Glitchy, ugly on GCN

Bounty Hunter is a mediocre, glitchy shoot-em-up with one of the worst set of controls I've ever encountered on the GCN. I rented it for a weekend, and all I can say is that I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

Word of warning to GCN owners: there is a cinematics glitch in this game. Three times I played through to the end of the second level, and two of those three times it froze up during the end-of-level cinematic. A friend also experienced this! Yet another reason why ports are a waste of money.

The graphics are about what I'd expect from a multi-platform port, i.e. nothing special. Once I've played games like Resident Evil and Pikmin, I have to judge every GCN game to their standard of graphics, and BOUNTY HUNTER doesn't match; it looks like a very pretty PS2 game, at best, and the greatest thing that can be said is that it keeps the flavor of the STAR WARS universe well. The story is generic, though apparently at higher levels it ties into ATTACK OF THE CLONES. The levels weren't well designed. And character control is obnoxious--in order to complete all the tasks on a level, you must scan the bad guys for bounties, but getting your scanner on and working takes several seconds (it isn't a one-button task), and getting your guns back out takes several more, and by that time you're dead!

This has to be one of the greatest games i have EVER played. I only played the store demo so far but i want it for christmas. The only thing i have to say to X-BOX owners is: HAHA!

I havent really played the game yet,but I've read reviews. It seems that it takes you into the dark and evil world of Jango Fett, Jango first appered in Stars Wars Episode II Attack of the colones, if you didn't know. 6 worlds and 18 mindblowing levels full of action and adventure. WOW!!! It is on the top of my Star Wars Gamecube games list.

I really liked it, and there is few feelings like scanning a person that doesn't even know you are there, then jumping with your wipcord and capturing them. I also like toasting unsuspecting bad dancers with a flame thrower. The only problem is the fact that it is extremely hard to target one person, and try to get his bounty while you are being shot by like 15 guys. The graphics are so-so, but the sound and the music is pretty good. overall, it is a pretty good game.

One word, AWESOME!!!!!!!!

This game is by far the best game for gamecube.(well, one of the best)It is so long it won't take you 10 minutes to complete. It took me 50 minutes on the second mission!!

GTA + STARWARS + HALO= you lose xbox and this is a winner

in a sense this is gta 3, it has a huge arsenel of guns, weapons and anything that gta has but its better because of the huge levels (fly...yes fly over courasunt, the nyc of starwars,) and if you look at the other pix you will see the carnage of jango fett. NOTE TO ANYONE WHO HAS CLONE WARS... THE DEMO VID U GET ON THAT GAME IS NOT THE REAL DEAL...THE GRAFIX ARE MUCH BETTER and if you prefer being a jedi than try jedi outcast.

Undoubtedly the best game ever!

I tell ya as soon as I saw the trailer for this game I was completly blown away. This game makes me feel sorry for anyone who owns a XBOX. The graphics look awesome and the arsenal of weapons is huge plus ITS ABOUT JANGO FETT, NEED I SAY MORE?!?!?

Even if you don't realy like Star Wars get this game, what could be better than a jetpack, double basters and lots of other cool stuff so from my point of veiw this is better then Halo on Xbox not that it isn't a great game.

Out of all the Star wars games i have played i enjoy this game the most, You take on Small armies basicaly and you can have fun using fancy backflips and rolls. The controls are simple and using all of jango fets gadgets including, Ordanary laser pistol, a jet pack and even the flame thrower!!! You are a mercanary and yoou must capture or kill bountys that can even be Hostile!! I give it 5 stars.
