this has got to be the best fighting game for the ps2 yet. There are 20 characters to unlock, many different types of fighting, and it destroys dead or alive 2. Oh and by the way, hworoang and lee chaolin are the best combo.

This is the most fun fighting game I've ever played. As a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, I love to play as Baek & Hworang in TKD Uniforms, as they are supposedly TKD stylists. I am trying to train myself to do some of thier combinations in real life for my next belt test. I also love to play as Bruce, because of his Muay Thai style of kickboxing. I have practiced that style too and it is very powerful. So I guess I understand the characters in the game, and they were very well done in respect to the martial arts style. If you have a playstation 2, buy this game. If you don't have a ps2, buy one and get this game. P.S. - I'm 19, so I'm young enough and skilled enough to attempt to kick like those characters. If you haven't practiced, YOU WILL HURT YOURSELF! If you like playing fighting games, you would probably like training in the martial arts too. So go take lessons. P.S. - Hworang means "flowering youth".

This is the best beat em up game ever realised. Its basically tekken 3 with all the characters from all 3 games. That plus the excellent graphics and the fun tag format which is great if you have the multi-tap makes this one of the best games ever. Although tekken ball and tekken force have been dropped there is a brand new game, Tekken Bowling to play.

If you have a playstation 2 buy this game today!

I must preface this review. If you own the second and third Tekken games, this one is not worth getting with Tekken 4 on the way. But on it's own, this is a very good game. One of the classic series in fighting games, it continues in this version. While the characters are the same and so are most of the moves, there are changes, which makesthis one of the best fighting games available. Great graphics, control, and tons of secret characters make this game a lot of fun and creates great replay value. Plus, it is awesome when going against your friends.

i have recntly played this game and im impressed its better than i thought. the control is great and the gameplay is fun and exciting, and the graphics ar excellent. I however was dissapointed that the ending scenes were only about 30 secs long.They do have a diff choice of costumes in the cutscenes but they are still all the same. the extra modes are mediocre. The hidden characters are wut u wanna get. This is the only reason i didnt give this a perfect score. This is a title u definetly wanna get if u want a great fighting game.

well i think this game is ok, but it could be a little harder and a little less cheap. the computer ripps you off way to much. I beat the game in about 5 days at 2 hours a day. So my advice is never buy this game(waste of (...) darn bucks). Dont even rent the stupid thing

i own about eight PS2 games, yet i only play one! TekkenTag is great, especially if you can convince a couple of friends to come over and play. rather than the usual one on one found in most fighting games the tag option will allow you can include up to four players, which is a blast. i wish all PS2 games were as entertaining as TekkenTag. also, the characters each offer an interesting challenge. even though a number of them seem to be repeated (ie the jacks), there a subtle differences that can make the difference between winning and being demolished. the graphics are enjoyable and the characters look great--i especially enjoy the variable costumes.

I have been playing Tekken since part 1. Tekken Tag is a vast improvement graphically. The backgrounds are stunning. There are tons of characters to choose from (Everybody from the previous Tekken Games)and new moves are added to each character, making the game cooler to discover secrets. The music gets you going when your playing the game and the tag team option is awesome giving you more of a chance to survive in a match. Overall I give this game 5 stars. Only thing that can outdo this game is Tekken 4 coming out in August!!!!! :)

I love the Tekken series, it's my favorite fighting series and the graphics keep getting better and better. The only problem is that the endings aren't FMV! Grr.. All that work to beat it and you aren't even rewarded with graphics! Or sound! It's the same song for all the endings. The only ending without that same song and that is actually FMV is Unknown's ending. Otherwise, it's a great game.

There is a variety of different fighting games, but the Tekken series is unmatched. Tekken Tag is the best in the series. If you like fighting games this is a must have game.
