 9 or 10 provinces in it with hundreds of cities in each province. Mrwind is only that one stupid little island with stupid/short dungeons. In Dgrfall i literally had to start over because i would get lost in the dungeons for weeks. i still enjoy playing Dgrfall. The graphics in Morwind are definitely superior, but that is all it has. I killed a few guards and now my character can't walk into any town without getting the ... beat out of him. in dgrfall, all i had to do was go to another province and things would be all right. dgrfall is a much much better game and i would highly recommend that as the best rpg game ever. morrowind has amazing graphics but the world is too small and not enough creatures.

The Best Game I`ve Ever Played!!
