If you are looking for excitement and a challenge, this game is not for you. I bought this game two days ago for my husband. In less that 7 hours of play he beat the agent level. After just 4 more hours of play he is two missions away from beating 007 mode. This is with no strategy guides or walkthroughs. He feels absolutely no challenge in this game. This is from the same guy who still has not beaten Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64 (we believe there is no way to beat it without a game shark)after two years of playing it. Don't buy this game unless you have money to blow or just want to add to your collection.
WARNING NO MULTIPLAYER!

Dispite what the editorial review says there is no 2 player option. And thats a real shame because that would be the main reason why i would buy a game like this. Go to the manufacturer sight and see for yourself. Its a fun game for 1 person but dont buy it thinking that it has multiplayer casue it dosnt

Poorly assembled, strictly shoot 'em up, no strategy at ALL, filled with very annoying bugs...I thought it was going to be like Goldeneye but not even close! I like the way the combine the actual scenes from the movie, but that is the only redeaming quality. Rent this game before you buy it PLEASE!
This must be the worst Bond there is and there ever will be

Ok,until the day I bought this game,I already played Bond games like the superb Goldeneye, the very good The World Is Not Enough for N64 and Agent Under Fire.I thought to myself that no Bond game could ever be worse than TWINE for PlayStation 1,but when I first played this game,I knew I was wrong.
First of all,you play Bond from a Third-person perspective, which is pretty bad because of the poor controls.Sometimes I played TND without knowing what I was actually doing, but went through the level anyway. As if this weren't enough, the story of the movie couldn't have been worse adapted.
The only real positive point about this game is the sound. There are some cool tracks on the disc, nothing more, nothing less.
Last, but not least,I tell you:if you absolutely want a 007 game for your PlayStation, then buy The World Is Not Enough. It's not good either, but better than this.
No, no, no! Bad game! Bad game!

This is not a good game. This is pong compared to Goldeneye. The levels are way too small and easy. The shooting interface is whack. The graphics are sub par. The Weapon and item chooser interface is whack. The objectives for each level are extremely vague. There aren't enough bad guys to blast. The pace of the game is very slow. Overall, a pretty lame attempt to follow Goldeneye which is the best shootin' game ever. Save your money for Perfect Dark.
Tomorrow Never Dies, you're no Golden Eye

If you waited in great anticicpation for the sequel to Golden Eye, get ready to be disappointed. This game is nothing like the classic, doom-like first installment of James Bond and offers little to satify the thirst for a shoot 'em up, fast-paced action game. Did I mention there is no death-match . . . What is the point of that? Don't buy it, unless you like Tomb Raider set to a James Bond movie theme. Let Nintento have the next crack at a Bond game, they did it right the first time.

This game is without a doubt, the biggest disappointment that I have had this year. It is absolute crap. The graphics are bad. The control is bad. Whoever said that this is better than Syphon Filter needs to have their head examined. This game is nowhere near as good as Syphon Filter. If you want to play a really good action/stealth/espionage adventure, than I suggest picking up "Medal of Honor," which is a fantastic game set in WWII. If you want to play as James Bond, get an N64 and play Goldeneye (and I hate N64 by the way.) but whatever you do, don't waste any time on this worthless title.
This game totally sucks!

I have been waiting for this game to come out ever since I beat Goldeneye. Goldeneye is the best console game ever designed. After I beat it I was so anctious toplay a sequel, then a year later this piece of ^@#$*& came out and I was really excited. I immediately rented this game from my local video store and proceeded to beat the entire game in less than 5 hours! It is so incredibly easy to beat and I cant stand it. It sucks! The graphics are horrible and the control scheme is completely #$%*#!@ up. Shooting the guys is impossible and there is a hoorible clipping problem that shows up everywhere. If you want to buy a great game of this nature get Syphon Filter or Medal of Honor. Please write into MGM and EA about how crappy is so maybe Rare will buy the franchise back! Do not buy this game unless you have a lot of cash to burn for no real reason!

I rented this game after christmas and i can say that it is not what it was supposed to be like. There isn't even a 2 player deathmatch! How stupid is a bond game with just the regular missions that are rediculous and boring. I rented it and I played it for about a day, and thats all i ever want to play it.
okay, but goldeneye is a better shooter...

This game is most like a james bond movie, with complicated Q "toys"and cars, ski, ect. However, the play is extremely easy. there's no multiplay mode, and the controls are awkward. The game in no way resembles Goldeneye, it's much more like Tomb Raider with a not-quite-as-hot male star. Don't buy.
