EXCITING! CHALLENGING! Just plain FUN!!!

WOW! Truly a underated, but a thrilling adventure into the heart
of Iraq. Let me give ya da lowdown: Basically, a squad (4 dudes)
using wicked (realistic 1991 guns) to completly BLOW UP! the Iraqi army (HA, HA.) 1 SNIPER, 1 MACHINE GUNNER, 1 RIFLEMAN, and 1 DEMO GUY. My favorite part (boy, thats hard!) is the ability to use copied songs on the game. So while I snipe Saddam, I can be Jammin with POD! Even thogh the game is only semi-challenging,
it requires a certain skill.(This is'nt the game where U run around like a chicken with it's head cut off, shooting any old place.)U also (in 2 levels) can use a vehicle. A Bradely and a humvee. It's A TON of fun! A TOW missle is just spectacular looking going at 100 mile per freaking hour into a T-72! Also, any placed machine guns or AAA guns can be used by U. Now, the bad: Only 15 short levels. Only 2 levels with vehicles. And the cheats BITE! Not to mention the AI for your team is bad to say the least. If you leave them on their own on hard, it gonna be bad. Final word:) Certainly worth the money. Fun, and a heck of a COOP game on multiplayer. Buy it!

I'll admit i was excited about this game when i first played it....overall its a good but not great game....the graphics could be better and more realistic great war game but has its ups and downs training mode could be better especially if u look at your commander and he is talkin and his mouth isnt moving faces are kinda sluggish pretty good selection of weapons...needs more game modes and also it is kinda short ending is dull and the selection of guys to pick are the same i dont see the difference in them same people but i guess a diff flag...easy to get a hang of if u go through training mode better if u had someone else to play with

First of all, in not 12, I'm actually 13, I just forgot my Amazon Password so I'm using thing under 13 review thingy.
Conflict: Desert Storm has the most adventure that anyone will see in a shooter game so far.

Pros:
*Rated "Teen" so your parents might get it for you.
*A variety of weapons, including rocket launchers and snipers.
*Realistic Gameplay.
*You can play 4-player missions, which in my opinion, is the best part of the game.
*A real challenge for anyone who likes challenges.
*You can duck, crawl, zoom, climb, and dodge.
*There is C4 so you can blow stuff up!

Cons:
*Only 15 levels?
*This game is a real challenge for anyone who doesn't like challenges.
*Not a very interesting main story.
*If you run out of ammo then you are [out of luck].

Overall, this is one of the best games out for XBOX.
Don't rent it.............Buy it!

If you like a good war game that involves lots of action, then this is the game for you. From straight up soilder to soilder conflicts to soilder to T-42 tanks battles. This is one of the best action games that I have ever seen,(just 1/10 shy of being as good as HALO). If this game had multiplayer head-to-head deathmatches then it would be just as good, if not better. You don,t get to kill Saddam but you still kill plenty of foreign language speaking people. The graphics of the levels is flawless, from sandstorms across the screen, to kicking up sand when you run.
The two bad things that I seen was, on the 4 player game, if too much action occurs, the game be sluggish. And the humvee isn,t true 4-wheel drive. But thats just minor. Lets see here. different guns to shoot, 2 vechicles to drive, plenty of Iraqis to kill, night vision.... just buy the game so maybe they,ll make another one.
If you like action...BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Desert Storm 2?

After playing Halo for a year any other game is well, just a game. I rented DS and liked it from the start. I say this dispite the fact the controls stink. The mess you have to go through to choose another weapon is tough, esecially when you are in battle. I enjoyed the ability of controling the other soldiers. It's a good concept and if the makers could assign a single button for weapon select it would be much better. I also like listening to my own music while I play so the soundtrack feature is cool. Rent it first, then if you can stand the controls have fun.

i am a soldier in iraq right now and my wife sent me this game at first i thought it would be [bad]. but when four if us started to play it was. awsome. i think it is one of the best games that i have played on xbox yet. the mission were chalenging but not imposible. we could use read squad tactics in the game that we use in real life here in iraq. i recomend this game to anyone who like multiplayer games.

Unfortunately another game that does not take advantage of what could be done on the xbox (that's why I bought the xbox to begin with). The graphics are not very clear or realistic and actually very simple.

This otherwise is a great game that is worth buying even at full price, full of several fun action filled levels that really hold your interest. Weapons are fun to use and numerous, and the storyline is fun as well.

A shame that this game would not look any different if played on playstation.

This game looked great.Going through warzones with cool weaponry and some driveable vehicles here and there.I then bought this game and this is what a realized:the graphics are outdated looking,the aiming is horrible,the team commanding is not that fun(you feel like you barely even have a team.)Also the bullets look like lazers going across the screen.This also looked cool because you could be SAS and Delta Force:the only difference was SAS had British accents, and Delta Force had American.

I would recommend SOCOM II or Ghost Recon over this bad.

i love this game. it is one of the best military games out there. if you have a friend or two this game will keep you hooked. in the games you control four guys and do missions in i raq. it is kind of short and you can beat in a day or two but it is still fun.
