Avoid this game like the plague !!!

This has gotta be one of the worst games I've ever seen on any system. This was made by a company called Volition, a company here in the US. Americans cannot make an RPG/adventure to save their lives! All the good RPG's are from Japan. The graphics are dark and hard to follow sometimes. The gameplay is ridiculousy HARD with the silly chain attack system. Do not waste your money!

If you are looking for a game that takes more than a few hours to beat then this is your game. The graphics are a little lagging for a PS2, but there is some much to do in this game that it will keep you busy for quite some time. There are a ton of mini-quests that you can do outside of the main objective in the game. Now I played straight through without doing many of the mini-quests in the game and it took me roughly 35 hours to beat, but if you complete all the quests in the game and plus work on the overall objective, this game could easily take over 55 hours to beat.

This game looks like it has promise

If you have not seen the trailer movie for this game than you are really missing out. It is sooooo hilarous! My friend showed it to me so I am sure you can see it on the Internet, but you might want to check ...even if this game looks like it won't interest you. Take D&D, then have the monsters play D&D and act just as crazy and you have the movie. I didn't ever play D&D, but the people who made that movie must have.

The pictures I have seen looked quite good so it will be interesting to see how this game progresses. Last I heard they were making the frame rate smaller ...but I guess they solved it if it is already for pre-order.

If I had the money for a PS-2, I think I'd give it a chance. Any company that can put out a movie that good can't be that bad. I am biased anyways, I love RPGs.

I just don't like it...

Ok, it's Christmas morning. Everything is going really cool. I just got a playstation 2, and this cool looking game to go with it. I pop in the game. I am met with something that looks like a horrible Diablo rip-off. Maybe I just don't like it because I hat Diablo, but I played this game for 2 minutes before turning it off. After that, I promptly went to my local Blockbuster to rent some MUCH better games like Dynasty Warriors 2, Orphen, and Armored Core 2. I know that these are just my personal feeling on the game, but I felt that I may as well share them. Also the graphics weren't particulary revolutionary or anything...

Summoner

This is an awesome game. My daughter and I love it. I'm not a very good role model, because we are always at the computer. We have summoner 2 but were unable to find summoner until now. It was worth the wait!

Don't waste your money

I bought this game for half the original price and had I known how bad it was I wouldn't have even paid that amount. The graphics are absolutely terrible, I have seen some Nintendo games with better graphics. And just plain and simple this is the worst RPG that I have ever played.

Best left for a pc not a ps2

This is the worst game I played in the PS2. The graphics look like they come from a bad pc game (the kind of game that can run in old PCs). The fighting is unimpressive given that I supposedly have the most powerful gaming console and controller in my hands. Seeing the main character confront the bad guys makes you feel like your pressing one of the directional arrows in your PC. The final fantasy series in playstation 1 even beats this playstation 2 wannabee hands down. I wish I could have my money back!

This game ... is very bad. 2 get 2 the point.
A. The graphics were awful, looked like something from early N64, not PS2
B. The story plot was bad also.
C. world was huge, you could easily get lost and that took any of the little fun out of the game.
and D. It was confusing, there were a lot of little mini-quests, but the problem was, even finding how to solve them.

Anyhoo, i could go on and on about how bad this game was. But if you want 2 figure it out 4 yourself, rent it, don't waste your money on this cheap piece of garbadge
