The only reason this product isn't 5 stars is because I had wished there had been ore than 4 students to talk to. You don't have to be afan of nancy drew books to love this game, I'll admit I've only read 2 or 3 of hers and found then rather blah, But this game was enticing I didfn't want to stop to go to sleep because I wanted to solve the mystery, Its hard and confusing but not so hard you want to give up in frustration, When I found out whodunit I couldn't believe it, but I won't ruin it for everyone You'll have to try it out for yourself. Its guarenteed hours of mystery solving fun!

Nancy Drew's 1st Mystery: A Success!

I love the Nancy Drew Games and this one, Secrets Can Kill, was a fun game but not the best of all of them.

It all starts when Nancy goes to Paseo Del High to investigate a murder. She has several lead suspects who include Hal, Connie, Hulk, and Daryl. I don't want to give anything away but the suspect is who you would least suspect!

This game had several errors that bothered me. First of all the two discs which everyone complains about. It wasn't too bad but it seemed you always have to switch discs at really important parts and it got sort of annoying. Second, the graphics were not as great as some of the more recent games but that totally makes sense knowing that this game was made back in 1998.

I didn't think that this game was all that short as everyone says it is. Maybe it was because I wasn't as good of a gamer when I purchased it, I don't know. I would probably reccomend this for beginners along with Haunted Carousel, which is pretty simple. Some parts in this game I didn't like for example all of the posters and little puzzles. They added a fun feel but they make you think that they are extremely important in the mystery, which they are not. I also disliked those long blocks of times when you get stuck, and nobody has anything else to say to you until you find that one clue that triggers their answers.

I do reccomend this game, along with all the others. If you do this one first, then all of the others will be getting better and better. Enjoy the game! Case closed.

Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill is a killing of a game!

This game is very addictive. You start out with an opening sequence showing that a high school student (jake Rogers) has been murdered, and it's up to you to find out who did it. You meet several characters who all had connections with Jake in some sort of way. There are tons of clues to help you. What I liked about this is that you don't HAVE to solve every single little word puzzle in the game to beat it. This is challenging for kids and adu;ts alike and definitely worth the money.

Okay now I'm a big fan of Nancy Drew games and books. I have all of them and beat them all but one. But this game is nothing to brag home about. It was fun.
Pros:
Good plot
Not that hard

Cons:
It kept locking up on my PC
The caraters are cartoon like
2 CDs

If you don't mind re-starting your PC and always bending over to put the CD in every 5 mins than I think you might like this game. If you do than you might want to buy someth8ing else with your [$].

A Sister Game

my sister and i bought this game in a skeptival mood. Well we were wrong. We played this game together, laughing, talking, working for 2 days only pausing for like 8 hours of sleep. The clues that where in every spot were hard to see and at the smae time obvoius. In short you had to think. The game is 3-d interactive so you can revolve in a circle, talk to people, even use a pay phone to call for clues, pizza, jakes locker and also one more funny hint-you have a phone card with a number call that number. the thing that happins is the funniest thing in the computer game world. this game is so big it has two disks. oh yeah, another cool perk is when you talk to people you have choices of 4 or 5 things to say and whatever you say has a reverse effect. you can even die! But it is not bloody so little kids can play it (although it is way hard). In the end this was a fun, cool, game that brought my sister and i closer together and i WILL get the next one.

I was extremely disappointed with this game. First of all, it didn't take very much time at all to play. The package claims that the program has 20+ hours of game play but I finished it in about six hours. The ending of it was pathetic. It was way too easy to catch the bad guy. I also thought that the graphics weren't very good at all. And the program has two cds and you have to keep switching back and forth between the two and I found that to be really annoying. I'd only recommend this game to the die hard fans who have to own everything with Nancy Drew's name on it.

This is my favorite game of all time! It is great for girls who want a game that is challenging but not too difficult. It's wonderful for all ages, because it lets you adjust the level of difficulty. At times it can be difficult, but once you've solved the mystery, it's well worth the wait. Out of all the games I've ever played, this is the absolute best!

Secrets Can Kill

Secrets Can Kill is a great game. I love the entire Nancy Drew computer game series. Even though many people don't think this is such a great one compared to all the others, with the updated features and graphics, I still love this one because it's the first classic one and it's so much fun. Nancy's first case takes her to Florida where there has been a murder committed at the local high school. As Nancy Drew, you can explore different buildings, interrogate suspects, and pick up clues. Along with all the other games in the series, this is a game that's fun and challenging but not TOO difficult, and it's not bad or violent. I love Nancy Drew and mysteries, so I was so thrilled when Her Interactive came out with this series a few years ago, and I have collected all the games since! I love this game, and I did not regret getting it.
