I got this game for my birthday it was great then after a while it started to get less and less interesting but maybe my prefrences have changed oh well it a cool game though

with the sims 2 coming in about 3 monthes, why waste hard earned money (or not) on the primitive game?

This game got better with expansion packs. I'm addicted. Even I spend nights playing. This is thwe way i like it.

Will get old fast

At first..this game will blow your mind, and believe me you'll be on it for hours day and night. Then after a couple of days you'll play it less and less and soon you'll just want a newer and better expansion pack with new things...but really thats what Maxis is trying to do and it's alright to give in and buy new ones. I did, and now I'm just waiting for the Sims 2. Sounds great! But really I'd go for the Sims Online. It lasts a little while longer in your head, because there's always new things to go on for. It's the game I'd reccommend because it never gets old. But, ya know Makin Magic could b fun...but i don't even have it ;)

I'm a huge fan of the Sims games and so far the Sims making magic is the best expansion pack yet! If your a Sims fan you must have this game! You have lots of fun making spells and even turning your neighbor into a frog! Even visit Magic town and go golfing or ride a roller coaster!!! New items, New houses, and new Sims. A whole lot of fun in one game! Get this game, you won't be disappointed! Don't forget it comes with a sneek preview of the Sims 2 wich looks pretty cool!

Waste of money!

I thought this game was supposed to be cool. I look back and it's 9.99. Now it's 24.99. Can't you people ever keep it to one price? You change it every day. Keep it at 9.99. Or some other number. It's annoying when you look at the 9.99 price and you see that you have enough, so you decide to order it tommorrow. But the next day, it's 24.99 and you have to save up enough money still. And you have Shipping and Handling to pay still!!!!

The Sims makin magic is a great game.I am 14 and i love the sims. I think the editions to this game as in the new furniture is very cool. Ive had this game for 1 month and ever sents i started playing it i loved it. Its exciting and very interesting. Your Sims have magic! to make spells you have to get ingreedents go do a qeust for the vendors. The vendors are Vicki Vampiress,Illisun Fairy Queen and Jim the magigisun. This is a great game! But when you get a sim game you always want another!

u may think this may be a little childish but its not at all. actully u can cheat but not actully considered cheating because magic can give u relationships,love,fame,fortune and toads and dancing flamingos and gnomes that help u do yard work.

the other sims games r okay but this 1 is like being in a vacation like being in downtown shoping. the only thing it does not replace is (studio town) 1 of my fav places to go and hang out raise my fame.but dont just go out buying this game thinking that magic is free well its not u have to buy the ingrediants make the ingrediants and then u only get a certain amount of spell use's like the big question u only get 1 of those but u can always make more so u can go all out pimp'en.

This is one of my favorite expansion packs out of The Sims. It is incredibly creative, entertaining, and engaging. In this expansion pack, you have a wand, and a new kind of currency called MagiCoins. You have to earn or buy all kinds of ingredients with your MagiCoins to make new spells and charms, and the better the ingredients, the cooler the spell or charm will be. You earn MagiCoins by performing in Magic Town, or running errands for vendors that sell different things. There are tons of new objects, including a new maid that you can buy, named Bonehilda (she's a skeleton with a maid costume!). And guess what? You can buy a dragon egg :-D If you don't already have this game, go out and BUY IT!!!
