If you are into Simulation games, (Roller Coaster Tycoon, The Sims, The Sims 2), then you will LOVE this game. Since it's an older game the graphics aren't great, but the gameplay is awesome. There is a nice variaty of animals since you get the Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs Expansion packs included. It's a lot of fun and very addicting.

I REALLY ENJOY TYCOON GAMES WHERE I HAVE HANDS ON IN EVERY BUILDING ASPECT OF THE GAME. ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THERE IS LIMITED SPACE. AFTER YOU USE IT UP THATS IT!

Parents. Please save yourself the aggrivation and hours of time on the phone with Microsoft if you are trying to put this game on an HP Pavillion. My new HP Pavillion has 2 gig memory and all the bells and whistles that should play circles around this game but it crashes between 4 - 20 minutes every time my daughter tries to play it. It works wonderfully on my Dell, Windows XP machine, although she can't play it on its highest settings. After many hours of speaking to a nice man in India, I have opted to return the computer. That's how much my daughter likes the game.... just be aware it won't work on all computers.

Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection

My daughter had Zoo Tycoon (1 & 2) but the complete collection includes the dinosaur pak as well. She is 9-1/2 and thoroughly enjoys the game. Her friends come over to play and they spend hours designing the zoo grounds, watching animals adapt and multiply. They enjoy the "natural evolution" of the animals as they add attractions. The game installed easily over the former versions within minutes and was easy to learn with excellent on-screen tutorials. I'm not a computer game or video game enthusiast but found myself delightfully engaged! Great game that teaches thinking and planning skills - and is just darn fun!

I had been a fan of other simulation games and worked as an intern in a real zoo, so when Zoo Tycoon came out I knew I had to have it. I put off buying it and then came Dino Digs and Marine Mania. I wanted them all but didn't want to pay for each one seperately. I am now glad I was soooo cheap. Not only have they combined Zoo Tycoon with all of its expansion packs but they have added bonus materials. This is the ultimate combo pack of simulation games. I whole heartily recommend this to any simulation game fan.

I love this game!! I bought the original Zoo Tycoon after seeing an ad in a magazine and absolutely loved it. With new scenarios and animals, the game stays interesting. I can make the game as easy or difficult as I want it to be....and I've learned so much about the animals. Imagine; a game that is fun and educational at the same time.

I loved this game so much! It's great for anyone who likes animals, theme parks, or decorating areas. I love this game because you can adopt animals, name them, and watch them in their habitats. In this collection of Zoo Tycoon, you can also adopt pre-historic dinosaurs and marine animals! You build your park from a raw piece of land, choosing where the soda machine goes to where you want to have your cinema! The only reason why I didn't give this game five star was because the animal information wasn't completely correct. Most of it is correct, but some isn't. If you want to learn about animals, pick up a good book or look them up on the internet. This game is fantastic! Lots and lots of fun, great for all ages!

This game rocks! When I first played the game it was a little confusing. But when I played more it got easier. One flaw was that unhappy guests dont always tell you why they are upset. There are cheats that you find online that help you get more money. But some cheats shut your game down so you cant play anymore! That happened a couple times to me but you learn! I hope my review helped!

My 9 year old son loves this game. It is similar to SimCity, the child designs their own zoo. This is a rather brainy game and the child learns about the interaction between the animals needs to thrive, the financial needs of the zoo to provide for the animals, and the needs of the visitors to encourage their return trips. Our son loves it, when he realizes that his design is failing he sometimes lets the dinosaurs loose! That definitely adds excitement! Evidently it is not for all children, we got a few extra to give out as gifts. The other children did play it but I guess it didn't have enough action for them.

A great game for kids who enjoy creativity.
