Great stuff...

First of all, this is one funny game! The humor does get a little contrived and juvenile, but there are plenty of laughs for... err.. more (im)mature gamers. The "Slopranos" chapter with the singing dung heap is just priceless!

Be aware that this game is not only much raunchier than the usual Rare platform game, but much shorter... that's not really a bad thing, though. Many people thought that the repetitive nature of Donkey Kong 64 and the Banjo games caused by the need to revisit every level many times bogged down the fun. I might concur, as I played completely through Conker, and have yet to get every last bit in the the other games. Conker is very linear. For the most part, you can't really diverge from the path, and there isn't a ton of hidden stuff. Personally, after slogging through Jet Force Gemini (60+ hours to find every last little bit), I found Conker's approach refreshing. It was nice to finish a level and just be done with it! Also, after you have finished a chapter, you can replay it from the main menu if you want to anyway.

The game is split in half, really. The first half is more standard platforming, while the second half is more of a 3rd person shooter, similar to, but in some ways better than, Jet Force Gemini. I really enjoyed the shooter aspect. The controls are smooth, it's funny to watch the cute furry charcters blown to kingdom come, and the weapons are cool. The game can be frustrating at times, and it is fairly difficult, but I can't imagine any gamer not finding SOMETHING to love about Conker. It is also packed with a full-featured selection of smooth, fun, multiplayer games that would be worth the cost of the cartridge alone. Even if you are not in love with the 1 player mode, you'll will spend hours with the multiplayer games, which are the best yet on N64. A great "swan song" for the N64! Now, I'm really looking forward to gamecube!

Well, its been quite sometime since I wrote a review and I have finally found the game to get me writing again. CBFD is quite possibly the funniest game I have ever played. The opening scene of the game had me rolling off of my bad in laughter. It was if Nintendo struck gold.

The characters are complicated and the voices are just as funny as any movie you could buy today. The scarecrow is reason enough for purchasing the game and Nintendo found its new vixen in Berry, Conker's girlfriend.

True, the game is a bit raw in content with its sexual innuendos and cursing characters and is not suitable for children, but I am not a child. If you are of age and want to buy a funny game, get this one.

I think Nintendo has finally found its new game franchise and I hear that there will be one for the GameCube. I certainly hope so and thanks to Nintendo my prayers have been answered. The greatest game will return on the Cube platform. METROID!!!!!!

Rare does it again!

I've been looking forward to this game for a long time and expecting a lot from it I was afraid I was going to be disappointed. But alas, Rare has made yet another gem! Everything about this game is top notch. The graphics are among the best I've ever seen in a N64 game and the sound is so absolutely amazing you'll be thinking you're playing on a CD based system! I personally don't find the content to be anything worse than a PG-13 movie. If you take all of the obsenities it is actually one of Rare's cutesiest platformers yet. Little old lady type catfish, talking pitchforks, and other characters are hear that wouldn't seem out of place in Banjo-Tooie or any other Rare platformer. The gameplay is also amazing and varied. And the cutscene leading up to the ending is brilliant! Definately check this game out.

Okay, I have to touch this subject first off. I rented this game for 5 days and almost beat it, every level, every hint. And NOTHING in this great game was anything I hadn't already heard from my own parents or on a PG-13 movie. The rating is total bull. That aside, this game will live on as the last great game ever made for the N64. Conker's mouth has the best animation I've ever seen, and the sounds of Pooland are hilarious! Conker's voice is better than the one given to him on "Diddy Kong Racing" and I'm glad RARE made this because they had been slugging with "Donkey Kong 64". I will never get tired of this game! Oh, one more thing, it's a teen game, and 13 year olds ARE teenagers.

Excellent Game

The graphics and sound of this game are very good, and the voice acting, I belive, deserves much credit. Especially seeing as only TWO people did ALL of the characters voices in the game, yet each one sounds as varied as the last. The game is rock hard in certian parts, and often slightly frusturating in others. The game is also wickedly funny, and really has to be seen to be belived.

Conker's Bad Fur Day is a great must have game for all people mature enough to play it. It combines great graphics, good play control,(Much needless swearing,so to speak,)and alot more great control. It has very funny movie ripoffs, such as Resivoar Dogs, The Exorsist, The Matrix, and IndependenceDay.This is a great game, but if they made a movie of this game, it should be rated R. This is one game, that the kiddies shouldent see

Conker could kick Mario's ...[but]@$$ any day!

Well, its true. Anyway, I haven't officially BOUGHT the game yet, I just keep on renting, and renting, and renting, and renting, ect. This game is definately one of the greatest games available for the N64. First up is graphics. They are beautiful. BFD looks as good as Banjo-Tooie, while keeping a smoothe framerate. Next, we have music. Instead of the normal MIDIs that dribble out of games, BFD uses MP3s for its music, and it really does show. Also, the Great Mighty Poo's song is SOOOOOOOO catchy. 3rd, we have voices {for once}. They are great. Conker has an endearing little lisp, Berri {Conker's girlfriend} has that like, y'know, Valley Girl talk. All of the voices are incredibily done. And, most importantly, humor. This game is funny, but in that South Park kind of way. Also, to Nintendo, if you ever make a Super Smash Brothers 2, BE SURE TO PUT CONKER IN IT! Because we all would like to see who the REAL king of the video game mascots is.

The best game for N64 is also the naughtiest

Now here is an example of a good game. Conkers BFD is a good slapstick game it's so fun. The game has good comedy and lots of violant gameplay with makes it so fun even though it's very inmature. And the Multiplayer is the best thing around. My only small problem with the game is as conker would say the #@&*%$# camera. Other than that it's the greatest N64 game around.

funny, funny, funny
