I am Turok...

This is a pretty fun game. If you haven't heard of the Turok series before, you play as a dinosaur hunter and blast away anything that crosses your path. The story is pretty lame, but what can you expect?

The graphics are pretty good and there are a number of different weapons. However, for whatever reason you will sometimes lose the guns that you had in the previous level--this is the most annoying aspect of the game. I remember saving the ammo for this really powerful weapon only to find that on the next level I couldn't access the weapon anymore!

Another problem with this game is that the load times are pretty long.

The AI is pretty good, and you'll find that some enemies can be quite hard to beat.

Some of the levels were pretty well designed but others were just painful to play because you had to jump on to areas that you couldn't even see (referring to one of the levels with all of the traps in the jungle).

The multiplayer mode is pretty fun, but I can't help but think that Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was a better game than this.

Better than the PS2 version because of one reason...

And that reason is THE FRAME-RATE! The framerate in the game is probely the best you can find on any console [Serious Sam: next enounter is close second]Everything else in the game is the same. You can go with the PS2 and the XBOX versions, but this one should be your choice. The only bad thing that seprates the PS2 and the XBOX from the GAMECUBE is the loading time. It is long!!

I purchased this game with some doubt because some people told me this game [was poor]. When i got the game i played multiplayer with my friend and all the doubt was gone. It is soo much fun and has tons of cool weapons. A MUST HAVE! I usually don't like first person shooters but I love this game. THere's only one thing i don't like about it, in Multiplayer you have to have inverted controls.

I cant wait for this game to come out! it sounds kool being a dino hunter and going through forests and jungles with ALOT of wepons.I dont know that much about this but I know its AWSOME!.

when it comes out i am REALLY going to get this game, BUY IT!!

GORY!! Granted I just purchased the game yesterday, haven't read any reviews, and only played it for about a half-hour, but it is pretty sweet. The graphics are excellent, especially the grass which flows nicely when you walk through it, or when the wind blows it. Unfortunately, the wind isn't the only thing that blows in this game. The contolls are horrible and will definitly take a long time or even the experienced gamer to get a handle on. But I am sure we can all overcome this problem and enjoy the murder and mayhem that is killing futuristic dinosaurs with nuclear wepons and a bow and arrow. . . ENJOY!!

I haven't seen my kids since they got this game

OK i am not a kid i am 13 but 4 some reason i can not enter sign up properly so i took the Kids one.Turok:Evolution is rated M because no it has no bad language,but is full of Blood and Gore like its predessors.I hope this helped 2 Monkey Moms from Randy Orton`s(WWE wrestler) home of St. Louis,Missouri,USA.So thats why its M rated if you do buy this game for small children be informed of it nature.So still its dinosaur action horror-thriller FPS game and its fun.Hope it helped.

I've been having this game for a few months, and this is one of very few games that i play again and again. The graphics are great and the levels are good. If you are a Turok fan you'll love this game. They also have some pretty amazing guns. Buy this game if you want to have hours of fun.

Turok: Evolution is a FPS game about Tal'Set or Turok, who was sent back in time to help save the world from hordes of enemies controlled by Tyrannus. The levels are well done, except for the polygonal walls and bushes. The gore level is over the top and should not be taken lightly. The AI have started to patrol instead of wait. There are now some dinosaurs that won't attack that you shouldn't. Some levels are very hard. Chapter 2, Part 2 is one of the hardest levels, though Chapter 6, Part Three is the hardest FPS level you will ever have to go through! I think the addition of snipers and zooming is great! Now you can hide and kill lizards from a safe distance. I recomend this game, but ask Parents first! This games gore level is like, 9 out of 10. That is even worse then Vice City. The movies are great and have dazzling graphics. That is all I have to say. Scare you later.

I got this game looking forward to a good first person shooter and what I got was a game with some of the worst controls I have ever experienced, along with graphics that were worse than the older version of the same game. Not only that I thought the story was totally underdeveloped and everything about this game screamed, "we need a first person shooter out now, dont worry about the details just finish it!!!" Overall I would not suggest this game to my worst enemy it is that bad for me. I am willing to learn to deal with tricky controls but this game frustrated me to no end.
