Wickedly amazing. Fantastic game

The freedom to move anywhere on the huge, fanstastically detailed mountains make the game worth buying. The tricks, soundtrack and snow effects are gravy. I really wish it supported simultaneous multiplayer ( especially across xbox's ) but its still good.

I'm almost 40 and have never snowboarded in my life -- although I was almost killed by one once! So I got this game for my 7-year old son to see if he'd like it, and we just spent a nice afternoon playing it. But my first reaction to all the "stoner" dialog was, "Great, now he's going to want to wear baggy pants around his knees and start every sentence with 'Dude'!"

Graphically, the snow effects and the physics are quite good. But inexplicably, the fonts used in the menus suck so bad I could hardly read them on my HDTV. Amped has by far the worst menu interface of any of the 10 Xbox games we have, and as a software designer who prefers skiing to 'boarding, that'll cost Amped a couple of stars.

This game is the best snowboaridng game on xbox this game has wonderful graphics on it and has over 40 real snowboarding sponsers and the game has great details in it if you like snowboarding get this game on the xbox.

It is so fun it is to fun I would buy it it has great graphics it is fun for all ages Fun for hours and Hours it is the best game eaver made from a company and is for two players

Amped is pretty good, with a cheat code, its possible to get reasonable scores. It takes a while to get the hang of though. The graphics in this game are the best! crystal clear. The only problem is that the mountains dont last very long, like they did in SSX. But over all this game is fun. buy it!

This game was a good game and i love snowboarding even more now!!

I like how you have scout people look at your tricks and stuff but over all i would say this game is in the top 10 for x box (halo is obviously number 1!!!

It would be a smart thing by the producers if they came out with amped 2 because lots of people love snowboaring... if you love snowboarding buy this game and if you don't well then atleast rent it. You will be surprised!!

This game is pretty cool. It uses the Xbox's soundtrack feature (lets you rip music cds and listen to them during the game) and has well over 15 places to go freestyle snowboarding. It has a multiplayer for up to four people (you don't even have to have four controllers to play four player. after you input the names you can all share a single controller or two, because it lets you board in turns, not at the same time).
It also lets you customize your boarder with many many accessories such as DRAGON clothes.
If you like snowboarding games this is a must have!

This is a fun boarding game with great music. The runs are great with lots of jumps and rails (still trying to figure out the rails though). I have two girls 8 & 5 who also love this game and have even beaten me at it! Even if you don't score a lot of points it is still fun just boarding down the mountian! My girls think it is especially funny to see dad do a major wipe out into a tree or ski lift pole! My only complaint is that I wish more runs were open for those of us who just want to board down the mountain and are not interested in competing for a high score!

This game is challenging at first, which makes it all the more rewarding as you get acclimated. For $ in the platinum hits line, Amped will provide hours of fun at a bargain price. If you're not sure, take a gamble on this one. You'll be glad you did.
