I guess I had higher hopes... HOWEVER, this is a great game... ... It's still good... This game is like Street fighter (the best 2d fighter of all time) ... It's awesome... Great controls... 3-player tag team... playing incentive... (buy new characters, costumes...) My ONLY complaint with this ENTIRE game is that some of the 2d sprites look a little bad... they could do better... mayke thema bit smoother... anyhow... it's still great... Other good fighters on xbox: Soul Calibur 2, Dead Or ALive 3... Try those... Ok, Thanks for your time ~Andy

Marvel vs capcom 2 is one of the greatest games ever made. The best team is magneto, spider man, and jill. I cant think of any other team greater then that. This game surely deserves a 5 rating, because i can play it for hours with no problem. buenos trabajan capcom!

I have played the arcade Mavel vs. Capcom and it was easly my favorite out of alot.I havent experieced the Xbox version but I have played the Xbox and with the power of it can make it better than the arcade one.The fact that there are 59 charecter is awsome .The arcade probly only had like 20.Im glade of this because there were charecters not on the arcade one that I wanted
to play with.

yeah, it DID come out for PS2 first. i guess you never played the game in the arcade, or know next to nothing about the game, because if you did, you'd know that the PS2 version sucks. they change it drastically from the arcade version, though you couldn't tell from the surface. So, we wait for the xbox version, hoping it'll be a much more accurate port than the horrible PS2 port.

The main reason anyone would buy a older game(that is a good one) is if it had a new source fo life. For this game it was the xbox live featue but then for no reason other to be gay and lazy the took it out. So i think the sales for this game will be horrible and ur better of buying snkvs street fighter. Longer gaem live. Horrible just horrible

[...] Lately I've been complaining about pressure sensitive buttons, and their lack of responsiveness. This game is a prime example of that, as there have been many times when I am inputting the classic moves that I know by heart and nothing happens, or I'm pounding away at the controller and nothing happens. Its not that my controller is broken, is that a game meant for digital buttons should either be tweaked to handle analogue buttons, or not put on a system with a controller that has them. The biggest response problem is in the hyper combos, which require you to pull the left and right trigger together. On the DC I could pull the triggers once and pull it off, on the Xbox I have to pull the triggers repeatedly, and getting my butt kicked as a result. I was able to breeze through even the toughest battles on the DC, but the response was much much better for that system.
Don't get me wrong the game is still a blast, and definitely a worthy purchase if you don't already have the DC, or PS2 versions. This game is one of my all time favorite fighter games, and I still love it despite the response problems this game has with the standard Xbox controller. Although I have played with an S-Type controller I have yet to buy one, but I think I may finally do so in hopes that the controller will help be play this game better on the Xbox.
The sound is quite a bit better than the DC version; I can actually hear the taunts and "Ha-do-kens" without having additional volume like I had to have for the DC version of the game. Graphically, however, the game disappoints. Its sad to think that in two years the 3D polygon world has advanced so much that we have amazing pieces of work like Ninja Gained on Xbox, or the Resident Evils on GameCube, but when it comes to 2D sprites things still have jagged edges, and still animate stiffly, even if they are moving quickly. I'd think that Capcom could have easily tweaked the game graphically to enhance the experience, but they didn't. This game looks just like the DC version. I had high hopes for this port, but with no online play, and with no enhancements to the game over all I feel very strongly that getting rid of the DC version in anticipation for this version was a mistake. Definitely pick this up if you don't have the DC or PS2 version of the game though. It's still one of the most fun fighter games of all time, even if the standard Xbox controller isn't the most responsive.

OK this game has alright graphics compared to my other games [halo, james bond nightfire, and terminator] but I really miss out on having no storyline. When you start you just go pick a team and start battling. You have to win in order to get points and it is really lame what you can buy with 400 points, I mean who cares whether your charachter gets a new color! And in order to buy new charachters that are worth using points on you have to win a lot. Like you can get about 4 or 500 points for getting to level four, an the good charachters cost 2300 points. so before you buy the game you might want to get halo or terminator oh yeah and if you get the game keep the recipt!!!

Awesome!!!
