Me and my brothers love this game! Even my 6-year-old brother likes it. There is a wide variety of characters from the previous Tekken games that you can be (me and my little brothers favorite character is Ling Xiaoyu), and they each have a lot of moves, but sometimes me and my brothers get into feuds when we are on the same team.

This is a fun game, but I reccomend not playing it with little kids.

GENERALLY
Nice graphics,
wide variety of characters,
many sceneries (snowy ones are most beautiful),
some weapons,
many budo/ma styles,
etc

GAMEPLAY
Good for both to knock out the 'computer' players or "catfight" your friend(s).
Several different ways to fight (eg: one to one or group against group).
The game can suite to anybody. It can be just as tough or easy as you would like.

BONUSES
I love bonuses and find items.
Throughout the game (until you have found all of them) you will win and find bonuses as: new characters, movieclips, clothes, new scenery, etc.
The final characters movie is quite something! :)

Bowling, the extra game that appears later, is fun bonus and great for pastime relaxing with your fighting buddies on screen.
Besides picking down pins you can "bowl down" some characters next to the pins as well. (Fun if you like the flexibility of the games.;)

RECOMMENDATIONS
Even if this game has been around for quite some time already, this is new classic to have at home.
If you haven't got it already, you will not be disappointed.

I have an Xbox 360 and have pretty much played every fighting game out there and none of them are as fun as Tekken Tag. Not DOA, Virtua Fighter, or the other Tekkens for that matter. I am tired of all the gimmicks like the multi-levels, destructible environments, and finishing moves. That to me does not make a fighting game fun and is a cover-up for not being able to provide better gameplay. The action, fighting engine, characters, and the move set makes a fighting game great. Tekken Tag has all of that in spades. From the different ground attacks and combos, to the tag combo moves, to the sidestep and all the running attacks and soundtrack, I have never played a fighting game as fun as this. I had the game for years, traded it in and bought it again recently and all I can say is I never should have gotten rid of it in the first place. (I may get a backup copy just in case mine gets scratched up or worn out since it is such an old game and hard to find. It's that serious!) Playing with four people in pair play has provided endless hours of fun for me and my friends! My favorite characters are Law, Paul, King, and Hwoarang. This game has more moves in it and replay value than any other fighting game out there and the graphics are still great even by today's standards. Prettier games like DOA 4 are not as fun, they only look a little better. The graphics alone can not make a game great. Any fighting game fan has played this game already but for anybody that has not, GET THE GAME RIGHT NOW! IT IS A TIMELESS CLASSIC! Enuff said!

I've always wanted to get this game and I got it in 2003. TTT is a very awesome fighting game with tag-battling gameplay. There are some hard-to-understand appearances, such as the move list. But I suggest all fighting-gamers to get it ASAP!

First of all, I think that I'm the biggest Tekken fan on the face of the Earth. Now that that's out of the way Lets get down to buisness... This game was destined to have instant success. First of all, these are easily some of the best graphics on the PS2. The character models are very lifelike and the backgrounds look great. Secondly, this game features EVERY Tekken fighter ever to grace the Namco stage. (And now they have their own personality) But certainly the meat and potatoes of this game is in the fighting. Each character's move set has been greatly enhanced... even the tekken 1 and 2 fighters. So even the one-on-one battles are stunning. But throw in a team member and a lot of snazzy tag-team moves and it makes for a very deep and involved fighting system. This is a great game for any fighting fan.

The Greatest Fighting Game on the PS2!

Have you always had that feeling, the feeling where you like 2 characters, but can only choose 1? The worst feeling in this universe? Well, Tekken Tag Tournament solves your problem. This is one of the greatest Tekken games to date (All of them are great). Thank you Namco, you have shown me the light. Your PS2 collection isn't complete without a Tekken game. If you have that feeling (the worst one in the universe) go out and buy Tekken Tag Tournament. I did, and I'm a brand new person now. No more of that worst feeling in the universe anymore! I've started over, Namco has created the best fighting games ever, this one isn't an exception. Thank you Namco!
