I bet you if you play Winning Eleven 6 you will burn your FIFA 2004, all it has is gloss, good comments, songs, presentative but soccer gameplay - 0 out of 100. If you watch European soccer, you will know that Fifa does not simulate the sport at all. Very sluggish moverments, slow, inability to play the most prestigious soccer tournaments -the world cup, unreasonable gameplay options, VERY LOW AI COMPARED TO THE WINNING ELEVEN 6. Ommision of soccer gaints like holland is not pardonable, not having the ability to create your own tournaments or go straight for the european championship is just silly. If you still play fifa it ONLY because you have not played WINNING ELEVEN 6 which is a lot better. By the way true soccer fans watch out for WINNING ELEVEN 7 import reviews say it's great. ALl soccer fans that dont beleive in Winning eleven go to any professional game site and compare the rankings and review s it blows fifa awaaaaaaaay. It real soccer simulation not like fifa where scoring a goal even a gainst world class setting is like taking candy from a baby. PLAY Winning eleven if you want SOCCER

I recently got married...so this means that to buy FIFA 2004, I needed to tell my wife I would be buying this iconic game, instead of going out and pre-ordering like I used to. Well, I have read so much about this game, been anticipating for months, so about 5 minutes ago I bought FIFA 2004. I couldn't help it, I watched some video last night of the gameplay and the amazing graphics. Now my only problem will be coming up with an excuse about why I bought it without the much stressed "communication" people need in marriage. Oh well, I think when it arrives I will be too busy drooling over my game winning run against Man-U by Michael Owen at Anfield to really understand what, if anything I did wrong.
Why did I buy it? Because, "It's in the game."
ONE OF DA BEST GAMES!

Man... After buying this game the first day it came out, wow..... I don't undertand whats with all the other reviews. I played Winning 11 games all the time since my friend owns some but FIFA tops all the games. the graphics of the players look realistic as they could push the creators to the limit, but they kind of look cartoonish. The fields look awesome. Everytime a player falls they leave a grass stain. So many leagues including KOREAN LEAGUE! although im kinda mad they had only 1 korean chant, taehanminguk but sounds like FIFA 2002 World Cup "tae-han-min-gok. I'm not sure about the other countries because I got hooked with K-League, BUSAN ICONS ALL THE WAY! URI HA NUN PUSAN, SANG GI LUR HA NUN BU (PUSAN) (PUSAN) (no i didn't mispell it) Besides taht they have a practice mode where you play outside a fenced area that in the background has a sound of a chirping bird. Practice your field kicks too. BUT CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY SONG CHONG-GUG IS ONLY 57!?!?!?! ALL THE ESPN ANNOUNCERS SAID HES AWESOME! They have over 700 teams and a lot of players. The commentary has improved although one of the announcers is annonying (talks dull except for the guy still from FIFA 2002 World Cup). Overall I like Career mode the best. It lets you control a team for 5 years and if you do good, youll get points to help your players but its only once a year. STILL BUY THIS GAME, THIS GAME WAS WORTH THE $50
O PIL SUN COREA! <><><> O PIL SUN COREA <><><> OP IL SUN COREA OOREOO FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
ALE ALE ALE PUSAN, ALE ALE ALE PUSAN, ALE ALE ALE PUSAN OOOOOOX3
ALE ALE ALE PUSAN ICON X3

Let me start off by saying "This game rocks".It has great graphics,Entertaining game modes and lots of all new features.
There are a few things wrong with this game though. You can't take on players or you lose the ball,Has a confusing set up where you go into game modes and you can only play 10 minutes a half.Wheres the 45 minutes a half option?Other than this the game is spectacular and is worth buying if you are a soccer game fan.I love it how you can play nearly any league in the world and the teams have a fair amount of stars. But how can countrys have less stars than some clubs.WEIRD?.Overall this is the best soccer game I have ever played and is worth every cent. Now I have to go to play Fifa 04 on my playstation 2. 8/10
Im too good

this game i found very very easy, not once did i lose, (with the cheats on), you should make it more challenging, for the more experienced players..... P.S. Brad is kool (obviousley)
Fifa 2003 was more of an improvement than Fifa 2004

EA Sports completely ruined the Fifa series, apart from adding the new online gaming choice, it still doesn't change the fact that EA bringing out this shameful follow up to the previous greats can be congratulated. Overall, fifa 2004 has lost a total of 4.5 points from 10, but Fifa 2003 has lost just 1 point from 10.
Graphics: 10
Sound: 9
Gameplay: 3.5
Rosters: 5
Improvment: 4
Overall: 6.5
So once again, this was a terrible comeback from EA. It was the worst in the Fifa series, the championship throphys are fake, there are no liscenced real tournaments, the career mode doesn't even give you a point after flawless playing and the rosters are not up to date and most of the top names from last years greatest Fifa edition are missing.
This game sucked, so i recommend that you get Fifa 2003 instead of 2004.
The only great feature of this game is the online mode

This game is really fun and never gets boring but why didn't EA add the Create a Team mode or produce classic teams from the 60s to the current, with players like Pele, Marradona and the old Ronaldo with an average of 98. Well i guess EA creates the game for themselves rather that listening to us players, ah well, the main thing is that this game is really fun at online mode but the normal matches are getting a bit boring, even the WorldClass mode is no match for me.
7.5/10.
