to make replay value, sony added over 100 cars. the only problem is, there are so little levels, that it gets boring after a while. i'd like less cars, more levels

This game has bad graphics.
It has sucky cars.
It is so hard to play on different tracks.
The cars dosn't even have a driver in it.

i must admit, after spending 75 bucks for this import, it is really boring. It was of course fun from the start, but once you so all th levels a few times, it's terribly boring. no replay value

remember seeing those life-like screens of GT3? then you will be disappointed. The graphics look nice, but the textures don't load sometimes, leaving no reflection where they were shown, and making those god-awful jaggies. the graphics are blocky and blurry. you know why. the 50Mhz Vu0. that loads textures, physics, and lighting. It is too slow to support those feature with all the cars, so they simpally don't load sometimes. o well, maybe they can fix it on PS3....

i here your complaints and most of them are about lack of cars well if you read any magazines they say and i qoute " each car took the 1 whole week 2 make in real time"and there is plenty of cars especially considering that and it was delayed so much so they could add more cars and the cars dont all handle the same (which makes me think did these people even buy the game or just blowing smoke up peoples ... i do agree about the engines being similar not the same this version has a emotion engine and it allows you to draft much easier

the game is hard ... to complete but thats why they call it a challenge

and for other people recomending tm black over the greatest racing game ever dosent say much about their opinion i personally thought tm2 was better than tm black

This game is loud, exhilirating ,and it pushes ps2 to its limits, but one thing the makers forgot was the fun factor. I got this game early (July 10), and I was so excited. I got to play it two days before everyone else in america! I went out and paid 100$ for the GT Force racing wheel and I even got the strategy guide. The second I got home I hooked everything up and was planning to sit for hours, but it was soon shortened to a few minutes. The game sometime feels too "real". If you hit a wall, or barley even brush it, you lose control for a few seconds and go careening sideways across the track. Turning is also pretty difficult. If you barely go off of the tar, your car slows way down and you do a spinout and lose control. If it were tweaked the game would be perfect, but it wasn't. I deserves no more than the rating I gave it. A four.

When I played this game it was truly amazing. There is some touching up it could use but it is unarguably the BEST racer out there...until GT4 of course! --but that'll be later...

There is a good article from IGN that talks about the goods and bads. Don't let the article bring you down because no game will ever be truly perfect. Just read the article and make your own decision. I would really rate the game 4.5 stars,but you cant on this site.

at first when i played this game i thought that it wuz really bad the controls were horrible!!! but recently i got to play a version of the tweaked version and it wuz one of the best games i had ever played!!! definitly a must buy for realistic racing fans...

Gran Turismo needs more cars but now that I think about it.Look at the graphics and things along that nature.Its very,very good.I dont think that ANYONE has used the FULL potental of PS2,well not that I know of.I figured that the Gran Turismo series(Very good games)would try to use the full potental of the PS2.Well there is always the next game.
