Great Snowboarding Game

Amped follows the line of snowboarding games that originated back on PS1 with "coolboarders" and its progeny. It is NOT like those "arcade-style" snowboarding games like SSX Trickey or Dark Summit. OK, sure, it stretches the limits of reality; but it's more reality based than other snowboarding games.
It also has a soundtrack edit. In other words, you can record songs on your x-box and play them back over the game. It's pretty cool to be playing this game while your favorite tunes are playing in the background. If enjoy snowboard games, but you don't like the weird arcade-ish stuff, this is a game for you.

This game has awesome graphics and stunning abilities. It is one of my favorite games on X-Box (besides Halo). It doesn't actuall teach you anything besides to tear it up on the slopes!!! Final examination: Snow + rail tearing = Amped

This game a very true to life. I snowboard alot during the winter, so I know what its like. The tricks are real, not like ssx tricky. The amount of air you get is actually true, Pros can really go that high, and bust those tricks.
Pros:
Realistic
great tricks
really fun

Cons:
multiplayer stinks.

by far the best game I've ever played. My roommates will attest to this as they have stayed up many nights/mornings til 4am playing this game. Its not something you will master over night and there enough challenges along the way to keep it fun. the graphics are great and there is mild distortion in some cases, but you really need to put the game to the test to get that to happen. a MUST for any XBOX owner!!

Amped is the best snowboarding game out right now. The graphics kick, the controls are revolutionary and it's fairly realistic, whatever you do don't use the cheats it will ruin the game.

This game is pretty awesome, but not the best. It could be better in the graphics department, but all the same it is pretty cool. DON'T get this game mixed up with SSX Tricky!!! I dont have SSX but I do have a friend w/ it and it is only for kids/non-snowboard fun freaks. (freaks being a good word in that sentence) If u want a real snowboarding game or ur kid wants one dont let anyone fool u. this is real and ssx is arcade. i have had it since christmas and have gotten to the snow summit rite after slopestyle. (i forgot what it was called) It is a lot of fun but doesnt have a difficulty setting so your gonna want to consider that. Other than that it is a lot of fun and even more fun with cheats. This and Halo are by far my favorites.

To be honest, I wasn't to crazy about Amped Snowboarding. Then my brother bought it. Now, I am totally addicted. After I've beaten Halo, Amped is the only thing I play. The career mode is awesome. The graphics stunning. Nice music. Really the only bad thing is the trees you run into. This game is a must buy to the extreme sports fan Xbox owner.

This game is simply the best Snowboarding game on the market because of it has superior graphics to it's competition and the deepest snowboarding gameplay on the planet. Not only does it offer this, it has a huge soundtrack of top quality indy music and the option of using your own custom ripped soundtrack.

This game is the SSX Tricky killer. Why? Amped is a simulation game and it more closely captures what snowboarding is without the over the top and unrealistic gameplay of SSX.

Amped is one of the best games on the XBOX. . . period.
