Namco has done it again!!!!

Tekken Tag Tournament added a realistic edge to tag-team fighting games. Not to mention that the music is masterful. Fighting is more fluid this time around, and the practice system of actually viewing a move as a cut-scene before you do it has also been added. This is definately a good party game, or something you could play just to fill up some time in your day. A veeeery good way to fill time....

My Favorite Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is the coolest!I just got it and I spend 5 to 6 hours a day playing it.I unlocked tekken bowl yeasterday and it is the best feature of the game.the best bowlers for me are:jun, that cat lady,& lei.I tried Eddy once and he ain't that good of a bowler.the graphics will blow you away when you play this game!and guess what,YOU GET THE OLD CHARACTERS BACK!!!ain't it great!the only fault i have yet to find is there is no storyline so that is the only bummer.all in all,i like this game alot and you will too if you get ahold of it.:)

This is a great fighting game. So many charecters and ... loads of moves. Its a bit harder than tekken 3 which kinda was dissapointing cause now i cant kick everybody ... like i did. I dont really care for graphics but when i saw the backgrounds it was like eye candy, and i never felt that way about a games graphics.
Pros:
-beutiful graphics
-36 charecters
-lots of combos
-hot chicks
Cons:
-harder than TK3
-no one on one in arcade which is where u unlock all the charecters
-no easy,normal,hard settings
-enemys know all there combos off the bat
Still a great game

This game is very fun and I recommend it to anyone who likes the Tekken series. I have played all of them, and this is kinda in the middle. It definitely has great graphics, but it gets really boring after you beat it all.(I mean REALLY boring!) The tag team idea is really cool, and I like all the costumes and the stages, and the new moves, but you can beat most of it in about a day! All in all, it's a really cool game, but it might be best as a rental.

The Best (yes even better than VF4 and DOA3)

This is the best of all the fighter's. VF4 and DOA3 have better graphics BUT keep in mind that these games were released almost 2yrs after TTT so the better graphics are expected. All the fighters are back and they even have new moves. Some tag partnerships have special combos, throws, moves, and character warm ups. The action and recovery times are faster than DOA 3 and VF4. The controls are flawless and seem to take better advantage of the dual shock 2 than VF4 and XBOX's controller (DOA3), meaning I found it easier to "pick up n play" than the others and "mastering" the game seems not easier but more "natural" w/TTT than VF4 and DOA3. Also there are new difficulty settings so those of you mastered Tekken 3 on "hard" will soon be humbled. Every tekken gets better so you can just imagine tekken 4! Oh yeah keep in mind that TTT is not a sequel to tekken 3 so the wonderful endings (which happen to be rendered in real time) make no sense. I wonder why namco even put them in there at all.

Excellent game!

All Tekken fans this is a great game! The tag action is great and it was done very well and isn't choppy at all. Granted yes, they could have put in more tagging moves (like DOA Hardcore) but even so, the game is solid. It's a lot easier to do combos and for the most part. Most of your favorite characters got new moves and some of the best characters of Tekken's past were brought back such as: Jun, Bruce Irvin Kunimitsu and Baek.

Enjoy this game and Happy Gaming!

Without Tekken, why bother with PS2?

Although Tekken Tag Tournament doesn't have much value as a 1 person game (unless you find it difficult to analyze the computer's strategy), as a multi-player game it is the best I've seen so far for the PS2 system.

Similar to Tekken 2 & 3, TTT has a lot of extra little goodies (such as the bowling) that make it vastly superior. And that is not even digging into the superior graphics, the fact that it does not slow down when loaded by your idiot friend who likes to press as many buttons as possible in the least amount of time, the combined character numbers of Tekken 2 & 3... need I go on?

Amazing game

Over 30 characters, 15 stages, thousands of motion captured moves, realistic martial arts represented, Jackie Chan (Lei WuLong), Bruce Lee (Forrest Law)!

What else do you need? It combines real life martial arts with a proper amount of fantasy (True Ogre!).

Buy the game.

This was one of the first games that my wife and I brought for our Playstation 2 and I think it is one of the best. I had a hard time with it at first, but as I began to play more often I loved it. The "Survior" mode caught me. I am very competitive and wanted to be the number one survivor. When you get to additional fighters like "TrueOgre" and "Devil" you may not be able to put it down. I would not recomend this game for young children as the "teen" rating on this game is very appropriate. Buy it, you'll love it!

TTT is a fighter for any Martial Artist!!!!!!!!!

This is the first Tekken game that I have owned and it has to be the best fighting game that I have ever played!! I have played other fighters including Mortal Kombat 4, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, and Virtua Fighter and this game has to be one of the most realistic. The graphics and animation present smooth transitions from one move to the next allowing stunning combos to be performed without any slowdown! Nearly all of the characters martial arts styles are realistic in the techniques that they perform. I have been studying Tae Kwon Do for almost 10 years and I can relate to nearly all of Hworang's moves in the game. I recommend this to any PS2 owner that has a love of and respect for the martial arts!
