The closest you'll ever get to BEING James Bond

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 1 / 3

The most impressive part about this game to me is how well EA captured the feel of a Bond film. Everything or Nothing could almost be a "lost" 007 adventure. After a brief prologue (in which you're thrown right into the action with precious little assistance), you're treated to a traditional Bond credit sequence, complete with a very decent little pop number by Mya. Then, after a holographic training session, the real action begins.

The story contains several elements Bond fans will recognize. We have that old favorite baddie, Jaws; an underwater fortress right out of Spy Who Loved Me; a villain with ties to Max Zorin (A View to a Kill) and so on. And if you've been disappointed by the driving sequences in previous 007 games, you'll find that EA has improved upon those. The motorcycle and helicopter scenes are excellent.

Favorite new move: As you're rappeling up or down a wall, you can make Bond turn around and fire at pursuers. Shoot one, and he's left dangling on his own cord.

So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, some of the levels are just too short. Some are too hard. And the mulitplayer option just isn't as much fun as it has been in other games (my all-time fave is probably the one in The World Is Not Enough for N64).

But if you've enjoyed the other games in this series, or you're even a casual fan of the movies, you probably will agree that this is the best Bond game since Goldeneye.

Wan't Happy With It

I didn't like this James Bond game as much as others in the past. It wasn't a traditional Bond game, the first person shooter that I was used to and liked was changed to 3rd person which I hate. The levels are extremely hard even on operative mode. I `m not very happy with it!

Horrible

No Challenge, all you do is hide behind a wall.... auto target.... and shoot, overall its not a bad game but like I said before to easy and boring for someone who wants somewhat of a challenge, the only interesting parts, are those involving a car or bike.

Okay but ...

The best part about this game is the co-operative two player mode, it's challenging and more fun to have another player playing with you. The worst part about this game is the other multiplayer modes, like VS, it has the worst camera angle because it's only on ONE screen and the play area is only the size of the screen, there is no where to hide or make traps like place trip bombs, etc. A really, REALLY disappointing VS mode, especially compared to Nightfire. The new Bond view is actually a good change. One player is OK, still not as good as some of the other Bond games...but still a good play, I'd probably just rent this one 1 or 3 times until you beat it.

DO NOT BUY THIS TERRIBLE GAME

I would like to offer you the chance to save about thirty bucks and not buy this game. It's true that the graphics arn't bad and all of that over hyped crap but the game its self just sucks. The single player mode has a terrible plot, coma inducingly boring gameplay and it is just to easy. To me it seams like I am just killing the same retarded AI bot or blowing up the same tank. I dont mind all of the other Bond games mostly because they have respectable arena modes where you have plunty of room to grab a weapon, explore, or just pick off one of your friends, but in this games arena it's like the designers just got really lazy like everyone else and made the smallest arena possible, made the camera unmovable and from an uncomfortable position, and just lets you pick up a crowbar and beat the other guy down without even giving them a fight. If any of you have played Nightfire those arenas are pretty good, come to think of it most of the other games arenas are ok but this one pisses me off. Well I hope you found this review useful and will save your money.

THE BOND GAMES HAVE A REPUTATION FOR BEING GOOD. I HAVE GOLDENEYE, TWINE, AGENT UNDER FIRE, AND NIGHTFIRE. I LOVE THE BOND GAMES BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST THERE ARE. THIS ONE IS JUST GOING TO BE ANOTHER GREAT GAME TO THE COLLECTION. THE THIRD PERSON VIEW IS'T GOING TO HURT THE GAME AT ALL IT IS JUST GOING TO CHANGE IT. I'M JUST SAYING THAT THE GAME MAY NOT BE BLOOD FILLED LIKE OTHER ... GAMES BUT IT IS GOING TO BE A HELL OF A LOT OF FUN

Way too hard!

I bought this a few months ago and was surprised to find that there is no multiplayer. You have to play the one person game which is imposible! So I tried playing the Co-op mode. That is just impossible. A little chalange is fun but this is not! I do not recomend it for the price. I would defenatly rent it or buy it at a resonable price.

This is the worst bond game ever, and possibly the worst game ever. It is not a game, it's a movie. here are the reasons it sucks:
1)EA went with the trend and went 3rd person. This disallows for any entertaining gameplay at all, because you cannot sidestep.
2)The co-operative multiplayer is a completely different story than the single player, and all of the characters you start with are generic ppl.
3)The Co-operative mode is unbelievably hard. It is like trying to shove a rhino in a soda can. It is not entertaining, and is the most frustrating thing i've ever played.
4)You must beat the first "level", which consists of about 10 cansecutive levels, of co-operative to unlock arena mode.
5)I have repeatedly completed every goal to get a platinum medal on one mission, but the game refuses to award it to me.
6)The only good things about this game are the driving levels, but they soon become repetitive and boring.
7)Pierce Brosnan's scrip is worse than that of Dyanasty Warriors 3. After having a discussion with Q about metal, Q suggests he leave. Bond says "Platinum idea, Q, lets test Diavolo's mettle."
The line "Bond, James Bond" is repeated at least 4 times, and it is not dilivered well.
8)I know it's a little sexist, but the girls are ugly as hell.
9)The game is basically a remixed, retextured Enter the Matrix, only with worse hand-to-hand combat, and no focus ability.
10)The only reasons to play this game are to see John Cleese as Q, and Willem Dafoe as Diavolo (2 letters away from the spanish word for devil)

i did not like it because it was boring and i did not like it because there was a guy who killed an other guy and then another guy killed him and it was boring and i thought this game was boring and it was boring and dumb.

Entertained game

I don't like to write very much, but I can tell you that this game serves to be entertained for a while.
