Let me put it this way. This is yet another game that does not overcome the original. I would not say it is a waste of money, just not very good. Going between the dark and light sides of Aether becomes annoying, confusing, and difficult. Let's hope the third installment of the Metroid Prime series is better than this one.

alright metroid prime was good game but the sequal is probly better but to say gta sanandreas is gonna make bigger sales on plastation then halo 2 on xbox is retarded, but the thing u dont realize is sanandreas is comming out for xbox hense halo2>a xbox way mores sales.

and metroid prime is better than halo one and echos is probly gonna be sweet.

I kind of despise the people who have no faith in nintendo. This game is my way to get back at them.

As a big fan of the first metroid prime, this game brings back old memories. In a good way, and to a lesser extent, a bad way. In a good way, the ideas that made the first one good are there AND better. The graphics, if it can be possible, are more stunning than the first. The scan visor can stan hundreds of enemies and objects. The mechanics are just as intuitive as they used to be.
The only problem is that the game feels slightly similar with you losing all your items and having to start from the beginning like the first one. But other than this slight insignificant remark, the game is perfect.

NINTENDO RULES!!!!

This is the best out of the two Metroid gamecube games yet. The graphics are top notch for gamecube. All of the locations are also very cool.The music is terrible however, they copy some of it from the first game. This is a very challenging game especially if you havent beaten Metroid Prime 1. There are too many puzzles and rooms to get one little upgrade. The bosses are the hardest part though, you never seem have enough health. There is also too much to do during the boss fights along with trying to stay alive. Everything is focused on light and dark, even your weapons. It is not much fun because there is a strict path that you have to follow. Overall, this game is very cool ,but not much fun to play.

This is one great game. I can't wait until metroid prime 3: corruptions comes out! (nintendo website) anyway, I think its coming out :}

This is the best game ever made for any machine! This one puts the master cheese [...] to shame and the graphics are insane. It's the best game to come out on a console to date and may be the best game that will ever come out on a console.

The graphics are so tight, Samus is the coolest character on any console and even among other characters on the cube.

[...] this game is a 1000% better.

Bottom line: If you have a cube get this title, if not get a cube then get this title!

First off, this game it almost exactly the same as the original Prime. The only thing different was, well, more than one thing: the ammo system, which I hated, but now, during my second time playing the game, I got used to it. second, it was easier for me than the first one, and that really isn't saying much. And there was a certain feeling I sometimes got from it that feeling when I was playing it that there was something missing.

well, anyway, the single player was awesome, despite some bad moments. Now lets look at multiplayer.

It was good. Seriously, a friend of mine (who is a giant halo fan) played it, and actually had fun! It is a unique experience.Even though it does have lock on, it's still fun

anyways, this is a great game, just not as great as the first, so go out and get it!

How come it's called Metroid Prime 2 Anyways? I mean, didn't I kill that thing the first time? Anyways, the first one was great so I am definately looking forward to this one as well.

Metroid Prime 2 looks cool. Although I have not played any of the other Metroid games, this one sounds cool to me. I am going to get it because of its gameplay and screenshots I saw. And all you Halo 2 fans out there, don't thing this is going to be dumb just because it is from Nintendo. Halo 2 is good, and so is this. They both have strongs and weaknesses. So if you have a gamecube and a xbox buy both games!!!!!!!!
