If you want a school, with everything, skateparks, roller coasters, Pizzerias, burger stands, mini-golf courses, and even a go-cart track, this is the game for you! Believe it, or not, there is also a little education thrown in(for the students in the school, not you). One problem is that you can easily go bankrupt and it's hard getting things like the roller coaster. Buy this! Have a lot of fun!

ok I don't see how this got only 3 stars I played it 4 like EVER it is one of the coolest games to ever come out don't believe the bad things that other people say because 99.9% of the the time amazon.com is giveing you a product that is high quality and this game qualifies buy it you will not be dissapointed :)

When I bought this game, I thought it would be a lot more fun. Yeah, sure, its somewhat entertaining, but its not what you would expect. The graphics are OK, but not great. The game is just kind of weird, because one day you are at the highest level to buy new rooms, and the next day, you have no money and have the absolute worst school rooms and facilities. I would recommend it, but not very highly. It is challenging, and if you like games like that, School Tycoon is for you!

PLEASE! This game would be a total blast if it wasn't for the difficulty. Personly, I expected it to be easy. The moral crises thing is stupid. It seems every month you are having to put more maitanence workers in to fix buildings. The worst part is that if you go bankrupt, you lose your school! There is always waaaaay to much litter and your janitors wil sometimes not clean it up even if they are put right in the middle of a sea of litter. A word of advice, you would be better off buying Rollercoaster Tycoon or Zoo Tycoon. School Tycoon would be for kids who are teenagers and have played lots of other Tycoon games first. It is very hard to get a really good teacher and even if their strictness is only 1, kids will say"My teacher is WAAAAY strict!" Please remember this review when you next going to buy a Tycoon game.

The concept of this game is good and I think this would be a good game if it is developed well with better gameplay/gamesystem. When I see this game on the Game Store, I thought it's fun to build my own school and be the headmaster managing all the school staff there. I bought this game and played it on my weekend.

After the weekend ended, I found that this game wasn't so much fun. This game seems to be monotonous with its predefined game structure. It requires you to build some specific buildings before creating the others. This will make you build the same sequence of buildings in every game you play, even in Free Play mode. That's why everytime I observed my school when I completed each mission, it looks almost the same except its building position.

If there is any newer version of this game, I hope it doesn't come with predefined scenario on buildings.

you can't custimize the building

I got this game from my birthday and at first I thought is was amazing. I always asked a to use it. But after several weeks It became boring. overall it has a good concept and has fair grafics. But building the school is very limited.

pros: clear, yet cartoonlike graphics
personallity of the charecter is vivid and real
cool looking classrooms (besides the porable classrooms)

cons: all students, teachers, and principals look the same
too many disasters example: once I had hurriccane after hurricane continualesly
The students never leave they only will if they are explelled or leave the high school for some other reason
you can't build the classrooms. you can only place them
fields and clasrooms are unreal (the football field goes from the endzone to the 30 yard line to 50. or in the middle of the math classroom is a enlarged calculater.

I'd like it better if it weren't for one annoying glitch...

This game is pretty cool. The grapics are good, and so is the sound. I found it to be easy to get the hang of. Just build some baisic classrooms and hire some good teachers, wait for more money, build some more classrooms, ect. I could do without the disasters, though.

But I did find a glitch that's pretty annoying. After a while, the 'full screen classroom' button stops working. Now I can't go into the classroom to see what's going on.

Overall, this game is....so-so.

My kids 11 & 16 years old have loved playing School Tycoon. It is like a SIM City only you create a school! Hire teachers, fire them, and build cool places for your students to hang out. Cool graphics!

I got this game with a tycoon pack. I love all the tycoons! And this one is so coool! There are a couple of down things about the game but it is sooooo fun. you can make a dream school, hire teachers create students. and you get so many choices for what to buy. If you have extra money go to the store and buy school tycoon. Its a great game!
