The Dogs Will Lead the Way

Hounded by a pack of shadowy dogs, a dreamy summer cabin at Moon Lake becomes a nightmare for Nancy Drew! The lake's residents tell tales about a notorious gangster who lived there long ago with his beloved pets. Are the dogs still protecting his secrets? They're getting closer; should Nancy run for her life or risk their bared fangs in her search for the truth? Once a hideout for a notorious gangster, this lakeside cabin may hold clues to his villainious past. There is nothing modern about Moon Lake. Rely on old-fashioned sleuthing skills to solve its mysteries. Listen closely in the forests and fields as you sniff out clues. You may hear the answer in a bird's distant call. Hidden deep below the sunnny skies and crystal-clear lake are dark caverns where secrets are safe from prying eyes. Folks living around Moon Lake seem friendly, but someone's hiding a secret behind that down-home hospitality. P.S If you need help with this game, please post a review titled "Dear Nancy," I will try to respond as soon as possible but please be patient and check every day. I can't give you any direct answers as it would spoil it for other people. I hope to hear from you soon!:)

Ghost Dogs was a great game. You get to do several things, some frightning. It is puzzling and takes a lot of thinking so you must act fast! In this game Nancy goes to see her friend Sally at Moon Lake. But once Nancy gets there, Sally is gone because she says so called "ghost dogs" are haunting her. Nancy must act quick and figure out if this is a houx or are there real gho-o-o-o-s-s-st dogs. *Gulp* This game is amazing and as well as the main story line, there are many other small activities such as bug hunting, helping the shop owner, and working in the ranger station. I'd reccomend this game to anyone, boy or girl, any age! My friends have played these games too! I'd also reccomend the other games: Secrets Can Kill, Stay Tuned For Danger, Message In The Haunted Mansion, Treasure in The Royal Tower (My personal favorite) and Secret of The Scarlet Hand. Another case solved with Nancy Drew! Happy Sleuthing!

Fun, but too quick

My 10-year-old and I played this game after playing all of the previous Nancy Drew games. It has great graphics, an interesting plot, and challenging puzzles. The one drawback was that we finished it WAY too quickly, unlike the last two games. We're looking forward to the next installment and hope that it lasts longer than this one! That said, we would both recommend this game, with the caveat that you should play it in Senior Detective mode to make it last longer.

I have played all of the nancy drew games with much delight and have throughly enjoyed all of them...except this one. there are so many puzzels to uncover (Most of which have nothing to do directly with solving the case) i ended up feeling like i was taking an online exam in maya history rather than playing a nancy drew detective game.
Now i have nothing against puzzels , i throughly enjoy solving them, but i do feel as though it has been "over done" on this game, couple that with also having to keep going back to find answers to further questions from the museum aisle. which are not the most easy to get around (in my opinion.)Also i must say that i did not find the spinning pointer helpful when it hit the edge of the screen and takes you against your will on a 360 degrees tour to be useful when i wanted to stop moving.
I quickly began to tire of this game and the need to complete it which is a shame ... I look forward to the next nancy drew mystery. but this one i wouldnt recommend
Had this been the first game i bought i wouldnt have brought another one. luckily it was not.

Excellent!

This Nancy Drew Game, the Haunted Carousel was very exciting and I couldn't wait for it to come out. Three hours of game time, and I was done. I had solved the case, but not in the 25+ game time garunteed. I would have given it five stars, but it being so short I took off one star. I thought the characters were fun and some parts were really challenging such as using the lathe. My favorite characters were Joy and Miles, the riddles were great. I didn't really like how the cell phone would ring and naturally pop up, because sometimes it was in the middle of when I was planning to do something important. Overall though, it was a very fun game!!! I cannot wait until Danger on Deception Island. It sounds great and is coming as soon as October of this year!

Treasure in the Royal Tower= ONE OF THE BEST!!!

I am almost 13 years old and I LOVED THIS GAME!!!! The moment you start, you get to solve puzzles and learn a lot about Marie Antonette. The whole mystery is based about her and what happened to her. You get to do so much in this game from getting to go to a secret garden and even getting to sneak into a library that holds many secrets.

I have only played four Nancy Drew games and this is my favorite. The detail is so AMAZING and the graphics are great which many people are looking for these days. I recommend you get this one because you'll have so much fun and it is perfect for people who love doing detective work. It is full of surprises like never before. My friend and I played this one together and we were shocked at the end. 5 stars is perfect for this!

Arf! 5 billion stars!

One of my two tied favorite Nancy Drew games, this is a game for everyone. You, as Nancy, are visiting a friend, when two things happen- a tree falls behind your car, meaning you can't leave, and the friend insn't home. She calls from her car, but breaks up, leaving you to wonder just what she meant by Malone's dogs...

Basically, you need to figure out just what is going on with the ghost dogs. Are they real dogs, belonging to a cunning criminal? Or are they truly the dogs of a long dead ganster, trying to keep everyone away from his house-- the house you're staying in?

This game has many cool features such as some of the best graphics I've ever seen, calling friends (Bess and George) for tips, and a second chance feature that allows you to continue from right before you goofed.

I recomend this challenging game to anyone, boy or girl, kid or adult, who enjoys a good mystery and a minimal violence, educational-value game.

Fabulous Game!

This was a wonderful game! Hours of good, solid game play. An interesting mystery and intriguing characters. A chance to interact with aquatic life. I learned how to work a GPS and a HAM radio. It was so much fun. The puzzles were a good mix of ability-levels and types. Word puzzles, spatial puzzles, problem-solving ones. I can completely recommend this game.
