This is a fairly fun game which is meant for younger kids and not for older kids so if your 10 or up and you find it boring your above the recommended age groups so you get what you deserve. All and all its a good game and well worth your money if your in the age group.

Buy this game it rules!

BB2001 is the best baseball game ever!In this version you can pick major league players and teams,and that is only one of the updates from the first version.The graphics are great, and it is even easier to bat,field,and pitch.This is a great game!

When I first purchased this game I instantly fell in love with it. It was extremely addictive. I don't play anymore now because I mastered it. Playing as some of my favorite players (Derek Jeter, Randy Johnson, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, etc.) was terrific. Challenging different people on-line was also fun. This game is fun when you first get it but you can easily get tired of it after two months of non-stop playage.

This is a great game. My cousin owns this game and the original version(pretty much the same,but no MLB players).You can create a player that looks exactly like you in cartoon version,you can start your own seasons with MLB titles and logos(plus BBL ones),and after any game you can click on the pictures of the players and make them say funny stuff.

This game is definatly better than the first one. You can choose to play a real team, or, the always availible backyard logos. Now you can pick real players(some have retired by now though) or the talented backyard kids.
When you play the easy mode, it's easy! My cousin has won 50 to 0! The medium level is a bit more challenging. You still win pretty easily, but I've got myself cought inacouple of games that are still too hard. The hard is HARD, well not too hard. The scores are now like baseball scores. Not 32 to 4, but 3 to 4 and so on.
Well I think it's a great game. Ready to be played by children of all ages. Just say thanks to Humonguous, the pro players, and the backyard kids for all this fun. I also recommend Bakyard Football, Soccer, and Basketball.

Play baseball in the comfort of your own home. There's no shortage of baseball games for the PC especially with Humongous Entertainment's addition to the Backyard Sports series. Continuing the same tradition found in its other Backyard Sports games, you are the coach and you have the choice of choosing your own players including pros like Ivan Rodriguez, former Ranger Juan Gonzalez, and unbeatable Randy Johnson to name a few. Only in this game, they're kids! Backyard Baseball provides a wealth of options that are adaptable to your skill level and preferences.

I brought in a pricey, 6-year old consultant to test the product. It took a little time to get set up and going, but once we had everything figured out we knew our way around the field of dreams, a basic neighborhood field or you can move up to bigger and fancier fields. The game was set on the easy level that allowed her to hit every pitch at which she swung. After she finished her game (her team, the Rangers, lost and it was no surprise), I changed the level to medium and it was very tough to hit the ball. Time passed and the adults got the hang of it.

Later, the dad got hooked on the game -- so it's great for adults, too. Not only do you get pro ballers, you get regular kids with personality including a clumsy girl and a rock n' rollin' boy who do their shtick while at bat or on the field. This makes the game more entertaining and a bonus is that you can play other players and get software bug fixes while connected to the Internet.

The only thing I wish it had was the ability to create team names from scratch instead of limiting the coach to stock names. Other than that, the game is batting 1.000.

it is easy to play, and you can beat the computer. Even a one year old can play the game and win because it is that easy

I know why i love this game, it is because it provides me hours of fun and excitement. you are your own coach and you have to make wise decisions or your team won't win the championship.

This is a fun game not only they have 30 teams but u can make up your team this is also great because there are girls that u can make control is excellent this is definitely a game to get the price is just right. I like the fielding its excellent i maded my own team and it just great i hope everyone gets this game. The options u have full season, one game mode, create player mode, and the best of all u can play against friends on the internet this is an excellent game i hope u enjoy it. This is a game that doesnt make u bored it makes u wanna keep playing it fun factor is great. The best this about this game is the graphics they are the best i have ever seen in a baseball game before im telling ya you'll like this game.
