I've had this game for two nights and Im already addicted to it. When I bought Warcraft 2, I thought that game was cool. The first time I Played Starcraft I loved it so much I would choose Starcraft over all the war crafts combined!

Starcraft is very addictive but it does not end in the missions. It has custom maps to play with freinds. Ones like football or racing. It has a map editor where you can create brilliant maps. You can download maps too play. Then when you've done all that you can get brood wars expansion one. Then isseruction exspansion 2. Brood wars you get new units. Then when you've done that you could start playing on battle net. I've had this game for a couple of years and never lost intrest. This game is a best buy. But if that isn't enough they have got three manuals one about brood wars, starcraft and making maps. So they help you do all these things you didn't know you could do. You could play this game for hours and not get bored

I have played many computer games in my time and this game isone of the greatest. I think the best part about the game is that youcan play on battle.net for free! It is a very fun game, and i recremoned that you buy it! END

I don't know what you people are thinking when you say that Starcraft is simply another Warcraft 2. I have played Starcraft for the better part of a year, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I, too, started out with Warcraft 2 and then discovered this game via a friend.

This game is wonderful. I mean, how long can it possibly take for people to imagine all this? It's amazing. The thought that humans would colonize space millions of light years from Earth and discover alien life forms that hate their guts is just...bewildering. The storyline that goes behind the game (which Warcraft lacked) is also interesting and entertaining, if not incredibly important.

This game (and it's Expansion, Brood War, which I also own and enjoy) truly shows that many people put hard work into it. Now, as for it's relation to Warcraft! Recently I dusted off the Warcraft 2 CD and popped it into my drive, just for laughs. It was amazing how completely AWFUL the game was compared to Starcraft! It was so simple and easy! I was glad that I had the comfort of knowing that Starcraft existed. How did we LIVE playing Warcraft 2? The game, compared to Starcraft, is petty and simple. This game, although similar in format, is MUCH better than Warcraft and it's sequel.

This game has created a legacy, one that will be hard to surpass.

This is the best strategy game I have ever purchased. It is 100 times better than all C&C. It let's you control any race and let's you bring in your own strategy depending on your style. The gameplay is extremely easy to control once you get to know it and it is a vital part to the game itself. You will be engaged in this game for hours nad hours of pure gaming joy from the various missions this game has to offer. This is a must have for any strategy gamer. Even if you are new to strategy games, this game will grab you on and you will find it hard to quit playing...

Many things make a good computer game, among them are how long the game can keep you occupied. Starcraft offers you a long gameplay, in which you may often lose, but your loss will also teach you something. If you lose, you will want to continue the battle, nowing that you learned much from the previous battle. If you are looking for a challenging game that has good multiplayer capabilities, then this should be right up on your list.

i went to a computer camp last summer where we got "game time". my favorite game to play was starcraft over the network with my computer buddies. it's a lot of fun when you get a bunch of people playing over the internet or a network. we would just yammer on about starcraft while we were eating in the cafeteria at our table. in fact, i loved it so much i bought it.

This game is the best game in the world, you have to keep playing and improving it never gets boring because when u play on battle.net every one gets better so u cna always find a challenge, get this game or miss out on wut ur friends are always talking about

If you're looking for a great RTS game here you have it has a really cool gameplay and really cool units and also brings a cool campaign editor. The sound is also a neat thing. If you want a game RTS buy this if you like RTS games.
