Ready to go back to school - now you can!

I remember as a kid wishing I was in control of the high school, what changes I would make. Well Global Star Software has given everyone the chance to run a school of their own. Be careful, I thought it was going to be a snap and found out that planning ahead will certainly cut down on headaches later on.

You choices from the very beginning are what building to put and how many will you need. From there you have to create a school system that works and hire teachers, make sure you have everything looking good because the better the school looks I found the more students that will attend.

I also found too that if you forget to add a cafeteria you find the student revolting. The cool thing about this game is what you get to add to the school from a skateboard park to an arcade. While there user manual is a cute design, like a notebook, it lacks serious details about playing, but if you have played any "tycoon" games than you should be able to pick this up quickly.

The thing that reminded me most of my youth in school was the student body and how you can create the groupings like cheerleaders and preppies, to the athletes and those who like to get in trouble. If you really want some fun, you can even customize characters and add yourself to the school, virtually anything you can think of doing in or to a school is in this game.

While I do not get to play games all that often this one is captured my attention. Overall this one is great.

This game is soooooo cool! Some problems are:

you can't name the school

things catch on fire and there is NO fire department

some thing are over dramatized( the detention has land mines and security cameras)

Some good thing are:

you can create students it's fun makeing me and my friends and family

you can see inside the school

you can see what people are thinking

I thought it was a good game

if you like the sims you'll love this one. so many things in it. overall it's an awesome game. If you are thinking about buying it. BUY IT!!!

I loved this game! You make your different classrooms as seperate buildings. Also, you can put luxury places in, from Cafe's and pizzarias, to detention centers and teachers lounges.
This was one of the best games I have ever played.
I downloaded the free demo and now I'm begging my mom for it!!!!!!!!!

i love this game. i have hours of fun making schools and classrooms. i used to hate my principle and my teachers.now im in control. you can have more than 40 buildings(you cant have 50)but who cares 40 is a big number. and you can see your students learning or making trouble. you can do ANYTHING you want because.....YOUR IN CHARGE DUH!!!!!! and you have allot of tools to choose from. overall its sooo fun.

My family and I love this game.If you would like too be a principal you should DEFINETLY get this game.I spend almost all my time playing this game.This game will let you build from port-o-pottys,to ROLLERCOASTERS!This game would be one of the best games you could possibly be able to buy.You can create new students such as bullies to cheerleaders.You can also fire staff and read the newspaper.There is also a panel you can click on that will let you make tornados,hurricanes,and earthquakes.so if you are into games that will let you rule places this game is definetly for you.I am positive anyone who buys this game will like it.

so neat ! really cool game!

ok I don't see how this got only 3 stars I played it 4 like EVER it is one of the coolest games to ever come out don't believe the bad things that other people say because 99.9% of the the time amazon.com is giveing you a product that is high quality and this game qualifies buy it you will not be dissapointed :)

I brought this at a school bookfair and it looked vary fun. Well I was right it is. When you first start out your school as pretty bad matrial such as soda machines cheap class rooms and port o pottys. But as the game goes on you can get better stuff so don't think after 20 minuits this game is stupid. You can also make stuff in school like you have never done before like put in arcades skate parks glof courses and roller costers. Another funny thing is that you can hire theacers that can't teach your students anything. Over all good buy I hope they make school tycoon 2.

I bought this game at Target for 10 bucks and I don't regret it.
First off the game had great graphics and had great scenary. But the game also had its owns but they were exceptiblr. You start with mobile classroms which gets annoying but after that its great. One thing that I excpected that was left out though was more active work in the school and just not hiring and firing teachers and building classrooms. But other han that excellent.

I got this game with a tycoon pack. I love all the tycoons! And this one is so coool! There are a couple of down things about the game but it is sooooo fun. you can make a dream school, hire teachers create students. and you get so many choices for what to buy. If you have extra money go to the store and buy school tycoon. Its a great game!
