If you want a great racing game that makes great use of the "Wiimote", check "Carbon" out. It has a great story mode and the cars are fantastic. This is probably the best car line the NFS series has ever had. The graphics are really the only complaint I can possibly have but even those were surprisingly well done. I just can't stop playing this game, it's really on another level. I recommend it with full confidence that you'll have a great time. It's great for one on one gameplay.

ok everyone has been saying the controls are hard and wont respond to some. Ok if you stop turning the remote like a mad man and just take a second to acually see how easy it is to turn then ur set. Plus the only some what annoying fact about the game are the muscle cars because they have poor handling so dont pick them easy as that. Helpful hint to some use your Speedbreaker people it works wonders on the turns and saving alot of frustration in the end. Anyways great game, get it, have fun

Thats the bottom line, Need for Speed carbon is an extremely intense, challenging, and immersing game for the wii. At first, the controls seem very sloppy and difficult to maneuver but after just a race or two you really master it to the point where you can drive with excellent precision and ease (Its important to skip the muscle car class and focus on cars with higher handling points).

I couldn't imagine playing this game on anything other than the wii console simply because using the wiimote as your steering wheel really gets you into the game. The challenge to the races are very balanced although the boss races require you to drive with near perfection although you always can win after a few tries.

Overal a terrific, fun, and challenging game that I recomend for every wii owner. Its just a well done game that you will really get into and enjoy.

This is one of the best racing games i have ever played since i barely play any racing games. After 30 minutes, I got used to the controls real fast and easy with manual for the car. This game has an alright storyline, good graphics, real fun with racing your friends in multiplayer. Get this game if you need a racing game in your Wii collection. I highly recommend this game.

I was a big fan of Crusin USA on N64, and this game is very similar but with a modern Fast and the Furious edge.

I changed the control to style #5 and used the nunchuck control stick to steer and the wiimote as the accelerator - hold it horizon towards the TV - like a car gas pedal pressed down (pedal to the metal). With the controller like this, I am able to have great control over the car and have a lot of fun racing.

With that said, there are many different cars with lots of upgrades and ways to customize the cars to your specific driving habits and look and style.

There are many fun races, some are too dark (as they take place at night) and it is hard to see the next turn, but most races are very fun. There are short cuts in the different races. Also there are several different types of races. One bad part is that towards the end of the game, every race ends in a police chase, but over time you get more experience at avoiding getting "busted".

Finally, the game has a 2-player racing mode which is a lot of fun.
For all of these reasons, I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of racing games.

I just got the wii for christmas, and right away i bought this thinking
it would be fun.... I WAS RIGHT!! It is the best Wii game i have ever played! People who are saying it has poor control either onlyplayed the first scene, or chose a bad car. I suggest the mazda if you get the game. Best game ever!

if you can't drive, change the controls...

I've really enjoyed this game...once I figured out how to drive the car the best. You definetly need to check the controls options. I tried steering with the wii remote but just kinda got frustrated. I've learned over time how to control it in that mode but if you really want to just get at it, change the controls. There are options to use the thumbstick on the nunchuck and use the main controller as gas via tilting the remote. Also, as others have mentioned, the speedbreaker is great for taking the tight turns and the muscle cars have the WORST handling of all the classes.

I consider the game to definetly be worth it.

This game is awesome, if like the Need for Speed series, you will love this, if you like racing games, you will love this, if you have a Wii, get it, another great installment by the Need for Speed franchise

Carbon is a great game. Lots of different things to do and free roam is really fun. The controls are hard at first, but easy once you get them. And Graphics are a lot better than other NFS games. If you are thinking of getting most wanted, this has everything most wanted has and much more (including multiplayer). Overall here is what I think.
