Elder Scrolls 3,is a very cool game. The problem is you have to go into your Task Manager and eliminate almost all your unneeded processes, then lower all your audio and video options for the game to run properly.Even then it still loads incredibly slow or crashes. You'll have to save every time it starts to get slow then quit your game and start again. You'll need a strong gaming platform this game to be any fun at all.Though I probly wont get the exspansion,I'm not going to stop playing anytime soon even with all the hassle.
Huge game

The game world is huge. If you like first person and rpgs then this is a must. Excellent graphics. Many skills. THe ability to enchant your own items. Create your own spells. And tons of quests. Get the expansion too and you'll have lots of gameplay.

I am going to shorten my review by basically saying you can do anything you could possibly want to in this astonishing game. You can simply wonder around in the woods for hours, killing animals to improve your character's abilities, or you can go into a village and slaughter townsfolk, soon after stealing every single item in their house, down to the last spoon. Then, you can go sell all of it and become a rich man! You can join guilds and learn the ways of the fighter or the magician. You can do it all in this amazing simulation of fantasy Midievil times. It's huge, packed with information, and yours for the exploring. You can even swim out into the ocean for about 500 miles (I was really bored one day) If you're an RPG fan, buy this game immediately; no matter what the console.
"Best RPG Everr?" What a joke!

OH COME ON. It's not the best. Sure, the *game play* is the best ever, but that's it. Infact, the game would hardly run on my computer, ... If you don't care about graphics and audio as longa s this game has a decent story line and good game play and is playable at some settings, the truth is there is NO harm in getting MORROWIND. But if your the exact opposite, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME!

My review will be short, full of acid and to the point. This game was suppose to tbe a crhistmast preasent from my mom and dad only to find out that the screen only goes up to 24 true color. Now I have to buy a new video card so I can play it and say if I like it or not.
READ THE SYSTEM REQUIRMENTS CARFULLY!!! and for those of you who have enough money to burn and have intel 4's and windows XP well good for you but us mere mortals don't have that kind of money to spend.
Pure pleasure!

Elder Scrolls is not only a great game but and awsome sequal. It has many features such as creating your own character and an exciting storyline. Plus this game will keep you on your feet for a very, very long time. Not to mension the everlasting appeal on multiplayer mode on the internet. Overall this game is a must get and plenty to do that will definately go down in history.
So much could have been done...

This game has a huge worldmap and fantastic graphics, but, unfortunately, they were ruined by very tedious gameplay and a VERY slow beginning.
Excellent Game

I wasn't expecting much from this game at first and then I started playing it. I was utterly amazed at the graphics in the game and the gameplay itself is addictive, making you lose track of time quickly. I'd recommend this game to anybody who likes roleplaying. It isn't Dungeons & Dragons, but I believe the system they used is much more realistic for computer gaming.
Liked Daggerfall better

Now that was a good game. It had decent music, decent graphics for its time, and the characters you chose looked beautiful. This is so so in my opinion, as it is not enough better from what I've seen to warrant an overhaul of your machine (you need a Pentium 3 or more, a dvd-rom, and everything else to work well; Daggerfall ran on WIndows 95/98). I managed to get it to run even without the dvd-rom, but I wasn't really impressed. That all considered, the controls are harder to maneuver (since I didn't have a manual, I had a tough time figuring out how to talk to people), and they scrapped the default design from Daggerfall, so you have to move forward using alphanumerics instead of cursor keys. If you have a manual, and you have the specifications, it might be worth your while. Given the choice, though, I'd rather purchase Daggerfall again. I just found out that even though XP generally forbids Daggerfall, if you are unlucky enough to have XP and not have capacity to run Morrowind, go type in Daggerfall XP patch into the search engine to reconfigure the system. I think the deal is that it's illegal to have both on your computer, so if you have Morrowind capacity (I hate you), you shouldn't install this patch.
