it has more realism than any other soccer game, it is a fare game if you want to win you have to learn to play, there are no secrets goal points, there are no super players, there are no super teams you can do your own team, and you can get the best players in a very amazing draft of players, and if your team isn't good enough the player won't come, you can make incredible moves an goals(...), you can't miss it!!
WOW!! What a game!!

This is the best soccer game ever made, no questions about it! The graphics are very realistic and the graphics in general are great. The gameplay is out of this world, and if you play soccer, you know what I meant, it fees like you are in the action. It does take time to master the game, but it is worth it. The AI is very good, a lot better than other sports games in general but it could still use some improvements in this area. Other than that this game is superb, you wont stop playing it, I am hooked to the game for hours. I would even say that this is the best sports game ever created up to now. You must buy this game or else you will regret it!!!
Forget it

The teams are not authentic and the controls are cumbersome. The one good thing I liked, which was not available in FIFA 2004, was the customization options. I liked customizing/creating players and editing teams. I wish EA would pick this up.
Buy this game! now !

First of all, this game gone far beyond the others. When you compare with the FIFA Series(Which wouldn't be a smart idea)you'll be suprised what this game offers you... There are things that you can never see in EA FIFA series (Incredible Tactics, Man to Man Control, Second Man Controls, Step Over a Man While the ball is on air, Immediate Respond, Lot better Controller Sets, Manual Passing, Shooting, Smarter Goalkeepers, Great Pressing and Counter Attack Opportunities, Press over Opponents Field, Excellent Realistic of Movement with and/or without the ball, Fast and Best Out of Ball Positions (Touch-in, Corner-Kick, Free-Kick), Faster Game Mode(Which makes the game almost real), Clearly Playable Multi-Player Mode, Player movements (air control, volley-shot, get ready for shoots), and lot more...).
So that much of playing opportunities make this game absouletly the BEST GAME EVER MADE...
And if you never tried the WE7 you dont know the pleasure of SOCCER GAME...
If you don't like soccer, don't bother

Alright first of all, if you don't like soccer and the strategy involved in soccer, I really wouldn't recommend this game at all, it's about soccer, not arcade soccer but the game of soccer
If however soccer is your sport, and I can safely say it is for me, then this is THE game for you, it has everything from realistic moves to a realistic build-up of play. The players (with the exception of the Dutch players and some others) are all represented perfectly, David Beckham even has his little ponytail that he has now.
Two things, I always change the controls seeing as I don't believe the default controls are very comfortable, and I recommend everyone downloading updates available (roster-updates, these are available through a Sharkport Device) because otherwise you will still find David Seaman guarding the posts at Arsenal
Overall if you like soccer, get this game, you will NOT regret it
Fabulous

I don't have much to say that hasn't been said already. I just want to say that this is simply the best sports game out there - even better and more addictive than the EA Sports line. Even if you don't know much about soccer, just try it, and you'll see why everybody loves it.

I'm playing on hard mode in the master league (becuase Extreme is just to high an intensity for me). I'm Liverpool (an english club) and am 1 POINT behind the leader, Anhalt (Bayern Munich) and am playing them in myt last fixture. My team is excellent, but my funds are something like 200 (for those who don't own the game, an average and safe amount of funds would be about 2,000-3,000). I need to win this game or I'm out altogether. Each game I'm paying my guys in total 422. My average pay for a win is 420 (if i win 2-0, 2=20 extra "points" or "funds"). If i draw i get 200, and if i lose i get nothing. So i HAVE TO WIN.
The game starts normally. Pizzaro (Bayern) makes a sudden break helped by Beckam (they bought him from Man United) who launches the ball from behind half way, onto the edge of my penalty box. Pizzaro is completely unmarked and has time to make a choice. My keeper, oscal cordoba runs at him and zipparo fakes past, leaving cordoba stranded. Pizzaro humbly trots to the goal mouth and slots it in the 15nth minute (I was playing 15 minutes for a full game, so it obviosly wasn't 15 actual minutes, just 15 on the clock). 1-0 to Bayern Munich. After another while, a chance sparked up form a goal kcik. I went on my own with Michael Owen. I got past about 4 lads and was then stuck, going around the edge of the box. I was about to be "relieved" of the ball when i saw Chiesa (I bought him from Tuscana) making a break straight through the middle. I chipped it over the guys head (who was about to tackle me), and Chiesa, arched upwards, and getting only the smallest touch to it, headered it just over Oliver Kahns out strechted arms. It ducked under the topright bar. 1-1. On that goal the haltime whistle blowed. In the 60ieth minute,Pizzaro went valiantly from about 25 metres and shot, just slicing in between the post and my keepers fingers. It was an incredible goal, making it 2-1 to anhalt. On the 87 minute I pulled one back from a free that was about 23 metres out, on the left side. Chiesa (right foot) curled it in, around the lower left post. The goaly didn't even move! I thought on the 90th minute, hey what does it matter, in between roaring my self hoarse at my players. But then a magical goal came about. After dispossesing Zipparo on the edge of my box, I passed it to Rui Costa.Holding L1 and passing to Gaurdiola, Costa ran on. I chipped it over effenburg to Rui Costa, who then, before the ball touched the ground, headed it to Owen, over Lizarazo. Owen cut his way throught to midfield. Strangley, there were only two defenders near the box. Passing again to gaurdiola, who was supporting owen, with L1, I then chipped it over the TWO defenders that were rushing Owen. It bounced perfectly into owens stride, who was now about 30 metres out. Kahn edged from his box. The race was on, with the all the defenders sprinting back. Kahn was still off his line ready to pounce if I got to close. I couldn't chip, because he would collect it easily, needing only to jog back. And I felt taking a normal shot he would simply save, especially with the defenders and now almsot recollecting them selves, while rushing at owen. Instead of passing the ball to Cheisa, I held the square button full way, and as the power bar went to the extreme, I clicked and held R2. Owen HAMMERED the ball. It soared powerfully, and then dipped gracefully just over Kahns hands. It richocheted off the underside of the bar and bounce just inside the line of the goal. Even though it hit the line, the spin sent it onto Kahn, who was on the gorund with his hands, clapped across his face. 2-3 TO ME.
On that goal the game was over. And I also felt just how much I appreciated this INCREDIBLY amazing game. Get this as soon as humanly possible or get the latest game, which over here in Europe we call "Pro Evolution Soccer 3" or "Pro Evo 3". we7 is unreal class, but the newest one still, beats an Fifa game or even we7 HANDS DOWN.
We7 is still an excellent buy though.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!

I thought WE6 was one of the best games ever. This version is not. The players you control re-act much to slow. You must anticipate every move 3 steps in advance. If you loved WE6 be wary of this one. RENT FIRST.
Are you guys crazy? WE7 doesn't even deserve 3 stars.

Hearing that many people talked excitedly about WE7, I was so eager to get a copy yesterday as soon as it came out. Having never played a single WE game before(including WE6 and earlier verions in the series) I have spent the entire night yesterday playing WE7, however, only after a couple of hours, pretty much I have a conclusion for myself: There are some good features about WE7, but overall it is definitely NOT as good as FIFA 2004 (from my view point).
Here are some of the shortcomings:
1) Lack of famous world-class teams and many crappy unreal "countryside" teams too -- There are only a handful of national teams like Brazil, England and France that have real players with real names, and all other players are unreal with fake names. The club teams are a joke. Besides Juventus and a couple others in Italy, I don't think you can find a real team with real players in it. It doesn't even have Real Madrid! Of course this is to deal with Konami's inability to secure the license, but playing with real players with unique abilities is surely a selling point for any sports game. That definitely makes it less enjoyable for me.
2) No online play -- Easy to explain and easy to understand. I feel bored playing against computers or friends all the time. Full stop.
3) Graphics are NOT better (or NOT MUCH better if better) than FIFA 2004 -- I have compared Owen and Beckham, Figo, etc, I think FIFA 2004 has a more life-like rendition of Owen's and Beckham's faces than WE7.
4) No precision passing and no shot targeting -- There is no precision long pass as in FIFA 2004, and of course there is no precision shot targeting as in FIFA. The passing button config is too complicated and hard to control, like you have to press a specific number of times to decide whether you will center a pass to NEAR post or FAR post.... Are you kidding? What are they thinking?? Number of press strokes is not a logical choice for controlling a pass. Scoring a goal from a direct free kick is almost like a dream -- I think even after you play for months, you will not be able to score one from free kick. If you shoot in WE7 like you do in FIFA 2004, you will definitely shoot high wide and high.....
5) Lousy goal celebration and facial expressions -- After players score a goal in WE7, they are basically just walking slowly around without any excitement or the celebration style unique to each real player or anything that you can see in FIFA 2004. Their facial expressions remain pretty much moody without even a smile. How could you give 5 stars to a game that have claimed to pay attention to these minor details, but have not actually done anything good with it?
Good points for WE7 (That's where the 2 stars I give come from):
However, there is something better in WE7 than in FIFA 2004. I like the movement, motion and skillset of the players on the pitch more than that in FIFA 2004. From running to kicking, faking and controlling the ball, WE7 is very close to real play. It even features some kick styles that you can't find in FIFA, like bicycle kick and over-the-head kick. If FIFA 2004 has some of these too, it would be tremendously awesome.
However, overall, FIFA 2004's good has more than offsets its bad when compared to WE7.I don't understand why people are demeaning the FIFA game relentlessly in its every aspect and upholding the WE7 game so much. Turns out WE7 is a pretty crappy game that I have already regretted buying....
For anybody that hasn't played with WE6 before (like myself), I wouldn't recommend WE7 at all.... I would recommend they buy FIFA 2004 instead. But if you like WE6, then maybe WE7 has something more in it.
