I thought it was pretty good, for the most part. I've never played V before so I guess it was sort of a treat even though it doesn't quite measure up to the other installments. I reccomend buying this because it is very hard to come by now-a-days. If you go into a shop that specializes in video games they probably won't have it. I'm not making this up, I've asked the guy at Funcoland too! Most places that sell games have every final fantasy except this one usually. I must have spent hours just looking for this game in stores until finally I broke down and bought it online. Which it is hard to find too, since everyone is always out of stock or on a back order or something or don't sell it. Oh well, get it when it comes back in stock.

Final Fantasy 6 is quite simply the greatest game of all time, and its countless number of fans, will attest to that. I have played the game over and over for eight years and I still never tire of it, because everything is perfect: the characters, the story, the setting, the gameplay, and even the graphics (yes, even though they are from the SNES!). I cannot possible describe it, so if you buy Anthology for any one reason, make that reason FF6.

As for FF5, I have to agree with another reviewer that there are too many battles. It is great to see FF5 finally released over here in the states, and so I guess any complaints I may have are overshadowed by that. The soundtrack CD is also awesome, although it does not include all of my favourite tracks from 6, but all is forgiven.

These games rule!

The best video games ever made are Final Fantasy 6,7,and 8,.Six has the best story line out of all of them. Five is pretty good two. I highly recomend this game.

Not much to say here that hasn't already been said in the other reviews. Final Fantasy VI is a phenomenal game, and despite Amazon's paltry reviews of V, I believe it's also a very solid and fun game. The only complaint I have is that V wasn't given many bonus features; just an intro FMV, nothing additional like with VI.

Finally, the music disc included is pathetic. Not even worth the time. Spring for the OSV's of both games, if you're that interested in it.

I have always been a fan of the Final Fantasy series and this just makes me a more solid supporter. Great game play and hours of fun.

FFVI (III) Is the best!

I've loved this game since it came out in the US and when my wife got out her old PS 1 I couldn't resist ordering it to relive the good old days with Sabin and the group! If you like RPGs in any way shape or form, you should love this game.

Great game! My 14 year old is just now getting into the Final Fantasy games. He enjoys them a great deal! They are now priced at a resonable cost for families on a budget.

Final Fantasy VI on this collector's package was the first final fantasy i have ever played, which was on the super nintendo at the time i did. FFVI i believe has a great storyline and I think even though the graphics don't compare to what is out there today, the storyline and fun gameplay will make this a must-have for final fantasy collectors and rpg fanatics.

If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy series then you really need this one. both games are intensely fun. if you want more original graphics with a few cg movies thrown in then this is for you. but i have a feeling they will be releasing both of these games for the DS if that suits you better.
