I JUST GOT THIS GAME AND IT SAY IT IS LOADING AND PUT YOU BACK TO DESK TOP... SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT BUY

I bought this game on a whim because I am planning on being an architect when I grow up, and want to specialize with schools. I thought that you would get to design the buildings and place the desks and what-not, but all you do is place pre-made buildings once you've unlocked them by building other buildings, sometimes ones you don't need.

There are also way too many disasters. I realize that earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes happen in real life, but not as often as on the game. It's unrealistic.

The game is also unrealistic in that students can leave simply because they are bored, and they will never return. Also, whenever I build a mini golf course or a rollercoaster, none of the students play on them, which is very unrealistic, esp. for the money I've paid for that!

If you do buy the game, make sure that you get the cheat codes... otherwise, it's not that fun at all. I almost returned it before getting the codes. However, once you get the codes, it is enjoyable to play. I especially like creating myself and watching me going around to different classes.

I got the game at Wal-Mart for $10... try to buy it there; you'll save about $11.

I just got this game about 3 days ago and I was really excited to play it. But everytime i try to play the game it will open and it will say that its loading, but then after about 5 minutes of loading it will exit out of the game.

This computer game would be fun... If it didn't freze up every 3 min. I got this as a gift, and couldn't wait to play it, once I had gotten it installed I started to play. It takes awhile to unlock things, and you have a limited budget. You don't have much control over the people, you can send them to the nurse, give them detention, or expel them. After the first few minuets of playing this it froze up, after about a min. I could play again, but this kept happening, Which is why I gave it a 1.

I used to think THE SIMPSONS: HIT & RUN was the worst game (see the review that reads WHAT, NO OPTION TO GIVE IT 0?), but now I think differently.

The game often closes out on takeoff, and you have to click at the bottom of the screen to get it back on there. Then there's less time for the sound to end in the opening movie.

Unrealistic. All they ever do in the "Generic Gym" is jumping jacks. All they ever do in the "Basketball Gym" is shooting baskets continuously. And you lose a star rating just because of a natural disaster. The prices are also ridiculous.

This game lets you do little; the back of the cover says you can do more than you can, probably because it isn't specific.

What I like the least is that after a natural disaster strikes, the buildings look the same, but are out of maintainance. Avoid at all costs.

Not Zoo Tycoon!

My daughter (and I!) really enjoyed Zoo Tycoon, and all of it's verisons, so we decided to give this one a try. The graphics are so-so, the game controls are a little harder. Trying to keep up with natural disasters and student happiness is hard enough. Add to this the lack of adequate start-up capital, especially for open play games, and this becomes a much more difficult and frustrating game, especially for my 10-year-old.

This game does not work.Whenever you try to click on an object the computer freezes and will not respond. I didn't listen to the other warnings about this game, I paid $20 for it and I wasted my money. PLEASE LISTEN TO MY ADVICE DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

the idea is great School Tycoon its awesome. But for some reason it installed great but once i got it going it froze up my computer and i never go to play it.
