James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is by far the best James Bond game yet. The graphics are great, although it is viewed from a 3rd person view (where you see yuor entire character, not just the gun). At first, this might not seem great. However, it ends up working very well.
James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing has great varity. The third person view makes stelth easier. The manual aim feature (like in Nightfire) puts you in frist-person ofr precies aiming. There is a fairly forgiving auto-aim feuture, as well. There are driving levels, with a better variety of cars. There are also more explosions, more opportunities to use tight-ropes, and the levels have multiple ways of being beaten.
James bond 007: Everything or Nothing is one of the best games around. The multiplayer mode offers 4 players, with lots of levels, but obviously, no online, but Gamecube gamers' top priority is not online. It is a must buy title.
Fairly good game, spoiled by many annoying features.

For the first hour or so of playing this game, my hopes soared -- could it be that Electronic Arts finally came up with a game that was just enjoyable, without so much of the crap that they so often put in just to mar a perfectly good game?
Alas, deeper into the experience, the annoyance factor crept in. Again.
At first, everything about this game's mechanics, graphics and design made sense. Controls were smooth enough, the graphics (especially the cut movies) were superb and almost lifelike, and the presence of Pierce Brosnan lent credibility. And there are no fewer than four Bond girls in this game, all famous faces -- supermodel Heidi Klum, Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Misaki Ito (Ju-On: The Grudge) and, just to be weird, singer Mya. I was definitely not a big fan of the last choice, either for the theme song or the character, but at least you get variety. In the beginning of the game, I was mightily impressed with how the game kept you in the know about where you are and what you're doing -- there are step-by-step training sessions, the first of which was very cleverly designed as a classic Bond film opening, and the control scheme was simple and effective, instantly manageable.
Then, slowly, the game began to deteriorate. More and more, the same strengths started becoming weaknesses. You're thrown into missions where you're not told what to do, and most of them have a timer on them. I was most annoyed with the "Serena St. Germaine" mission, where you have to drive to a location and supposedly "avoid the patrols". But all paths that don't have patrols on them are guarded by impassable, unbeatable tanks...until I looked it up online and found that you had to drive right into the patrols, then lose them. Didn't the game just tell me I was supposed to "avoid" these suckers? In another mission, you're told to get "beneath" a train with your speeding car. Turns out you have to get "behind" it closely until it sails over a bridge. So it's the old "play it over and over until you luck out on a solution", which I never consider a good thing -- good for keeping the player stuck, but it annoys me to no end.
As in Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain, you're forced to listen to an arrogant voice that berates you for every mistake you make, and in this one it's Judi Dench's "you are a complete failure" speeches, regaling you with insults every time you fail an objective. In one level where you have to drive through a twisty town in the rain and avoid pedestrians, I just threw down the controller and called it quits -- Dench became too irritating, and every time you replay the mission, you have to do this first part over where you're just driving to a park to take a phone call. It's called "checkpoints", you nimrods!
Such a pity, because for the first three or four missions, I was almost ready to give this game the first five-star rating I've ever given to a video game. But it's typical of Electronic Arts, who in the past three or four years have made the Medal of Honor series so joylessly difficult that they ruined my memory of the franchise. So it is with Everything or Nothing -- would've been great, if they hadn't decided to screw it up royally midway through.
"Nothing" Has Everything & Shannon Elizabeth, too!!

Hands down, the best Bond game to date right down to Mya's opening theme titles. Pierce Brosnan, Willem Dafoe, Heidi Klum, Shannon Elizabeth, Mya, Dame Judi Dench, John Cleese, and Richard Kiel all lend there voices, as well as there, likeness to the game. "Everything or Nothing" is white hot dynamite, guaranteed to have so many hours of gameplay, it just might melt your game system.
One of the best games, so far, for 2004. "Everything or Nothing" has James Bond battling a protege of one of his former enemies, Max Zorin, who is trying to take over the world.(Bond fought Zorin, in the 1985 film "A View to a Kill", after Zorin tried to take over Silicon Valley. 007 killed him over the San Francisco Bay Bridge). As the player you must guide Bond through all sorts of hostile enviroments, with the usual amounts of awesome gadgets (I like the spider droid the best), saving the world (and hottie Shannon Elizabeth) from falling into the wrong hands.
What makes the game so cool, is having the cast from the films as an integral part of the game (its almost as if the game is an installment to the film series). The graphics are a bit superior from Bond's last outing, "Nightfire" (another good game). What I liked best of all, was how the story to the game interweaves old school Bond with the new (it was pretty cool to see Brosnan's Bond go up against Jaws, the assassin from Roger Moore's era as Bond).
The downside is the multiplayer option. It sucks. You need another player, & you can't play against the system. "Nightfire" still has this option beat. Also, after the opening pre-credit mission you have to go thru MI6 training which is lame seeing how the player just went thru one mission and can figure out pretty much how everything operates. This should have been a main option right after multiplayer, on the main menu. Overall, the upside far outweighs the downside and this game is definitely worth owning in any game collection.
A must have for Bond fans

This game is amazing. The opening scene and mission it's just like enjoying a 007 movie. The cutscenes are great. The dialogues. Game play is great, you can play by foot, or get to drive cool vehicles. There is a mission you can either accomplish it driving a Porshe Cayenne or a Motorcycle, even better beat twice, once with each one. The missions are short, but it takes you a while to beat them, since they are challenging. Up until this moment my favorite Bond Moment is when you destroy a chopper with your missiles either with the Porshe or the Motorcycle, because it is followed by a great FMV, and then you resume your mission. Graphics and Locations are great. Another great thing is the voice acting and character models based on Hollywood stars, including 007 himself Pierce Brosnan, Willem Dafoe, Heidi Klum, Shannon Elizabeth, and another great element, Bond's Nemesis and one of his most memorable foes JAWS, Richard Kiel. The voices of M and Q are also included, Judy Dench and John Cleese.
This is an amazing game. I was never interested in playing Bond games, specially because I don't like FPS. This game always look great but when I knew it was going to be using Bond as a third person it was a no brainer to get it. EA did it again although gameplay is different this game is as good as the Lord of the Ring Games, produced also by them.
If you are a Bond Fan and Like gaming, You must own this game. You'll love it. If you are not a Bond fan, but are into gaming you'll enjoy it too.
THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST OF BOND!!!

I am an absolute HUGE fan of James Bond.I own TWINE (N64),Tomorrow Never Dies,Agent Under Fire(gamecube),and Nightfire(gamecube).Everything or Nothing looks absolutley brilliant. What impressed me this time, was that ACTUAL actors will be playing the roles.Pierce Brosnan,Judi Dench,Mya,and Williem Dafoee who was terrific in Shadow of the Vampire. This is one of the games that has me waiting at the edge of my seat to own.Another great thing about this game is the new third person view (there hasn't been one since Tomorrow Never Dies). In some places I find the first person view difficult.Especially when climbing or being on an edge. The more I think of it James Bond games are better off just as games. Not movie adaptions.
They've done it again.

James Bond games have always been successful. I have played every one and own Goldeneye(N64), The World is Not Enough(TWINE also for N64), Agent Under Fire(Gamecube), and Nightfire(Gamecube). I am thrilled with the new hand to hand fighting system. With third person, hand-to-hand fighting, and stealth, it reminds me of Tom Clancy's Spinlter Cell, another great game. This is still classic Bond but with new gadgets, a new plot, and new characters. My only hope is that they dont go overboard and put too many car levels on this one. Im more of an FPS player than a racing game player, even if the cars do fire back.

Ok, Bond fans, it's happened. 007: Everything or Nothing (EoN) is simply the best Bond game to date. Previous Bond games attempted to emulate the success of the n64's Goldeneye, and all of them inevitably fell short. EoN does not do this. It tries something completely new, and this is why it succeeds.
EoN drops the first-person shooter mold and gives gamers a third-person perspective a la Splinter Cell. Now, we get to actually see Bond in action. This adds an entirely new aspect to the game, and stealth plays a bigger role than ever before. Also, Bond has been given a new set of hand-to-hand combat moves, but let's face it, why bother with the hand-to-hand combat when you can easily accumulate head shots with your PP7 and Bond's auto-aim locking button? The auto-aim has the ups and downs of any typical third-person videogame. Sometimes you find yourself locking on the wrong guy as someone two feet to your right opens up on you with a machinegun. You just learn to deal with it.
Like the last 007 game, Nightfire, EoN does everything it can to get you to feel as if you're playing in a James Bond film. You put in the game, press power, and James Bond shoots at the camera. Then the game drops you off in a pre-credit sequence. Upon completion, EoN launches into credits and its theme song, sung by Mya. EoN takes it to the next level by having all the characters in the game modeled after and voiced by real-life popular actors including Pierce Brosnan, Willem Dafoe (as the villian), and Shannon Elizabeth. The Willem Dafoe character even has ties with an old Bond villian, Max Zorin from "A View to a Kill." The old henchman, JAWS, also is invited to the party, and before you know it, you're going toe-to-toe with JAWS in a high-speed train! The extra effort by EA to make this seem like a Bond movie really pays off.
There's a lot to do in the game, and the variety of gameplay is unparalleled in any Bond game to date. In one level you find yourself in a car race; in another, you're jumping off a cliff to rescue a falling damsel in distress; and in yet another, you're on your motorcyle dodging exploding canisters on the interstate. Let's not forget that Bond also manages to pilot a helicopter in one level and a tank in another. Oh yeah, and what about Bond's Aston Martin? That shows up, too. There's plenty to do in this Bond game, enough to make it worth your ever precious dollars. The vehicle levels are all improved from previous Bond entries.
The replay value is high as well. There are plenty of things to unlock, including new levels, cheats, and modes of gameplay (including an Arena mode). There are multiple options for multi-player. Besides Arena, there is a multi-player Co-op mode where you choose from different Mi:6 agents and go through chapters specifically created for the Co-op mode. In fact, it is in Co-op mode where most of your options and secrets for the Arena are unlocked. There are only a few "classic" Bond bad-guys to unlock for the arena, including Baron Samedi and OddJob. But who else do you really want?
EoN is a game for people who like a lot of variety in their gameplay and enjoy the Splinter Cell or Mission: Impossible kind of games, mixing stealth with action. The single player story mode seems fuller than previous Bond entries, and in my opinion, the reply value is higher than any other, maybe with the exception of Goldeneye. This game just gives you more of everything: more gadgets, more women, more vehicles, more options, more everything that makes you want to play a Bond game. In short, if you're a fan of Bond, James Bond, I think you will love this game.

The other day my friend bought the new James Bond Everything Or Nothing for Nintendo Gamecube. We got home and started playing it. Right off the back you will realize at how solid EA has made this title. The game has a stunning cutscene right in the beginning and they continue that way throughtout the game. The game has a awsome single player design and the co-op is sweet. The game is hard so don't expect it to be dead easy like the others. It is more like Goldeneye again and have a bit more thinking to do or just shooting. The level designs are great and fun to rome around in. The new grapple gun is so sweet, allowing you to mostly climb every wall. The game is a branching game so you earn things and get new cutscenes as you go. The setup is the best I have ever seen in a shooting game yet, allowing you to use alot more ways to beat a level. The sound is amazing. True 3d surround sound making each shot a joy to hear. My friend said he hates the new James Bonds but I got him to try this since it is in third person. After trying it he said it is my favorite game. So if you are nervouse about trying this new James Bond don't be because this is so worth it. The next day I headed to Walmart and picked it up myself for the Gamecube. This is the new James Bond and going to third person was the right choice.
Graphics 9.5/10
Sound 10/10
Gameplay 10/10
Controls 9/10
Tilt 10/10
This game is mostly perfect, atleast try it.

First, I'll give a quick scoring and grade, then I'll detail them.
Overall - 8.75/10
-------------------
Replayability - 10/10
Controls - 10/10
Single Player - 10/10
Multiplayer - 7/10
Graphics - 9.5/10
Sounds - 10/10
Replayability - It's pretty much required. You beat a mission once, chances are you won't get a gold medal. So you beat it again, this time sights set on it. You make it! When you scroll over the level again, it says "Beat on 00Agent(hardest difficulty setting) to unlock Platinum Challenge". You do that, and then you have to beat it again on 00Agent, this time with a new 'Platinum Challenge' objective, ie time limit, not being allowed to lose any health. This unlocks cheats and other goodies.
Controls - Very nice, overall. Nothing much to say here. Pressing left of right on the D-Pad enters 'Bond Sense' mode, which allows you to switch weapons or gadgets in a -very- slowed down world, so you don't have to fear about getting shot quite so much. You can also examine objects in Bond Sense mode, getting more information about them, such as "Threat" "Objective" "Throwable" "Useable", etc. It also provides a status report on enemies.
Single Player - Best of any Bond Game thus far. The 3rd person aspect turned me away at first(I'm more used to FPS games), but I got used to it and liked it much better. The stealth and hand-to-hand aspect is wonderful.
Multiplayer - In a word: Disappointing. Cooperative is fun, which includes Co-op itself(A set of missions, much like a whole new game), Scramble(Pick a co-op mission, set the scoring parameters, see who gets the best), and race(Beat a mission the fastest).
Then there's arena. This was by far the worst multi-player aspect of any game I've seen. There is no longer teams, no capture the flag, VERY few levels to choose from (three, I believe). The only good part is the booby traps(I have only have unlocked one level, maybe the others don't have them). The only thing that makes this anything but wonderful is that it's all on one screen. A horrible birds-eye view. Stealth goes out the window, you can't snipe people off, and people can see when you're about to set off a trap on them! It TOTALLY defeats the purpose. With split-screen it could have been wonderful.
Graphics - Excellent in every way. Nothing to say here. Look at some screenshots.
Sound - See graphics. Listen to sound-clips, not screen shots. =P
Overall - Could have been the best game ever, if not for the agitating lack of guns(There's only 7 or so, no seeker missiles or beam weapons to speak of), and the single screen Arena mode. Can't wait to see the next game.
