This time school is fun!

I got this game yesterday at school. When I started to play it, it was so fun. The fetures are great you don't accutaly get to make the buildings, but the all ready made ones are still neat. You can make a school in the city, the farm lands and even in Hollywood! There are pree made students, but you can also made new students.

There are only 2 things I don't loke about this game is some time you get bankrupt if a tornado hits or if your money gets in the negetives. The other thing I don't like is when big storms hit like hurricanes, earth quakes and tornados becaus e they wreck your buildings and make you lose money. But other wise any of that stuff the game is great! I think yo should get this game and all the other tycoon games!

This game is o.k. It was o.k. because there was always kids goofing off. Now that was not a problem. There is a tornado once every like 10 minutes. You can make students go to the nurse,go to detention or even you can expel tham. It takes me 10 minutes every time to get to the game so watch out.

More frustrating than fun

School tycoon frustrates you more than entertain. First of all, the good things:

Graphics - Very nice graphics, the people in the game have clear features, the buildings are 3-D, the ornaments are nice....just the overall graphics are great.

Instant Play - The game allows you to start from scratch and build your school however you want it. You usually have to beat all of the challenges in other tycoon games before you can build your own scenario however you please.

The bad things:

Challenges: The first ones are so easy they are boring, however the only good thing about them is that you can keep playing after you beat them. The last challenges are way too hard and almost impossible to beat.

Money: You literally run out of it soooo fast. You can't really do anything because you either go bankrupt very quickly or you run out of time before your bank can mature.

Speed: I doubt it was my computer because i have never had problems with other tycoon games, but the scenarios take a long time to load. Once your school is too big, it gets VERY slow.

Statistics: Very hard to control. You can have all of the right things and the people will still be very hard to please.

Overall the game is ok. Good things to it, entertaining at times, but for the most part you get frustrated very fast and forget its supposed to make you have fun.

I have played the game many times and think overall it is good such as;
the hiring and firing
the buildings are amazing, my school doesn't have an arcade :(, wish we had.
I like the freak weather
I liked the detention rooms, dramatic or wat!

room for improvement;
the school days aren't long enough i don't think
when you get a bankrupcy warning you don't get enough time and i think you should be able to get a loan and pay it back weekly
not enough choice of features for me
the newspaper release is the same all the time and it get abit boring when you have made the school because once you have got everything there is nothing else to do
The game is good though
BUY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!

My family and I love this game.If you would like too be a principal you should DEFINETLY get this game.I spend almost all my time playing this game.This game will let you build from port-o-pottys,to ROLLERCOASTERS!This game would be one of the best games you could possibly be able to buy.You can create new students such as bullies to cheerleaders.You can also fire staff and read the newspaper.There is also a panel you can click on that will let you make tornados,hurricanes,and earthquakes.so if you are into games that will let you rule places this game is definetly for you.I am positive anyone who buys this game will like it.

I brought this at a school bookfair and it looked vary fun. Well I was right it is. When you first start out your school as pretty bad matrial such as soda machines cheap class rooms and port o pottys. But as the game goes on you can get better stuff so don't think after 20 minuits this game is stupid. You can also make stuff in school like you have never done before like put in arcades skate parks glof courses and roller costers. Another funny thing is that you can hire theacers that can't teach your students anything. Over all good buy I hope they make school tycoon 2.

If your hoping for a fast paced game then you might as well put this back on the shelf. This game has decent graphics and fun gameplay but the game slows down constantly and it takes an hour to load. It's impossible to get your morale up to an A because it drains your money and you can't loan from the bank. The game has it's flaws and it's break-throughs, and its pros and cons, but its not what i expected. I thought that you could get thousands of students to your school after a few months, like real life, but it's hard to even get one-hundred. If your planning to get this for your child or for yourself, your computer better be fast.

i love this game. i have hours of fun making schools and classrooms. i used to hate my principle and my teachers.now im in control. you can have more than 40 buildings(you cant have 50)but who cares 40 is a big number. and you can see your students learning or making trouble. you can do ANYTHING you want because.....YOUR IN CHARGE DUH!!!!!! and you have allot of tools to choose from. overall its sooo fun.

I loved this game! You make your different classrooms as seperate buildings. Also, you can put luxury places in, from Cafe's and pizzarias, to detention centers and teachers lounges.
This was one of the best games I have ever played.
I downloaded the free demo and now I'm begging my mom for it!!!!!!!!!

When I first got this game I was really excited. It's a great idea and, if done right, it could even be my favorite game. But it wasn't. The main reason for this is that in this game, natural disasters (earthquakes, fires, tornados) strike your school about every three or four days. They wreck some of your buildings and you have to give tons of money to replace them. There seemed to be no way to save money. You would think that there would be some option where you could turn disasters off, but I didn't see one, and there's no other way to prevent them. I found myself getting very frustrated and having to reconstruct my school again and again. I would not get this game.
