Street Fighter In The Palm Of Your Hands

Street Fighter Alpha 3 is one of the best in the series but this port lacks its full potential because of its difficult controls. If only the game boy advance had 6 buttons instead of 4 this would be true to the arcade. It may take awhile before I can get use to these controls but so far its a great game.

One of the better handheld console fighting games that I've played, but still, far from anything substantial to a competitive fighter. The original game has only bee replicated in the Playstation 2 version, via Street Fighter Alpha Anthology. None of the other renditions have been as good, expect possibly the Sega Saturn version. This version, by comparison to those two, the Playstation 1, and the Dreamcast versions is by far the worst and least competitive.

Looks Cool

I have no doubt that this will be an awesome game. I've seen screenshots & read reviews about it in Game Pro & EGM. The graphics are about GBA'S best they look like the psx's graphics witch is good for a handheld. Gamepro said it was extremely fun and a must but for GBA owners and fighting junkies.

Based on the Dreamcast version . . .

I've played the Dreamcast, PSX, and Arcade versions of this game, and it is THE 2-D fighting game by which all others should be compared. This game essentially has everything the Dreamcast version has, including 3 new characters from Capcom vs. SNK 2. Capcom did great with Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival for the GBA, and I trust this will not disappoint either.

Though I have yet to play the game, I have seen videos of it - the animation is smooth and the graphics are honestly comparable to the Dreamcast version. And the best part is . . . it's portable!!!

This is a must have for any Street Fighter fan, and quite frankly, for any Gameboy gamer!

near perfect

the games translates very well from console to handheld. all moves come over intact and graphics aren't too noticably scaled down. the only think i've noticed is that it is hared at times to do a combo correctly when the directional pad is smaller. that isn't a problem with the game though, just the gameboy. you may find it easier to use an older gameboy instead of an sp though.

Great Game on the go!!!!!!!!!

This is a very close port of the original SFA3 arcade game. The game really shows off the power of the GBA pretty well. The fighters move smoothly and all the little subtle animations are there too. Overall I was blown away at how good this looked on the GBA. The controls are a little hard to pull off but you do get used to it, I just forget about doing certain moves that are too hard and stick to the easy ones. Overall I would recomend this game if your a HARDCORE fighting game fan and need your fighting fix on the go!!!

I like this game because there are many ways to control the fighters, and the fighters look good. Lots of action. Every fighter has his/her own style. Instantly playable, yet with many levls of complexity. Be sure to look for the spectators watching the fights. Great game. What a blast.

First of all, any game with Cammy in it is worth having. But it's a real shame that all the great storylines from the original version were almost entirely cut out. I was hoping for more (not less!) after Capcom created new storylines for SSF2TR. And some of the best stages were nixed too. The graphics are good, and the gameplay is okay once you get used to the awkward button scheme. The 3 new characters make it kinda interesting, but that wasn't enough to make-up for all that was lost.

a great fighter
