this game doesn't compare to Super Mario 64. he kills his foes using a water gun, and cleans up all the graffiti. i wish nintendo would put Super Mario 64 on gamecube like they did with zelda: ocarana of time, but maybe improve the graphics, add one or two more levels and stars or something, but keep it pretty much the same.

Ok every one looking for the best game?If you are then don't get this one. This is by far the worst gamecube game I've ever played.No Bowser no gomba not even a castle.Insted of having Mario throw sunflower seeds they have him shoot an over groan supersoker that looks like a vacuum-cleaner!And for all you Yohsy lovers get this he dies in water and atacks by spitting fruit-juice!...

Mario is always gonna be good. I liked this game, Its fun but let me list the pros and cons.
Pros: good graphics and control. The water effects rock.
enemys cool, good storyline. Xtras good.
cons:camera needs work, some stuff is dumb.
At parts its hard but thats ok.
If your a mario fan this game is pretty good. (-:

This game has a different style for you to play as mario. You get blamed for painting delfino with grafitti so you must clean it up. It is very colorful and the graphics are great. Super Mario Sunshine has secrets to. The theme song is the same but a remix of the older version. Buy it now

This is a very good, adventurus game! Very cool and fun at the same time, you get an exclusive time of hours and hours of playing the great (and best) The new Mario game called
SuperMarioSunshine! The good thought is that the Nintendo company knew a bunch of ideas which is very helpful through-out the game. The bad thought is you don't see much different graffics from SuperMario 64 (from Nintendo 64) and SuperMarioSunshine. But, if you buy the game, you can see that the new Mario game is much more better than SuperMario 64 (which is, of coarse, better). Another good thing is that there is not very much cheats inside the game. But, however, you get the feeling that SuperMarioSunshine is more friendly than the other Mario games.The game holds the levels, over 50 I think.
There is another bad thing, the sound are o.k, but are very simular to the other Mario games.
You may know that the famous Mario, has not much changed his life for a long time (a hero, liked by Peach and very famous).
Anyway, Bowser will not turn up in the game.
Other, and better, enemys will turn very often in the game.
Well, the Nintendo company knew a lot of humour
(like jumping in other peoples heads).

I have owned every type of Nintendo platform, and played all of the Mario games. This game soooo rocks!! This game is fun, challenging, and did I mention fun??? I played for a while without a strategy guide and I thought I was doing o.k.- until I bought a strat. guide and discovered how much I was missing out on. I highly reccommend getting a guide, it will not only make the game a little easier- but it will also help you make the best of the game. I love everything about this game- the graphics, the music, and how fun it is to play.

Let The Sunshine with the best game on Gamecube yet!

In this game you would be Mario the pudgy red plumber trying to get awy from it all and a see-through watery looking mario comes along with some toxic paint and starts to tag thing. Of corse you take it as your duty to get rid of all the tag that looks like a M and a mostach and you find FLUDD (flash liquidization ultra dousing device) and it's made by prof. E. Gadd and you get blamed. All in all you'll love and the Graphics are amazing and all other aspects of the game are astonishing!

This game is the coolest. Its graphics rock.The game play outstanding. The Replay value is outstanding it took me two months to beat the game. So far its the coolest game on gamecube.

Mario's Back For the Cube!!!!

The Story starts out with Mario, Princess Peach and her butler, Toadsworth, on their way to the interestingly-shaped Tropical Paradise of Isle Delfino for a well-deserved vacation. However, all is not well, there is a Mario look-alike (or Shadow Mario if you will...) running amock and polluting the island with some strange kind of paint-like goop coming from what appears to be a big paintbrush in his hand. After the plane lands on Delfino Airstrip, Mario finds the only thing that can help him in his quest to rid the island of this problem, F.L.U.D.D (Flash Liquidiser Ultra Dousing Device), which was created by Gadd Science Inc. (Professor E. Gadd). After cleaning up the airstrip, two Pianta (Natives) officers arrest Mario and sentence him to clean up the whole island! He soon finds out that the Island's main source of power, the Shine Sprites have all dissappeared and he must find them all and return the island to it's former beauty... It won't be an easy task, but nothing worthwhile ever is!!

Overall, this is an awesome game. I rented it and I already beat the final boss. Since it's a Mario Game, you already know it's gonna be a sloberknocker. The gameplay is pretty much like Super Mario 64. The moves are exactly the same, you collect coins, and instead of collecting 120 power stars, you collect these things called Shine Sprites. (You'll find out what they are soon enough...) Even if you never played Super Mario 64, no need to worry, you'll be doing backflips and wall kicks in no time at all.

Super Mario Sunshine is Mario's first Gamecube release that he can call his own. The graphics are phenominal, gameplay rules, however, there is only one flaw, the final boss battle was too easy. (I won't spill the info on who you fight and when...) Even though it won't change the face of gaming like Mario 64 did, it is a good game to have. If I was to rate this game on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 9. If the final boss was a little more challenging, it would've been perfect. Enough conversation, GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!
