It was quite confusing to me, and all the people kept leaving the zoo and becoming sad. And then you had to take care of the animals and they were always sad. I think the funnest part of this game was building the zoo. After that it was boring and pretty downright stupid. But, hey, if you don't agree with me, that's fine, because I was pretty clueless. I just think you should get a little more information before choosing to buy this. Trust me, it won't be worth your time.

This game is great. Since i have quite a lot of time on my hands, I play this all the time. I also like the fact that you can get mermaids and unicorns along with the animals. Even though this game is outdated, it's still very fun in my eyes. Now if only I had Zoo Tycoon 2...
I really liked it when I forst got it. But it gets old fast.

Not much longevity in this game. My 3 year old loves it now tho. I played it for a year maybe. Then it made it to my looking to trade pile , before reinstalling for my son.

FIRST OFF, THE GRAPHICS IN THIS GAME ARE AWESOME. SECOND THE ANIMALS ARE GREAT!!!. HIRING ZOO KEEPERS, MARINE BIOLOGIST AND OTHER PEOPLE TO MAKE YOU ANIMALS HAPPY IS SO MUCH FUN!!!! THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THAT MOST OF THE DINOSAURS (FOR ME ANYWAY) ARE ALLWAYS GRUMPY, AND WHEN YOUR ANIMALS ARE GRUMPY YOUR GEST GET GRUMPY, AND THIS IS NOT GOOD. YOU CAN OWN THE MOST AWESOME ANIMALS, SUCH AS PANDAS, POLAR BEARS, AND TIGERS. AND MANY OTHERS.
SO TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER AND GO BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!!

My opinion is since I have this game is to buy it. Also this game is not the best if you think it is. After awhile, it gets boring and the scenarios are pretty good but the game itself is excellent over all. I woule reccomend this game to anyone who is interested in this type of games. If you are not you are looking at the wrong game.

i would say definetely at first that zoo tycoon expansion pack was a blast at first! i mean the orcas..t-rexs...the lions...it was all so cool. it was so cool! it was really fun until later on it became..a little boring..and right now its rpetty boring. ive owned the game for about...lets see..a year and three months about...im not definete or sure. but yeah zoo tycoon expansion pack is prety cool. .. . . . at first.

When you first purchase this item you get an an awsom expierience yet you know little of all the unlockables, I know little of the unlockables, so you have to check out a cheat website. If you are new to the tycoon world then this is you're game, so when you start playing this game you realize I WANT ANOTHER TYCOON!!!!!!!!!!!! So you buy another tycoon and get bored of this Zoo Tycoo. I'd know.

This is a game that my husband and I like to play together. We have learned a lot about animals, their habitats, how to meet peoples needs, manage money, and even about the environment.
The scenarios can be played many times over in completely different fashion so it has great replay ability. I highly recommend this game

Though many label it as a kids game, I am 29 years old and I enjoy playing it on my free time. Just trying to create the perfect zoo and solve the problems you face is a great stress buster! Plus its a great game to share with all the family.
