Starcraft: One of the greatest games ever.
It is a fun game that can easily be played on many computers. The game play is very very good. It's a unique game. Since the graphics aren't very high, (But still are extremely good) it doesn't need a super-computer (exageration) to run the game. This game should be on your computer if it isn't on yours now.

To simplistic in the multiplayer. The single player game is fun, and provides alot of entertainment, but the gameplay of the multiplayer is too simplistic.

The varity of tactics and options just isn't there.

For multiplayer, go with Age of Empires 2.

Still a fun game though.

If you're like me and have a mediocre computer and a anerexic wallet, this is the game for you.

Here's why:
- tremendous value
- great gameplay
- graphics are ok (great for the time), so you won't need a good computer
- great replay value
- multiplayer on battle.net is still breathing!

Get it- you wont be dissapointed- hours of fun that won't cost you much.

Okay im not much of a strategy fan, i have played them all the big hits and the only one any good is the command and conquer series i didn't even bother trying this game in 1998 (I didn't like warcraft 1 or 2).In 2002 a friend showed it to me and i played it with him(he had a lan in his house and i have one now too) and i tell you, it is different then any RTS i have ever played i mean i got so into it i stayed up till 2:00 in the morning playing it with him. I bought it the day after(hey it only cost 10.00$s at most places). Whoever said that is had a bad story on the single player is WRONG. It is the most gripping story on a RTS EVER, I promise, it is a story of betrayel, your allies might not be what they seem to be and it has main characters that you have to protect during most missions.It is not just a war between 3 factions. BUY IT , NOW GO ill be waiting for you on battle.net.

This is one of the best games ever made. But one thing. It is additing. I think if u by this only play it on vactions or if you don't have work for a week or two.With this game my grades went down to c's and D's. I am not saying don't buy it just don't let it get out of hand.

I really enjoy playing this game. In the beginning I found it a bit confusing compared to Age of Empires (an absolutely excellent game), so I didn't really like it. I eventually became better and now I find it very fun to play. It is set in the future and you can have your choice of who/what you are. There are some really cool aliens. Take a look at this game. It's great for someone who likes stragedy! Planning your next move against the enemy. Highly recommended!!

Star Craft, I think, has to be the best and coolest games in the world. I love games wHere you have to plan a strategy if you want to play. I love this game for its pure hatred between the races.
I also love this game for this challenge. If you are reading this I highly recomMend you get this game. But be careful, war lurks behind every corner.

StarCraft is a real-time strategy game. It's got all the usual stuff such as resource gathering (Vespene Gas and Minerals), unit building and management, defense of a race, and a campaign editor. But it's developers at Blizzard added a little something called personality and it has revolutionized the strategy market. The races and units are all unique and the AI is top-notch; plus, the campaign editor is the best ever, allowing you to make an entire new StarCraft game if you like. Get this game, it's even on N64! This is the height of gameliciousness!
