This game is excellent - the story, graphics, sound, effects, reality, playability and everything else you want in a game are great. Make sure you have a decent video card though. This game requires a very good video card for maximum satisfaction. I began playing with my onboard card and enjoyed the game but wanted to enjoy it at its full potential so I went out and bought a good 64MB video card for... It was well worth it and I would recommend that anyone who buys this game should do the same. All in all this game was great and everyone should enjoy it!

This fps is very immersive compared to many of the shooters out on the market right now. The storyline was very involving and kept things interestin. The best aspect about the battles were the saber battles. Being able to control how you swing made things 10 times better than the battles in jedi knight dark forces. I found the puzzles frustrating at times but if your patient it's not too bad. I feel the puzzles helped slow down the pace and break the came up a little compared to the regular run and gun products out there. The graphics were very good probably ranked 3rd to wolfenstein and max payne. The star wars universe was well created in much detail. The sound and music was great, identical to the movies. I've had no problems running the program. I have a celeron 466, 192 ram, gforce 2 mx and I can run the game at full with about 40% stuttering in heated battle. Turning 2 options down to medium made the game very smooth in all areas. Anyways it's a great game and it's gotten all high scores on all the review sites.
The best Star Wars game I've played!

This game just ROCKS!! If you've played Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of The Sith (which I haven't played, but I will), then you'll know what it's like to be Kyle Katarn! But, it's more fun with cheats. I use cheats all the time! Honestly though, this game will rock your world just as it did mine!
Greatest Star Wars Game Ever, but some faults

Simply put, this is the best star wars game made to date and a very good fps all around. The graphics (especially with a good graphics and/or video card) are exellent, and the gameplay is a lot of fun. The levels are a nice size of a Quake III engine, and the NPC's (Non-Player Characters) are done in good detail (although sometimes they look like their eyes are about to pop out of their heads). But the best part is the lightsaber combat, which is a ton of fun. The third-person view really makes you feel like you are in a SW movie, and the elagant fighting style is great. In fact, it may be a good reason to buy the game, just for the saber combat, it is that good. When you turn on model dismemberment, it is very realistic, as the stormtrooper will even grasp the hand that you just cut off. Really cool.
My only problems with the game are the loooong load times and the other weapons. Some (such as the DEMP 2 or the Bryar Pistol) of the weapons are just plain bad and are useless. There are a lot of charge up shot weapons in the game which are fine, but not good for firefights, when timing is critical. The ones that do fire fast are weak, inaccurate, and run out of ammo real fast. The best weapon is actually the E-11, that ..... looking black rifle stormtroopers use. But despite these problems, this is still a great game and I reccomend it to any SW fan and reccomend it more to anyone who really likes a quality first person shooter.
Tons-O-fun

Let me start off by telling you people why I gave this game four stars instead of five. There are a few which are not really bad things about the game, but more about how it runs. First, this game is very, well, overpriced considering it came out last year (even though it just recently came to the mac). Another problem within the game itself is if you do not have hefty system requitrments, then this will run a bit slow. I have a iMac G3 with 256 MB of ram and a 500MH. The computer is about one and a half years old. The only real time that the game will start to stall is when there are seven of eight men shooting at you, so I guess it could be a lot worse. One other thing that really bugs me is there is no compass, which means if you forget to hit a swich, then you will have to go hunt it down. Those are my only complaints with the game. I mostly like everything else, but let me tell you the best parts of the game. The controlls are very nice. The classic mouse and arrow keys set up. If you have a scroll weel on your mouse, that makes it even nicer when you swich you weapons, which leads me to another great thing about the game. The weapon selection is just great. You have everything from your plain old blaster to the lightsaber. I am also very fond of the force moves that you are able to do. I have not gotten that far, but I know the story and it is great. The visualls could be better, but that is not what makes games great. I recomend playing somewere else before you spend the 50 dollers on it. Overall, very solid.
Best Game of 2002!!!

I've been watching this game for nearly 1 year and when I got it I fell in love. The graphics are good and the gameplay is too.
the good: Great graphics, gameplay and story. Deep fan base. And Huge Multiplayer Comunity!
The Bad: Poor movies, and long loading times. Multiplayer is only good with a cabel modem. But thats it!!:)
Kyle (the main character) has so many different moves with his lightsaber that it makes you feel almost like your in a movie! I can't overrate this game. I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT!!!
Three words...... FUN, EXCITING, and REALISTIC!

This game is by far the funnest game i've ever played. If u want a game that lets u use the force and take on 1 or 2 or even 5 Reborns(evil jedi)then this is the game for u. Or if u want a game that lets u choke your opponents like the dark prince himself(Darth Vader) well, once again this is the game for u.
"Jedi Knight 2" lets u be Kyle Karatan(i think thats how u spell it) a jedi that saved The Valley of the Jedi from an evil reborn master. Long after the masters fall, he realized that there was no need for his force powers or even his light saber. So he gave it to, yep u guessed it, Luke Skywalker(if u dont know who Luke is, u dont get out much!). Anyway thats about all I know about it so far, i mean i only downloaded the demo and it was sooooo kooool! Right after i played the demo i realized that i must have this game and i went on Amazon and bought it, i suggest that u should too!
