I've actually gotten my hands on this game, and let me tell you; if you like fighting games, you'll probably like this. More into Capcom fighters? You'll hate it. Bloody Roar: Primal Fury is far superior to the previous Playstation/PS2 incarnations, both in graphics and gameplay. The technical side of the game is, as usual, easy to grasp. Too easy. You can punch, kick, grab, and morph into your monster (the same button's used for the monster's special attack). That's about as deep as it gets; this game's pretty much a no-brainer. A button-masher is just as likely to win in a fight than a seasoned Street Fighter Alpha 3 veteran, and usually at a bit of an advantage. But the graphics are BEAUTIFUL, coming dreadfully near Dead or Alive 2 caliber. Almost. If you like a game that's fun to play, if somewhat simplistic, gopher it. I always enjoyed games from this series; this one happens to be the best in the set. PS2 players: Be envious. The "Gaycube" pinned it down.
Bloody Roar goes on!

Bloody Roar Primal Fury is a very cool game. There is a special meter for your beast change. When the meter is full, you are able to change into a beast. Different characters turn into differrent types of beasts. This is probably the greatest fighting game for the Nintendo Gamecube.
This is great

This game is great, I played the game every way possible, and I didn't find blood or suggestive themes, (wich the esrb said this game had) and I'm a girl that hates realy wiolent stuff so I would probly make a big deal if there was anything like blood. I love this game, its completly clean, and it's extremly fun.
Very Good!

I bought this game after renting it, because it is totally awesome! First off, I own 4 video games and when I rent them, then like them, I buy them. Which means that all my games are totally [awesome!]
Bloody Roar: Primal Fury is very reccomended to everybody to rent and try it. Here are my rating features:
Controls: B The combos can be very tough but others easy. Otherwise the game is fun for beginners.
Graphic- A+ The graphics are great! The Japanese animation in the beginning is very detailed. Probably the best graphics I saw for a game.
Interest of Fun: A I owned this game for 2 weeks so far and it is still very fun!
Theme: B+ Very good for the plot of a fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, for example, has no plot besides fighting for no reason.
In total, I love this game!
My favorite character is Xion, The Unborn.
Realistic it's not, but it sure is FUNFUNFUN!

Somewhere in May, maybe June, There was this 'small' fighting game released for the GameCube. Since I'm a huge fan of fighting games, I spent hours reading reviews and downloading screenshots, to see if it was worth a buy. But, according to pretty much every reviewer, the game was only fun for a few hours. A friend of mine even gave it a 4.1! So, with pain in my heart, I let it go. When I saw it in a shop, for little to no money, I decided to give it a go, and buy the game. After three days of non-stop gaming, I could only say one thing: boy, where those reviewers wrong! Bloody roar is one of the best fighting games I've ever played, with the coolest moves ever, shoving Soul Calibur aside.
GRAPHICS.
Incredible, I'd say. While the gameplay is fast and fluid, the animation of the characters is perfect, no slowdown at all, and that with the most beautiful characters ever. For example, when you look deep into Shina's eyes, you'll actually see the reflection of the light, and it's different in every stage. Talking 'bout stages, those aren't that special, sometimes a bit too small, but no major letdown. Overal: 9
GAMEPLAY.
Easy, but enough tough moves to let the better player win, although there's the occasional exception where the button masher wins perfect. This is sometimes annoying, but most of the people will be able to handle that. The game is fast, and the moves are (like said before) very cool. Especially the beast drives, which you can do when in beast form, are cooler than anything you've ever seen in a game. Overall: 9
REPLAY.
Tons of it. When alone, you'll play this game for hours unlocking things in Arcade and survival, and when with a friend, you'll expand that time with at least 20-30 hours. Overal: 9
CONCLUSION: Very good fighting game, best one for the 'Cube right now, but only buy it if it's cheap, for Soul Calibur 2 will be out pretty soon, and we all know how that's gonna be...
Nevertheless, rent this game at least once, and don't return it, until you've executed every single beast drive, believe me, it's worth the wait (my personal favourites are shina's, bakuryu's and Alice's).
SCORE: 88, not perfect, but - for me - close enough to give it 5 stars

If you've liked the last BR's then you'll love this one. You can play 12 characters and are able to unlcok 4. You're also able to unlock hidden levels that you play along in the Arcade mode in the game. The booklet shows you the moves with the Hyper-Beast moves. The graphics are splendid, I didn't notice anything wrong with them so far while I've had the game. One more thing that I love about the game, the controls. Bloody Roar's controls are some of the best that I've played so far, even better than most of my PS2 games'. I reccomend Bloody Roar : Primal Fury for any of those Fighter gaming fans, you'll love it like you loved the first 3 Bloody Roars.
Don't let the name fool you.

If, there is one thing I have to commend Hudson for doing, it's managing to keep all the characters in the same series. Other fighting series picked up and dropped characters, but Bloody roar, Hudson just kept adding more characters. There is quite a few problems that keep it from being "ultimate game of all time":
1.It is too fast: I managed to unlock half of all the secret stuff in less than two days, little replay value.
2.Not enough changes: You might as well call it "Bloody Roar 3 with a couple extra charaters and stages in it"
3.Weak story line: Compared to BR:2 the story line, you couldn't even call it a story line.
Still, I love the bloody roar series with it's intresting story line and characters. This game also has killer graphics that shames the graphical power of the last bunch in its series and the innovative combat system. I suggest that you rent the game first, try it out for your self than decide if you want to buy it or not but for me, even after it got boring, I still love the game with all of my heart.
