This is a great game. The first time I played this game was actually at "TOYS R US" and then I played it at my friends house. I liked it so much I begged my parents to get it for me and eventually they did!!! I play it all the time!!! I have all of the characters. I enjoy playing this game with my friends and kicking their butts!! I love this game.

This game is just like the one on the nintendo, but with better graphics, more players, more battle levels, and modes. This is a definate best seller for the gamecube. There are about 20 characters from Bowser to the Ice Climbers, along with secret characters like Mewtwo and Ganondorf. i still play this game all the time and enjoy it a lot. I think that just about everyone else will too

If you're looking for a multiplayer game then look no further!!! Super Smash bros. Melee is an all out bash with new characters, old characters, adventure mode, multiplayer, hidden treats(like sound test), trophies and of course, fun. You can choose any out of atleast 20 different characters to smash 'n bash your opponent. The only unfun part is that it is multiplayer so if you have no one to destroy it gets boring, but luckily it has adventure mode. SOME hidden caracters: Jigglypuff, Dr.Mario, Pichu, Luigi and Young Link don't think I'll spoil the surprise of finding characters, but, I have heard that if you get all the characters a certain wacko character will apear...

Super Smash Bros. Melee is an amazing sequel to the N64 version. New charcters, such as Bowser, Princess Peach, the Ice Climbers and Princess Zelda are amazing fun and new modes such as Tournament mode(up to 64 players) and coin mode are really fun. Amazing graphics and hilarious videos bring Pikachu, Mario, DK, Fox, Link and all the other Smash characters to life. Although it's coming out on December the 3rd in America, keep an eye on it.
A Great Game, For Begginers and Experts

Well, I can't say for sure about the expert part, being a novice myself. But I can tell you is that if you have a Game Cube, this game ought to be number one on your list. What's great about Smash Bros. is the variety of options available to you, even when you're just starting out. In one player mode, you can play either classic mode, in which you battle random characters, adventure mode, in which you have to battle through several stages before winning, and, after unlocking all of the characters, all star mode, which allows you to battle one to three characters at a time! Don't worry begginers, there are five difficulty settings from very easy to expert. And that's just playing under regular! Also available to you are 51 different event matches that have you complete specific goals (I have already beaten 49 of them), stadium made which includes target tests (stages suited to your character's specific abilities where you must break 10 targets) home run contest and Multi-Man Melee, and training which isn't really that useful but is good while testing out a variety of moves.
The second part of the game is VS mode where one to four players can battle eachother all at once. You can also set up a team battle and options allow you to pick amongst a variety of different games, allow you to pick or choose an item, and any other rules. You can also play under tournament where the computer picks anywhere from 4-64 random characters, depending on how many characters you want to be human, and begins the tournament. Another area allows you to pick some special melees such as giant melee and invisible melee.
To keep the game going, trophies are introduced that you can collect, I hear over 300. You can sometimes earn trophies by completing certain tasks or picking them up randomly during Adventure Mode. You can also earn coins wich go towards winning at the lottery. Don't be fooled by a garanteed new trophy by just putting one coin in at the beggining. Soon it will become harder and harder to get new trophies, and you need to put more and more coins into the machine. Also several other unlockables including new characters, stages, and event matches keeps the game from growing too old, too fast.
Learning how to control your character is easy and not easily forgotten. The graphics are fine, I haven't spotted a flaw yet. On the other hand, I'm not particularly stingy about the graphics, I just care how much fun the game is. A few minor grievances. When trying to turn on or off an item, it can be a bit of a hassle to go down an entire list of items to find the specific one you want on or off. Also, once you've started a tournament, there's no way to stop it, so you'd better be ready to play all the way through. Other than that, it's a great game, a definite if you own a Game Cube.

This game is so versitile. There are so many things to unlock and lots of Nintendo characters to fight with. It also has contests, vs modes, and three one player arcade modes. There are lots of trophies to find and lots of items to use when fighting. It is rumored that you can get Paper Mario as a playable character, i don't know if this is true. I do know some of the unlockable characters are Falco, Ganandorf, Roy, Marth, Mewtwo, Mr. Time and watch, Dr. Mario, Luigi, Pichu, Jiggly Puff, and Young Link. The regular characters are Mario, Bowser, Princess, Zelda/Shiek, Kirby, Pikachu, Link, Pe-king, Star Fox, CPT Falcon, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Ice Climers, and one other one which I can't think of now. There are 14 regular characters and 25 all together. This game rocks, especially for versus battles with your friends. It has several stages to fight in, some of which you have to unlock.

This is a super fun game for all ages and experiance levels!! While I'm not very good with electronic games my son rocks! He didn't have any trouble getting the hang of it. but the point is, is that I didn't have any trouble either! So we can play on the same team or against each other, even my adult friends get in on the fun while visiting.
