Marvellous End to A Stupendous Game

This continues the story of Hans Voralberg and concludes it satisfactorily.
The graphics are as luscious as in Syberia. The gameplay is as smooth and bug-free. The animation exceeds that in its forebear (who knew that was possible). Cut-scenes: without par. Story: as engaging as ever.
Much is made about the puzzles. The alleged 'easiness' does not bother me. I play these games to relax after doing way too much thinking at my office every day. :-)
I would like you to consider what the complaints about the ending say about the story: that nobody wanted it to end. The ending is completely appropriate and fulfilling. Wanting to go back and 'finish' some things or 'get Kate home' is really just a clamouring for 'MORE MORE MORE'.
I highly recommend that all adventure gamers (and even those who are not) get both Syberia and Syberia 2 and play this wonderful story.
Overall an enjoyable game!

Siberia 1 was actually the first PC game I had ever played. My brother-in-law thought it would be helpful in keeping me busy during recovery after an extended hospital stay. He was right. He had to help me quite a bit of the way through the 1st one, but I had fun learning from this particular game.
I asked for Siberia 2 as a gift and was excited to play it, as well. I very much enjoyed the graphics of both and liked the fact that I was able to watch "myself" as the character, Kate Walker, rather than being in the first person, as you are in some other games.
I agree that some of the puzzles had absolutely no logic whatsoever, particularly in the 2nd one. That was quite frustrating. Most of the puzzles were fairly logical and with a bit of thought I was able to work through them. There were many times that you had no choice but to back-track in order to accomplish what you had to do, and I found that quite tiresome, as well.
Having said those few negatives comments, however, I loved the story of both of the Siberia games and had a lot of fun playing them. They were a great introduction to the PC adventure gaming experience for me, and I'm glad that I was introduced to them.
I definitely would recommend them to others. They do take some patience, but the story and the graphics really were good, and worth the few spots where you just throw up your hands and have to peek at the "helps and hints" so you can continue the joy in the journey! :o)
Absolutely the best

If you like adventure games and you don't have this one, run right out and get it! 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10 out of 10.
Superb graphics, great story line with twists, story-relevant puzzles, engaging characters, first rate voice acting, all that and an even sexier, more mysterious Kate.
Absolute mammoo......

This game was just as much fun as the original - beautiful graphics and challenging-but-not-too-hard gameplay.
I wish they had kept going with this game (a third installment) - I found the story to be well thought out and intricate.
Technically, the game never stuttered on my XP machine - very smooth and a lot of fun!
