Never got the chance to play the game!!

When I first purchased this game, I was very excited. As a fan of Family Feud for many years, I was very happy to purchase the game so I could play it at home. When I recieved the game, the set up directions were unclear and short. When I was unsuccesful installing the game, I asked one of my computer friends for help installing the game and they were unsuccessfull as well. After a few days of attempting to install (and numberous failures), I contacted the help department, who proved to be no help at all. First of all, there is no help phone number in the set-up instructions so you may not call and speak to anyone. Only an e-mail address was given. So I e-mailed the help and they e-mailed me back a set of troubleshooting tips to try, all of which were not relevant to the Family Feud game. They even told me to try things that I clearly explained in the original e-mail that I have tried and were unsuccessful .I emailed them again (after trying again myself other troubleshooting tips I found online). The second email I recieved was a cut and paste of the first email telling me to try again the troubleshooting ideas that have not been working all along. I wonder if the "help" department even read my email before responding to it. I would not recommend this game to anyone, especially if you are going to need help installing it. If so, don't rely on their help! Very Disappointed!

Not much fun

I played Family Feud on-line and thought this would be like it. It is not. Takes too long to play because you have to sit through all the "fake" players scratching their heads, clapping, groaning, stuff like that. I just want to play the game! I'm disappointed.

Needs 3D video accelator card

I could not download game, upon futher investigation I learned you need a 3D accelator card, which I have checked into but refuse to spend an additional $80-135 to play one game that cost under $20. That should have been clearly stated that you may need additional accessories to play. I dont know how much fun the game is because I could not play it, I am returning it.

I was so excited to order this game!! I was so happy the day I received it in the mail. I installed the game and it said installation complete. Well, I was unable to open it. I kept getting an error message. So I installed it, and tried again. Didn't work. So I shut down my computer, still didn't work. Checked my computer for virus's...still didn't work. All of the other games I bought I had no problem with. Talk about being disappointed!!!!

I ordered this game for my computer 2 times. After loading the game, it said it wa installed. However, when I went to play the game I got an error saying the game was not installed correctly?? I sent the error, but got no response.
I thought the game was defective, so I sent it back and ordered another game. I had the same problem and sent the error, which again, I got no response from the manufacturer.
I sent it back again and ordered the DVD version of the game. I have not received that yet, so hopefully will work for me.
I do not know if my computer was not compatible for the game; however, I do not understand why the installation said complete & then I was unable to play the game because of an "error"?

I don't know

This game looks fun, but I cannot tell because it does not load, and an error message is the only thing I can get out of the disc. Very dissapointing as this was a gift. It also looks as if this is happening to many customers, stay away at all cost.

Poor, Poor Game

First I had installed it on my computer. It got all the way throw the installation, it said the installation was successfully complete. But it did not say anything about having to install Direct X version 9. My computer then when I went to play it showed up an error report. I clicked on the icon for it a hundred times always showing the error report. I emailed Global Star Software about this problem and to this day have not answered my email. I am disgusted with the way they handle their customer service. I ended up having to go on their website and downloading the patch for it. Then it worked. Gameplay is horrible and the host constantly repeats himself. There are also very few options when you go to make your own family. Like it gives you two shirts to choose from. The gameplay is also very slow and the surveys are quite boring. Do not waste your money on this game like I did.

Horrible game

I have always been a fan of Family Feud and was so excited that it came out on video game. I bought it for the Game Boy Advance. The game was such a disappointment. It is very slow, the monologue of the "host" is very long winded, and keeps repeating. The game claims to have over 1000 survey questions, but I played it on all levels of difficulty and several questions were repeated several times. Also many of the answers given by the opposing family (the computer) are very silly and the game doesn't allow any leeway. Example of one question, "Name something that beeps". I said fire alarm, I got a strike, the correct answer was smoke alarm. Do not waste your money

The game would install, but not open. After several attempts to uninstall/reinstall/restart computer...the same error message continued to appear. We were unable to play, but have opted to exchange in hopes for better luck next time. Watch for review #2.

Doesn't Work!!

I bought this game for my daughter for Christmas and I too was excited to play the game. We loaded it and then there was an error message that said it couldn't run. I read other reviews that said the same thing had happened to them. Unfortunately I read these reviews too late. I was able to get my money back. I am not sure why it didn't work though. I will not buy another one since I read that this happened to others.
