This game is for the destructive kid in all of us. It has full, all out high speed action, spectacular car crashes and great team as well as versus play.
Make as much money causing mass destruction or win new cars by knocking out the most oppents.
Overall a fun game to play.

All for Burnout say "Aye"

This is an awesome game! This is for people who want Burnout Revenge-Sized action. The Road Rage is insane and the music is good. This game is the reason it has won so many awards, thanks to EA.

Takedown is simply one of the greatest games made. The games main attraction is that it encourages you to take unnecessary risks (such as big jumps, driving in the wrong lane, and crashing other cars) by awarding you with boost or turbo. The system works extremely well. The game setup is another attraction. It is setup in a map feature where you can jump from event to event. At all times multiple events will be unlocked allowing you to progress even if you can't complete one race. This keeps the fun coming and allows most people to finish the majority of the game. Takedown has a great sense of speed. Your palms will sweat and your eyes sting, becuase if you blink its over.

Now that the game is only $20 there is absolutely no reason not to buy this stellar game.

I have since played Revenge on the Xbox and 360 and Takedown is still the best of the series.

Awesome Game!

This is probably my all time favorite car racing game. I LOVE IT! The only one that might be slightly better is the PSP version. But that's because I can take that version with me.

But for gameplay on my 55 inch widescreen, this game is bomb baby!

Very realistic! I love the custom soundtracks. I love to put in great smooth jazz and 80's hits, while I race around the roads, and run over other cars! It rocks!

Buy this game, and enjoy videogaming for life!

Burnout 3 as you can guess is the third in the series, and the first to be published by EA. The first thing that hits you about this gameis the sheer pace of it, to begin with i couldn't stop crashing, but keep playing and you get the hand of it. The music is not really to my taste, but thaaks to the X-box you can listen to your own soundtracks. The DJ is very annoying but you can switch it off. I lov the road rage mode and the crash junctions. the game is very addictive but once you get further in the game it gets very fustrating. overall great game and the most fun i have had for ages, but not quite perfect enough to earn the perfect 5 stars

Blurry when you go fast but hey SWEET GAME!!

I rented this game and it is the best racing game ever! The impact thingy is good for taking out ur opponents when they make you crash.

Get this for xbox(Xbox live) not for ps2(unless you have a memory card)

Great game, but...

This is a great game, lots of fun, awesome graphics. That said...

I know this is a piddly complaint, but you what I'd like to see? One good solid racing game that lets you play four players at a time on one Xbox (or other platform).

I know they let you do system link play and pass-the-controller type stuff, but imagine twelve people racing at once on three xboxes via system link. That's the mode I'd like to see next. So, game developers, hear me! Make a four-at-a-time mode for a single system! Thanks.

EA murders their own game next door NFSU2

EA brings out NFSU2 at the same time as Burnout 3 which is like releasing CounterStrike1.2 and CounterStrike Source at the same time. NFSU2 players will find themselves in that whole ¨but NFSU2 has real cars, real physics, real world detail, and don't crash perfectly because the real car manufacturers don't want to show us that¨ while fans of Burnout 3 will say, okay if that it what you want but I prefer MORE SPEED and the crash control physics where you can spin your car in slow motion, win more points via damages and then burn off at speeds of over 250mph.

Burnout 3 really does it in aces. The start screen says here is car, learn the rules about scoring boost points by dodging traffic, earn extra cars by causing more damage, use slow motion to crash control your car while in the lead to inflict mass damage on the five opponents trailing behind. Then when you win just keep pressing X, see the menu screen, new country open, new race, new car, X again, Vroooooooooom... SMASH... do it all over again till the cows come home.

Nothing more to say than outside of Driver 3 or GTA San Andreas, this is best car smash simulator that has the speed over all the others. God it is good.

Pros
. Simply smashing.
. Faster than NFSU2.
. Slow motion crash control physics.
. Great tracks and realistic traffic.
. New gameplay and scoring.
. Not in the least bit like Burnout 1 or 2.
. Tons of multiplayer and single player variations.

Cons
. Burnout 1 and 2 may turn people off this one. It should not though.
. No free riding.
. Realism pretty much goes out the window with this concept.

So much fun (EVEN IN ITS DEMOS!!!)

Ok, before I tell you about this game lets get one thing straight, I HATE RACING GAMES!!!! I have no racing games in my collection of games, I can't express enough how much I hate racing games (and how boring they are).

Ok, on to my review.

Burnout 3 came to me as a demo in the OMX Magazine (every time a demo of a racing game comes in the demo disc I would think "omg another racing game that is wasting valuable space, they could be having a demo of a action game, but nooooooooooooo they had to put in a stupid racing game). Well, i eventually tried Burnout 3 (it was an online demo only) I went online and got into a race (it was Road Rage)and it started, the moment I saw my first crash I was like " OMG this is the best ****ing game I've ever played (even better than HALO 2!!!)Screw KOTOR 2 I'm getting Burnout 3 for x-mas.

Pros:
Very addictive
Excellent graphics
Surperb crashes
Excellent game modes
No lag (well mabey a little)

And there is probably more pros in the acual game

Cons

Bad announcer
Bad grammar (ex: Blue team are escaping)
