I am a Harvest Moon fanatic! Every game in the series has always been more advanced than the one before it, challenging(well.....most have been challenging), and just plain a blast! I know you must think I'm crazy, I understand completely! You must be saying "A FARMING GAME!!!!!THAT IS SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!" Well, guess what? You're COMPLETELY WRONG!!!! Even I thought Harvest Moon was stupid before I started playing! Now before I start telling you about the game, I'd like to say something EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T let this be the first game in the series you play!!!!!! You will be horribly confused if you're just a beginner! DO start with Harvest Moon 64!!!!!! It is the BEST game that I've played in the series!!!! I will soon be getting Harvest Moon 3!!!!!!!! Anyways, there are lots of things to do on the game! You can either be a guy or a girl and you can live by the ocean, by the river or the middle of town. You start out with a dog. Of course, you get to name any animals, your character, the ranch, and all that other stuff. You can have multiple cows, sheep, chickens, and, my favorite, horses, as long as you have a chicken coop/barn. There are also lots of crops! And of course you try to collect lots of notes to help free the Harvest Goddess. You have lots of marriage choices! If you're a girl you can marry Ray, Alex, Kurt, Dan, Blue, Joe, Carl, Louis, Bob, Basil, and your rival, Jamie! You can marry Jamie no matter what gender you are, because Jamie's gender changes depending on yours! If you're a guy you can marry Gwen, Eve, Ann, Katie, Lyla, Ellen, Nina, Maria, Gina, Dia, and Jamie! Then later you have a kid! There is a lot more to this game and its series then you will ever know of unless you play! So get into the world of Harvest Moon! You won't regret it!

OMG i played and loved harvest moon a wonderful life and when i found thid was coming out like a month ago i was like HURRY UP! and i just now found out its out so im so exicted and i cant wait to try it out.

Even though all the other Harvest Moon games are great, this one, however, is not good at all.It's addicting,I'll admitt that, but the graphics are horrible and very hard to accomplish. I've had this game for about three days, and i'm not even a quarter of the way through with it. True, it has a good story line to it, but not my first choice. If I was you, I'd stick with the first ones.

If you think this game is hard you obviously aren't very...
adaptive. Have you ever played animal crossing? tried to upgrade
your house? trust me thats alot harder then gettin the barn in
this game so stop whining!... wimps. oh, well this game is great, personaly I like the 'kiddie' graphics better then the
'realistic' graphics.I love the 64 version and this version better then the 'realitic' version... the a wonderful life sucked anyway. Oh well besides the 'challenge' of getting the barn this game gets a 4.5!

This game is horrible. The graphics are not at all as realistic as the wonderful life games. The characters are ugly, and although it sounds like so much fun, its a bore. My sister and I both agreed that its stupid. My sister CRYS when she looks at the character because she has pigtails and she claims she looks like a "five year old". DO NOT waste your money, if you do, I'm sure you'll be posting a review with the same message as mine.

This game was my 12 year olds favorite present this Christmas. (believe me she had plenty to choose from) She disappeared for hours, infact didn't want lunch, because she was so engrossed in the game. She recently finished it and is excited to play it again in a few months. (mom's rule) Definately a hit at our house!

I always know I'll get great products and quality service purchasing from Amazon.com. I purchased the game for a christmas present to a family member and I knew it would be sent on time without having to worry of missing out on putting it under the christmas tree. I have a very happy recipient of the game.

I just start playing it. It's alittle more complicated than the other Harvest moons. One thing I dont like: At first you can store more than 5 things in your rucksack. You dont have the option to move the camera angle around to see where your going. You will get lost quick. You see when you play it. I will continue to play... Also you have a tired meter and you can revive youself by eating or sleeping. If you do too much and food is not around you will faint and end up in the docs offices. It;s fun once you know what your doing.

it's really fun! :)

I really like this Harvest Moon. it's different from the one for nintendo 64, but i think its just as good. the good part about this version is you get to choose to be a boy or a girl. also you have to collect notes to free the harvest godess, and you get notes for like.... some festivals or if you put out a camp fire; stuff like that. i also like how u can give a person that you like presents and they start to like you. there is a button you press to pull up and sceen that shows all of the people in town that you know. beside them are hearts and the more hearts they have beside them, the more they like you. I don't want to give the whole game away, but it's really fun!:)

As an adult I find this game extremely entertaining when I want to just have mindless enjoyment! I find myself looking up hints on the internet to get ideas on how to make friends with the other villagers. I am playing as the girl and started another game where I am the boy so I have the outlook of both characters, great fun. I am quite busy looking after the livestock and watering or picking my crops, the days are varied and you can do as little or as much as you want in a day. You do have to be careful not to exhaust your character though. Recommend for everyone!
