This game looks great! It is a card based RPG, which means you go around collecting cards, and you use them to summon creatures to do battle for you. It is the first RPG available for the Gamecube, and it is also exclusive!!

¡MuY BuEnO LoCo!

This game is an excellent rpg game, but i prefer to wait for Phantasy Star Online. In this game you are a princess that has to destroy the evil on 5 kingdoms. When you are playing you must collect near 100 magic cards and fight with them.
It's also for 2 players.

Recomended...One of the better games out now.

As a mature gamer, I have been a bit disappointed with the games being released for the Game Cube over the past few months. My favorite game has been Stars Wars: Rogue Leader with Pikmin a close second. I owned Super Monkey Ball, but sold it on eBay.

Lost Kingdoms is unique, though not as unique as Pikmin. I have enjoyed playing it so far and think it is one of the better games out there now. I am still trying to master the use of the cards. There are four attributes of cards: fire, water, earth, and wood, and you need to use cards on creatures where they will have the most power. For instance, a Skeleton is water and is most effective against a fire creature, like a Hobgoblin.

Though I would expect more from Zelda. I think it is a good Adventure/RPG. The use of cards makes it fun. I have always wanted to play Magic, but my wife won't let me hang out with those kind of guys.

It is a complex game--more complex than Pikmin and I hope longer than Pikmin or Lugi's Mansion. I will still keep looking forward to the Zelda Game Cube game (next year), but this game was worth the money.

One of the best games I have ever played!

This game is awesome! I didn't even know what it was until the middle of April, at which point I said "Oh, this looks fun, I think I'll buy it." So on Saturday, I bought it, and I was blown away when I played it! A must-have for any RPG, action, or CCG game fan who owns a Gamecube.

Lost Kingdoms is an RPG(role playing game) for the Nintendo Gamecube. You have to gather cards and use them in battle to defeat your enemies. The cards have monsters on them and they get better as you progress in the game. The game has over 24 levels to beat, each of them unique. The only downside is the controls are a little hard to master, but there are three different control settings you can pick from. This game was well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone.

Empty Promises

When I first heard that Activision was developing the first RPG for the Gamecube, I shook my head in disappointment thinking it would be another cheap, boring, unpolished game. However, early previews insisted the game showed promise, and it would be the first to introduce a revolutionary real time combat system based on acquiring and organizing cards. To be fair, I remained open minded and bought it upon its release. After finishing the game in under 15 hours, I can honestly say it is one of the worst games i've played in years. To begin with, the graphics and animation leave much to be desired. All of the characters look cheap and poorly drawn. While the frame rate is excellent, the backgrounds and interactive environments are painfully plain and could very easily been produced on Playstation I. The story, or should I say the lack thereof, does not engage the gamer in the least. There are no interesting plot twists or zany characters that give RPGs that extra edge over standard action games. The long awaited real-time combat system is about as revolutionary as disposable tupperware. Here's how it works: Throughout the game, your character acquires many different cards. Each card represents a different creature you can summon during battle. There are literally hundreds of different cards in the game, but you can only cary a deck of 30. Furthermore, each card and creature in the game has an elemental property to it. This part is intuitive; water does damage to fire, that kind of thing. Although the card-based system could have been a miraculous new development in real-time RPG combat, after about 5 battles it becomes extremely boring and repetitive. Also, there does seem to be any strategic way to organize one's deck of cards. Just choose the monsters you like to see summoned. My biggest problem with this game is the lack of detail. Everything from the landscapes to the annoying music reeks of cheapness and poor planning, and I can't stand the weak story line that plagues most RPGs that focus on combat. Don't buy it unless you enjoy low-budget games.

this game is a solid rpg

This game is great. I bought it and din't know if it would be to good. The battle system is great and it is a pretty long game. The only problem I have with it is that you can't go back to the levels you've beaten until you complete the game. Its hard to get some cards that way, but other than that, i recommend tyhis game.

the best game in the world

The gameplay is nice. It was like combining Final Fantasy and the card game Magic. The only bad part is that I have reached the end guy with less than 5 hours of game play. Definetly NOT worth the cash!
