How Nancy Started Solving Mysteries

This is a fun game with many nods at the early Nancy Drew books. My daughter and I have fun playing ND games together and this sparked a lot of conversation about dinosaurs such as party lines and telegrams. Had it's fun moments like the putt putt course and good graphics like the inside of the shed but I didn't think it was as challenging as Blackmoor Manor(20 not 25 hours of play)and the secret passageway was disappointing after the elaborateness of some of the other secret passageways like Deception island or Blackmoor Manor. Fun but liked the longer game.

not just for kids...

I am addicted to Nancy Drew games and this latest entry does not disappoint. I've played 10 out of 12 of them and they just keep getting better. Oh yeah, I'm 34 and these games are challenging to an adult so don't be scared off that they will be too juvenile.

Nice setting, but a bit dull

My daughter Charlotte is 12 years old and a huge fan of the Nancy Drew books. She loves the computer games too and has all the titles released so far. She was keen to get this one too, but was slightly disappointed when it arrived. The main problem was that it was too easy. She finished it the first day she played it, whereas she normally takes about three days or more. Some of the settings were nice, and she liked the crazy golf and being able to drive Nancy's car, but she thought that the ending was far too abrupt, and far too tame.

The best game yet.

I play this game with my 12 year old child. We play in Junior Detective mode. We never got stuck during this game where we need to look for help. There were many interesting puzzles to solve. She really enjoyed driving around town and playing mini golf. There were no frustrating moments when we were unable to do anything and she never got bored. We have played all of the Nancy Drew games and this one was particularly fun.

A nice game

Secret of the Old Clock is a bit different than the other Nancy Drew games. It is set back in the '30's and you actually get to drive the car and make and spend money. This game is a little easier than some of the other games. It will work well for younger school age children.

Great Nancy Drew game

This game is a great game for girls 11-18. Each of my three girls loved it. I am glad it is non-violent. The brain puzzles are nicely challenging for all ages. It takes the 18 year old much shorter time to solve the whole game than the 11 year old! Plus it is great for enhancing reading skills for my 11 year old. Can't wait for another new one.

fun but slightly childish

This game was fun to play however many parts of it are childish, however few children would be able to solve the puzzles. The puzzles in the first part of the game are simple but some of them towards the end are impossible without the walkthrough. I would still suggest this this to adventure gamers, the format is simple to use and easy to follow.

Way too short

This game is fun. but not as fun as the rest of the nancy drew games. this game took me only 2 days to pass. my favorite is still last train to blue canyon. very short, very few people to talk to, very easy as well, compared to 3 other games i've played.

I'm not sure what they were thinking. I've played five of the Nancy Drew games and this one was significantly and very noticeably short compared to the others. Otherwise, a fun game.

WOW this game i would have to say hits the top 5 of all my games.( trust me i have alot!) It was so fun and colorful. It was very creative and interesting. There were alot of puzzles! They were practicly coming out of your ears. Also there was alot of excitment and there were lots for you to do. You never felt Oh man there is nothing to do. The best part was sneaking around under tunnels to find things. So I would have to say this is my fav. One more thing. If you are into scary games like blakmoor or crystall skull and feel that all the other none scary games are boring than dont get this game!
