Needs 3D video accelator card

I could not download game, upon futher investigation I learned you need a 3D accelator card, which I have checked into but refuse to spend an additional $80-135 to play one game that cost under $20. That should have been clearly stated that you may need additional accessories to play. I dont know how much fun the game is because I could not play it, I am returning it.

Game does not give you enough time to type in answers. Also does not cover a misspell. So not that easy for some kids.

Simple, But Fun

The makers of Family Feud tried to make this game as much like the game show as possible. The questions are read by host Louie Anderson, the background includes stage lights, and audience sounds are added in. Surprisingly, most of these features add to the fun of the game rather than taking away from it. You can choose one of their pre-made families or create your own family and family members. However, you are limited to creating 10 characters and 5 families. Once you've reached the limit you can create new characters and families by editing the old ones, but the original characters/families will be lost forever. The character creator allows you to adjust each individual facial feature, as well as the hairstyle, body type, and clothing. Some of the features have a limited number of choices, and most of the features are better suited for women's faces than for men's. The main complaint I hear about this game is that the computer opponents are too easy. I can see how that would be true for expert players, but for the average player setting the computer opponent level to Hard should be sufficient. You could also reduce the answering time for questions or lower the acceptance of misspelled words.

This game is quite fun. Earlier I thought that I would know most of the answers, but I was wrong so I lost. There are some tricky questions that you might need to think hard. Creating people is very funny - there is some choice and see what the reaction of people is when you try to "create" them. I don't know why all of you are having trouble installing. The only problem I have is that sometimes my games don't save, but I don't mind because now it doesn't happen. The only thing is that whenever I try the online gaming (play with other people) there is never anyone online. But otherwise, be prepared for a fun, competitive, and exciting game to play.

I was so excited to order this game!! I was so happy the day I received it in the mail. I installed the game and it said installation complete. Well, I was unable to open it. I kept getting an error message. So I installed it, and tried again. Didn't work. So I shut down my computer, still didn't work. Checked my computer for virus's...still didn't work. All of the other games I bought I had no problem with. Talk about being disappointed!!!!

I ordered this game for my computer 2 times. After loading the game, it said it wa installed. However, when I went to play the game I got an error saying the game was not installed correctly?? I sent the error, but got no response.
I thought the game was defective, so I sent it back and ordered another game. I had the same problem and sent the error, which again, I got no response from the manufacturer.
I sent it back again and ordered the DVD version of the game. I have not received that yet, so hopefully will work for me.
I do not know if my computer was not compatible for the game; however, I do not understand why the installation said complete & then I was unable to play the game because of an "error"?

I have always been a fan of Family Feud and was so excited that it came out on video game. I bought it for the Game Boy Advance. The game was such a disappointment. It is very slow, the monologue of the "host" is very long winded, and keeps repeating. The game claims to have over 1000 survey questions, but I played it on all levels of difficulty and several questions were repeated several times. Also many of the answers given by the opposing family (the computer) are very silly and the game doesn't allow any leeway. Example of one question, "Name something that beeps". I said fire alarm, I got a strike, the correct answer was smoke alarm. Do not waste your money

Loading Problems

I think this game is a good game, if you can get over the glitches such as the recognition of simliar words. I do think it makes for a fun night of gameplay and I would recommend this to anyone that likes the gameshow.

What I would like to say for anyone that has problems loading the game, there is a patch available for you to install on your computer and your game should work just fine. Just do a search on Family Feud Game Patch or go to the website of the makers of the disc. I had the same problems many of you are having, and once I downloaded the patch, the game worked just fine.
