Fairly Disappointing

I was excited to finally see a RPG on Xbox that was able to get my attention. I have always been a fan of the Final Fantasy series and looked forward to getting my hands on an RPG that had the graphics capabilities of the Xbox. I was quickly impressed by the looks of Sudeki, smooth textures, great colors, very nice. I was just as quickly disappointed by the rest of the game. The voices are terrible, and the music is even worse. I play most of the game without the volume up. The absolute worst feature of the game, though, is it's simplicity. As I said, I'm a Final Fantasy fan, long games with quests that are at least challenging. This game lacks both of those features. It is extremely short for an RPG and there is no such thing as a challenging quest. Also, they max out your experience at level 30, there is a pretty short list of special skills that you can learn, and a very small assortment of weapons. This is probably a good RPG to start a 10 year old off with...

Bad, bad, bad, BAD

I like RPG's they are my favorite genre of games so when I saw this at my local videostore I decided to try it. THANK GOD I rented it and didnt buy it or I would be really mad that I blew $50 (at the time) to buy this peice of crap. The voice overs are terrible and the storyline is odd and whats with the whole switching to first person mode on the sorceress and the scientist characters thats soooo dumb. Im not going to go on complaining any more but just know that if you are looking for a good RPG you may want to try these:

1. Fabe (XB)
2. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals (GC)
3. Any PS2 final fantasy game
4. Xmen Legends (XB, PS2, GC?)
5. Harvest moon (GC, Sims + Old Mcdonald)

Try those instead there much better than this

Avoid pre-ordering this

Usually when a game relies on sex appeal (females with big breasts in skimpy outfits), it ends up being a poor game. Even at the E3 convention, it relied on models in skimpy clothing to grab the attention of the dominant gamer population (males). Why not use the graphics and gameplay for that? (Note: I'm a straight male.)

All in all, I am not saying that this will be a bad game (it actually looks descent in the previews), just avoid pre-ordering it until valid reviews appear.

What can I say? I love my Sudeki!

Ignore all the negativity. This game rocks. What are you waiting for? Go buy it. You'll love it. You won't be able to resist Ailish's healing kiss. Trust me.

Could Be Great

From what i have played so far Sudeki seems to have a lot of potential.Sudeki is a Rpg with tons of puzzels(like Zelda), and has real time combat(similar to KOTR,but much more fast pase). There are 4 playable Characters, Tal who is a soilder, Ailish a mage,Elco a science officer, and last Buki a tribal warrior. Each character has his/her special abilites in combat and out of combat.I am not to sure what Sudeki is about but i do know that you will be able to travel to 3 different worlds and each world is suppose to be enormous. All in all Sudeki will more than likely be a succes

THIS GAME IS GONNA BE THE worst (...) WHEN IT COMES OUT FOR THE XBOX....... I'M A HUGE FF SERIES FAN AND I'VE BEEN ONE SINCE IT CAME OUT ON THE NES AND I KNOW FOR SURE WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT SUDEKI IS GONNA BE A HUGE SUCCESS WHEN IT FIRST COMES OUT AND ALSO FOR THE SUDEKI SEQUELS AFTER IT. SO FOR THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE JUST LISTEN TO ME AND TRY THE GAME OUT FIRST CAUSE IT'S WORTH IT.

Great!!

Like many other Xbox-owning RPG & adventure game fans, I eagerly anticipated the release of Sudeki. I have to say there were many things about this game that were worth the anticipation. The battle system is fairly well done, the graphics are colourful and attractive (in a pseudo-anime type of style) and the special powers of each character give the combat some variety. You get a nice variety of bad guys to fight which gives Sudeki points over the much-lauded (but boringly repetitive) Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Unfortunately, the story is just not up to the high standards set by games like Morrowind and KOTOR. For an RPG, a good story is a crucial part of the experience, but the developers of Sudeki seem not to think so. I never felt totally drawn in, compelled to keep playing so I could find out what would happen next. The character development is cheesy and melodramatic, and the plot is quite thin. I did enjoy the gameplay but it was fairly easy to put the controller down and go do something else. I am still waiting for the next great Xbox RPG.

Something great

this game was pretty good , overall ... but there were quite a few things that could have been improved on

some things that were rong wit it were that it was very short ( around 20 hours ) for an RPG , the replay value was not very good , its like u finish it and u have no reason to play it over unless u didnt do everything the first time . the side quests were kinda boring , it was mostly just fetch so and so amount of some random item . also , it ended off too abruptly ( u beat the last boss and it immediatly starts rollin the credits ) another thing that was bad was the plot was a little too predictable . also , you should have been able to have a broader amount of choices for the conversations .

the good sides of the game were the combat and graphics i think . you couldnt button mash or ud miss out on the cool combos . then when u use the ranged u get into a FPS mode . The skill strikes were fun to watch , and powerful , but not overly so (and it did get annoying after awhile . the characters were not so bad ( i dont c y ppl decide they dont like the game just because they put Aillish on the front , and she looks like a bit of a whore , i mean , the costumes change thru the game .. ) the voices werent too annoying ( u get used to it after awhile ) and besides , they used real peoples voices , which is pretty impressive in itself , being as there were so many NPCs and stuff

so , i think that this is a good game . and since xbox is lacking in the RPG department u should consider getting it . but , i suggest if u r thinking of getting it , wait until the price drops and save the bulk of ur money for other games that r coming out in the near future

i hope this review helped u understand this game
